“Ken-Ken,” Fukurodani's ace wiggles himself into Kenma’s futon. His feet are chilly, making the setter shiver and recoil. A small smile rises on the second year’s lips as he creates a foot barrier then wraps his arms around Koutarou’s midsection, making the third-year the little spoon.
“W’at you playing, K’en?” the little questions, staring down at the switch Kenma holds.
The second-year nuzzled his chin onto Bokuto’s neck to be able to see his device, “It’s a goose game.” Kenma’s voice softly hums, and most people wouldn’t be able to hear if they were three meters away, but likely Kou praises himself on his fantastic owl hearing.
Akaashi thinks he’s faking it, but it’s real.
Koutarou gasps at the sound of an Aves game. Aves means birds which must mean Owls. “Ken, owl r’ight?” the little is bouncing with excitement; well, he tries his best since he’s laying down.
“Uhh, no owls, Ko, only a goose,” the setter shares a sorrowful look with the owl-obsessed third year.
A pout settles onto Bokuto’s lips, and his eyes dip down, “G’ooses are cool too, ’m g’uess,” he whines out, still trying to stay positive.
“Geese, Ko,”
Kou’s nods eagerly as his eyes widen in amusement when the pudding hair setter presses button A to get the goose to…
“HONK”
“Ken, g’oose honk ,” Bokuto’s voice rasps as he lets out a nasally imitation of the cartoon goose. The decibels the ace hit causes Kenma to tense for a second.
“Please quieter,” the second year begs, hoping his soft voice inspires the little to create a quieter environment.
Again nodding, Koutarou lets out another honk just a little over a whispering volume.
“Thank you,”
“...honk,”
Geese aren’t too bad, but owls are definitely better, Koutarou thinks to himself.
