The art of “bebe time” ano nga ba ang “bebe time”?
Bebe-time ay isang Filipino Slang na ang ibig sabihin ay quality time for your significant other or simply spending time with your “bebe” or “bae” to begin with our story, kilalanin muna natin ang ating mag kasintahang bida na sina Jaemin Na from College of Education at si Jeno Lee from College of Engineering slash the captain of men’s basketball team . Knowing their colleges small background nahihirapan din talaga sila gumawa ng “bebe time” dahil sa contradiction ng class schedules nila at syempre ang infamous school works but Jaemin understands it VERY WELL because he’s busy doing his things too. Thus, knowing his boyfriend he knew na kahit anong mangyari Jeno will always find a time and way to have their desired “bebe time”
But, not this past few days. Jeno is TOO busy WAY TOO busy for a:
No calls
No night facetime
No lunch dates
No interaction at all
Just leaving a message with “bubba, i’m a bit busy today, let’s talk after ok? I’ll message you. Labyu, Tangi”
Not to be petty or something but Jaemin is indeed missing his tangi already. Jaemin once tried to detour para makadaan sa school gym to check for Jeno only to get an “Wala si Jeno dito lumabas, may tinutulungan na certain lee para daw sa major nila” from Sehun--Jeno’s team mate and co-captain.
Ofc, Jaemin did move a flinch and raise his eyebrows.
“Excuse me? CERTAIN LEE WHO?” he sassily says emphasizing the last two words.
Sehun and Renjun the famous libero from volleyball team--shared a cracking laugh as they saw Jaemin’s reaction. “My LEE, NA, LEE Haechan” the younger rolled his eyes in realization and quickly rebutted with “e kasi may pangalan naman si haechan may pa certain lee pang nalalaman si kuya sehun” and unquote another eye roll leaving the two boys and others laughing their ass off.
It was “almost” University knows that the famous Basketball captain Lee Jeno and the School pep squad leader Mark Lee used to date. “E ano naman, EX na nga diba?” Jaemin says, circa Jeno and Him were flirting.
Jaemin shrugs the not so good memory and proceeds to open his TV and tune in to Netflix’s new series Vincenzo. Right now, he’s at his own apartment enjoying his alone time slash being Jeno deprived. Na comfortably lay on his bed hugging a Ryan plushie--that Jeno gave him while munching his popcorn. Thirty minutes had passed halfway through of his first episode’s ending and suddenly his phone rang, he took a glimpse to see who it was.

He immediately ran to where his phone was and accepted the call.
“Hi Bali”
The Jeno from the other line softly greeted, Jaem rolled his eyes and chuckled. He missed him.
“Anong kailangan mo Jeno Lee” he replied in a joking way.
“You. I missed you” the older sincerely said, Jaem on the other hand smiles a cheeky one and sighs.
“Sure, busy man” he teases.
Lee Jeno as expected a whiny baby whined.
“Really bal, i missed you. I was busy the whole week. I can't even call you. Ngayon lang ako nag ka oras, i am super tired. Dead tired” the boy rants and Jaem sure finds it endearing he let out a small chuckle before answering with.
“Alright stop talking in pout na, i missed you too”
Jeno was heard giggling, Jaemin again smiled and bit his lower lip trying his best not to be heard.
“Okay big baby. you rest na, you are tired diba?”
The boy from the other line sighs “yes i'm tired but i am free now, hindi mo ba ako i-imbitahan sa apartment mo?”
jaemin smiled “but you need to rest, jen”
“Can’t i rest with you?”
The younger chuckled and “touche”
“Alright you won, so ballie can you come and rest here nalang?”
Jeno yeet and giggled as he heard the cute invitation from his INDEED energizer.
“Like bebe time mahal?” the younger teases.
“Oh please,JENO LEE” Jaem kind of hated the word bebetime for him, it was just for highschooler couples.
“I’m kidding hehe, i'm on my way na palabas na ako bahay”
“Okay don’t use your phone while driving”
“Eung, okeoke bigboss”
“And love, please bring pizza i only have popcorn here”
“Only if you give me a kiss” jeno from the other line says giggling
jaem rolled his eyes “Jeno Lee i swear to God”
The older laughed and bit his lower lip. “Alright baby, aalis na ako for real bye i’ll see you”
“Okay ballie, have a safe drive”
The call ended and Jaemin is now preparing to see the love of his life for a bebetime na isang buong week niya inantay. Okay maybe he does love it sometimes hehe.
