A Helping Hand to Heal Injured Souls
Prologue
It was a Sunny day late July It was almost three months after the war a day before his 18th birthday, that Harry found himself waking up from sleep with a start, disappointed that he had another horrific nightmare. Not a night passes by without a nightmare or two. It was not unusual to have 2 or 3 people up at once throughout the night, awake from nightmares.
Harry was still having trouble believing that he was still alive. He had been content with the knowledge that sacrificing himself would save the people he loved and that he would finally spend time with his parents.
That’s why it had been so hard to come to terms with living a life, he knew that doing nothing less than living his life to the fullest would be disresptfull to the people who sacrificed themselves to defeat Voldemort, he just never imagined a life where he could what he wished without something hanging over him.
Harry then got out of bed and looked over towards the other bed where Ron was snoring away, Harry never really noticed the sound after hearing it from both Ron and Neville during his years at Hogwarts.
This was the first day in a while that they had a day to do stuff as they had been helping to restore Hogwarts to its greatness, but the repairs on Hogwarts had been finished yesterday and so now it was just getting the powerful wards reinstated that would take a month and a half, Hogwarts was to reopen on the 19th September.
As he walked down the stairs, he saw Mrs Weasley bustling in the kitchen making some breakfast for Mr Weasley and Bill.
“Good morning Harry how are you this morning?” Mrs Weasley asked sombrely as he sat at the table.
“OK this morning Mrs Weasley, Bill I didn’t know that you were coming over for breakfast this morning”
“With Fleur visiting her family in France, I thought that would have some of mum’s delicious food.”
“Harry, I keep on telling you to call me Molly, you’re an adult now.” Mrs Weasley said as she put scrambled eggs, bacon and toast in front of Harry “is Ron awake yet”.
“Sorry its hard you have been always Mrs Weasley to me and Ron is still snoring away asleep”
Harry then started to eat his breakfast as Mr Weasley and Bill started to get themselves ready and off for work. Just after Bill and Mr Weasley headed out the door to apparate off to work, Gringotts for Bill and the Ministry for Mr Weasley, both Ginny and Hermione came down the stairs Hermione sat across from him and Ginny kissed Harry on the cheek as she sat down next to him.
Ginny and him had restarted their relationship two weeks before but the flair that had been before when they had started their relationship back in his sixth year was gone, every action seemed awkward.
On the other hand, Hermione and Ron had decided to start a relationship and they were going wonderful fit together perfectly like caramel and salt opposite yet works together. You could often find the two of them resting against each other in the evenings. They of course had their arguments but they were learning to compromise that they each have different opinions on different subjects and that is ok.
Mrs Weasley put a plate in front of Hermione and Ginny as Ron came down the stairs and sat in the chair. Just then an owl flew through the open window and dropped four envelopes on the table. Harry caught a glimpse of the Hogwarts seal on the back of the envelopes. Harry Hermione and Ginny each grabbed the envelopes with their corresponding name on it. Harry pulled the letter out of the envelope and read the contents.
Dear Mr Harry Potter
Since you were unable to complete your seventh year at Hogwarts you are invited to join us on the 19th of September to complete your seventh. We know this year is going to be hard for anyone to return to Hogwarts so we will have several mind healers on campus to help every student cope with the year ahead.
A reply is required by the 15th of August on whether you are going to come to Hogwarts this year. An equipment and book list are included which has the necessary stuff needed if you are going to return to Hogwarts.

Harry glanced at the booklist and then returned it and the letter to the envelope they came in as Ginny handed the letter to her mum to look over. Hermione, Ron, Ginny and him had already discussed the fact that the four of them would be returning for their seventh year when Professor McGonagall had approached them about this a few days ago. Harry still was not sure about the decision to return to the castle after everything but he was determined to have one normal year at Hogwarts.
“How about we go on a date today, we can go to Diagon Alley get our supplies and get some lunch” Ginny asked “If they want to, we could even make it a double date with Ron and Hermione”
Hermione and Ron looked at each other and agreed that was a good idea and returned to their breakfast. They all finished their breakfast and got ready to go to Diagon Alley.
