“Isn’t it a bit early for tea? Is this even tea?” questioned Hordak as Shadow Weaver poured the hot liquid into his fine china cup.
“Just drink it before it goes cold my Lord” retorted Shadow Weaver as she poured her own cup of tea before placing the still steaming pot on the fancy looking hot plate on the table.
Also on the small table was a very stylish Afternoon Tea Plate. It was decorated with a pot overflowing with hummus, vegetable sandwiches and tea scones but there was also some oddities to be found among the treats.
“Am I allowed to ask why there’s popcorn...and are those chips?” enquired Hordak tilting his head while he spoke
“Do you mean ‘fries’ my Lord? They do go well with a dollop of ketchup..”
“Not those...I really don’t want to know why they are here ...” he sighed before continuing “-These” he announced while picking up a single potato chip with his clawed hand and took a tiny bite. His mouth made strange shapes as he tried to work out the flavour. “Salty?” He finally asks
“Yes my Lord, salty like fresh tears..they do go so well with the popcorn”
“You have weird tastes Shadow Weaver” chuckled Hordak as he finally took a sip of his tea
“You know that’s exactly what everyone else says...” she laughed back
“This tea is delicious” commented Hordak, “what flavour is it?”
“Ah it’s a special brew my Lord, I call it ‘ Ann-tea ’”
“Most wonderful”
