Chapter Text
Bakugou sat at the table in the communal dining room which was connected to the rest of the common area. His food was getting cold because he was eating it so slow. It was December and very chilly outside so many couples sat in the common room. They were cuddled up together enjoying each other's warmth. Other students were in their rooms. Bakugou didn't care about any of them except for one couple that kept distracting him from eating.

Yesterday it was just as chilly, but Midoriya wanted to train with Bakugou like he always did. Of course the blonde couldn't deny him.
"Kacchan, are you still cold?" Midoriya asked as they sat near each other on a bench
"Yes! I'm freezin' my damn balls off." Bakugou complained as he shivered
Midoriya giggled.
"Well then take this." He said handing Bakugou his sweater
"No." Bakugou shook his head while his teeth chattered
"Why not? You're cold." Midoriya asked, furrowing his brows
"What about you?" Bakugou said, side eyeing him
Midoriya shook his head.
"I'll be fine Kacchan. I'm not even cold." He shrugged
Bakugou studied him for a moment then rolled his eyes.
"Whatever." He said, snatching the clothing and shoving it over his head
He straightened it out and warmth already started enveloping him along with a fresh green apple smell. It was tight on him though because it was definitely a size or two too small.
"Ugh. Kacchan, why do you look better than me in it?" Midoriya whined
Bakugou only smirked.
"I look good in everything Nerd."
"Not fair!" Midoriya cried
"Suck it." Bakugou stuck his tongue out at the boy who began laughing
Then it died down quickly as something caught his big green eyes. Bakugou followed his line of sight to see he was looking at Uraraka and Asui who were walking by. His eyes snapped back to Midoriya watching his eyes as they stayed trained on the girls. It was strange to see the little glimmer there. Actually it hurt. What a sight for sore eyes, Bakugou thought sadly as he looked away. He wished they looked at him that way.
"She's brighter than the blue sky." Midoriya comments with a loving sigh
She really had him mesmerized. If you only knew how much I liked you, Bakugou sighed too. He felt like his heart was dying. Again. Later when the blonde was all warm, Bakugou gave Midoriya his sweater back though, he really didn't want to let it go. The smaller thanked him with his usual big smile. It was the third of December when Midoriya gave him his sweater and Bakugou would never forget it.

Uraraka sat near the green haired hero on the couch wearing the same article of clothing Bakugou had worn the day before. Today was the fourth when Midoriya gave the brunette his sweater. A stupid piece of polyester really shouldn't matter, but it did. The blonde was just confused because about a month ago, Midoriya kissed him. If he didn't like the blonde, why would he kiss him? Maybe Bakugou shouldn't have told him not to kiss him. He was just in shock and the harsh words spilled out like they always do. It probably felt like rejection to the smaller. That is if he even liked Bakugou. Maybe Midoriya was just testing his skills on him. Maybe the smaller thought he isn't half as pretty as Uraraka and that's why Bakugou's in this situation.
"Deku, it's snowing outside. Let's go look!" Uraraka said standing up and grabbed his hand
"O- okay." Midoriya said with a smile as she pulled him up off the couch
The slightly taller stood up, keeping his smile as she let go of his hand. He put his arm around her shoulder and Bakugou suddenly felt colder.
"Yeah, let's go!" Midoriya said bright smile and all
Bakugou wanted to hate Uraraka, but how could he hate her? She was sweet and kind, an angel on earth. But as she walks by with Midoriya, in the dark parts of his heart, he kind of wishes she was dead.
"Guess you like her better." Bakugou mumbled eyes tearing up, fist clenching
He made a huge mistake and now it was too late, it's okay though. Midoriya gave her his sweater because he deserves better, but Bakugou can't help his thoughts.
"Wish I were-"
