It was a nice day. People wonder about their day, attending to their duties. Kids play their games in the street collecting flowers, eating candy, and playing with their toys or playing with each other. Adults watched all the kids play oh how carefree they can be without a care in the world not caring about what the future brings just living their life. In a mountain not that far from Liyue Harbor, two Archons were taking a stroll, a tall man with dark brown hair tied into a ponytail with gold at the ends of his hair known as the god of contracts and geo. The other a shorty, Raven hair with two braids and a touch of green at the ends known as the god of freedom and wind. Both had their fingers laced, the couple walking in the mountains of Mt. Tianheng chatting about their lives and talking about how much they loved one another. The smaller man was pregnant. His partner made sure that they walked slowly as he didn't want his mate to get hurt or the baby he was carrying. The other one protested that he was perfectly fine and that they didn't need to go slow however, the taller man refused.
“Moraaaax we don't need to go slow I am perfectly fine and so is the baby!” Morax stared at him.
“Absolutely not! You are 8 months into your pregnancy the doctors said that you can't carry heavy things and you must take things slowly that means walking as well Barbatos.” Barbatos sighed in defeat knowing very well that Morax wouldn't let him walk fast if he said so. The two continued walking Barbatos leaning on Morax’s shoulder getting a bit tired of walking. He thought for a moment whether to take out his trusty lyre and play a tune but decided against it. Morax on the other hand noticed his precious lover getting sleepy.
“Barbatos.”
“Yes?”
“Are you tired?”
“A little”
“Do you want to rest a bit?”
“Hmmm… yes please…” with that Morax saw a huge tree in the distance and decided that they should rest there. When they got close enough Morax laid down first then gestured for Barbatos to lay down with him. Once he laid down with Morax he snuggled closer to him, Morax hugging him and protecting him and their unborn child. The two stayed there basking in the warm sun, snuggling under the tree.
“Morax…”
“Yes?”
“Why did you impregnate me when you were in your half Qillin form?”
“Ganyu wanted someone else that looked at least a bit like her so she wouldn't feel lonely… And because another Qillin baby sounded adorable and I wanted to have another one with you.”
“Oh… Fair enough.” They continued cuddling Barbatos eventually falling asleep in Morax’s arms. Soon enough Morax fell asleep as well, hearing his little lover breathing peacefully made him calm and sleepy. A few hours later Barbatos and Morax were woken up by some sounds of fighting. Both becoming immediately alert. Max grabs his Spear and is ready to attack those who dare get near Barbatos. Then they saw familiar blue hair and some dark green hair with lighter green highlights. They immediately recognized who they were. Their daughter Ganyu and their son Xiao. Morax stood up to see who they were fighting, ah the Fatui and some treasure hoarders who wanted to attack Morax and Barbatos while they were sleeping. Knowing that made Morax angry so he quickly dealt with the enemies. Once done he looked at his 2 children who were overjoyed that they were ok.
“Father! Mother! You're both ok!” Ganyu ran towards Morax first and hugged him then she noticed Barbatos smiling at her and ran over to hug him as well. She looked down at his somewhat big stomach carrying her future baby sibling that would look a bit like her. She couldn't help but shed a few tears of joy. Barbatos just hugged her and put her hand above his stomach so that she could feel her unborn sibling kick. Xiao just looked at his sister and Mother and smiled he then turned to greet his father as Morax thanked Xiao for protecting him and Barbatos. After that Xiao also went to go put his hand atop his mother's stomach to feel the baby kick. He started crying a bit. Not knowing why he just started to cry. Barbatos couldn't stand seeing his Children cry so he took out his lyre and sang a tune.
“When the bubblegum pops, I want you to smile! Remember all the good times, we had when the skies were grey! Oh, bubblegum dears? Why are you crying? I'll never let them take, my bubblegums away!” He kept singing until the two of them stopped crying and sang along with him. Morax just watching his lover with awe, pure adoration, and love. Eventually, Ganyu broke the silence.
“Mother, father do you know what's the gender of the baby?” Morax and Barbatos looked at each other not knowing whether to tell them that Barbatos was pregnant with twins. They both decided it was time to tell them. “Yes actually… It's not just one baby it's two… Your mother is expecting twins.” Xiao and Ganyu had to process what they said before both of their eyes opened wide and their jaws almost hit the ground. “TWINS?!?!?” They said in unison. “Twins” Barbatos sheepishly repeated. That's when Ganyu started to squeal. She jumped up and down screaming “IM GOING TO HAVE BABY TWIN SIBLINGS!!!” Barbatos couldn't help but giggle while Xiao and Morax watched her in awe. Who knew a shy Qillin could have so much energy?
“Are they a boy and a girl?” Xiao asked. Both Barbatos and Morax nodded making Xiao excited and making Ganyu even more excited than before. All Morax and Barbatos did were smile widely and be proud of them at how good older siblings they'd make. Morax leaned close to Barbatos' ears and whispered something that made him blush madly, “I'm glad that your the one I fell in love with you and, decided to make love with you because if I didn't we wouldn't have our lovely children.”
