Bennett signed against Razor’s touch, watching as his hands traveled farther up his torso. His eyes quickly reached Razor’s, which were, in comparison to Bennett’s hooded ones, piercing and calculating, meticulously brushing against every inch of skin Bennett had exposed.
The boy squirmed under the attention, but Razor steadied his body by lowering his hands to Bennett’s hips, holding him in place.
“Bennett still, Razor help.”
Razor dipped his fingers into the wolfhook and continued to spread the fluid across Bennett’s wounded waist. His tongue stuck out in concentration as he gently applied the liquid. Its purple hue left Bennet’s tan skin stained maroon, surely to come off after after a couple of baths- hopefully. Bennett continued to wiggle.
“T-tickles,” he spoke in shallow breaths, lifting his hands to cup Razor’s cheeks. Razor leaned into the touch, nuzzling against Bennett’s scarred skin.
“I feel much better now, okay? Come lay next to me.” Bennett escaped from Razor’s grasp and laid in the soil, his heart pumping violently against his chest. The sun had set, welcoming a starry sky in its wake. Razor licked his fingers clean before laying beside the other boy, hand raised underneath his head as a make-shift pillow, leaning his body toward Bennett. Bennett shifted his body into Razor’s heat, sighing against the warmth shared between the two.
“Hey, Razor?” Bennett began, addressing Razor without moving an inch. Razor hummed in response, guiding his hand to Bennett's waist, tracing the burn mark with his finger tips.
“I don't ever want you to leave my side.”
Razor shifted his body as he nuzzled himself into Bennett’s, brushing his lips against the boy's neck, hot breath tickling his skin.
“Where Razor go? Bennett Razor Lupical, Razor never leave.” That word again, Lupical. Razor uses it to address all of his friends. Bennett’s selfish, however.
“I want to be your only Lupical. I wanna be the only one on your mind, Razor.”
Razor sighed in contentment, raising his head as he peered at the boy beneath him. Bennett’s face flushed a crimson against the dirt, his ears a bright hue of pink that tinted his skin.
“You are different from other Lupical. Benny Razor’s heart.”
“Your heart?” Bennett raised his head to look at Razor, acknowledging the gleam in his eye.
Razor nodded in agreement, wrapping his arms around Bennet’s chest. He placed his hand above the boy’s heart, feeling it throb beneath flesh.
“Your heart beat makes Razor happy. Razor’s heart beats for Bennett.” His hand traveled from Bennett’s chest to his cheek, lightly tracing over the skin of his collar bone along the way. “Razor protect Bennett, Bennett live for Razor.”
Bennet giggled beneath Razor's grasp, turning over to face him. “So like a contract.”
“Contract?” Razor questioned, pressing his forehead against Bennett’s.
“It's like a promise,” Bennett explained, feeling Razor’s hot breath against his skin. “One that can’t ever be broken.”
Previously, Bennett had never been fond of promises or contracts. This was, perhaps, the fault of those who abandoned him as a child. To Bennett, promises were much like weightless words, without meaning or real substance. After all, how could someone make a promise only to break it? He knew betrayal like the back of his hand and the front of his palm. Never had anyone truly wished to stay with him. Previously, he had no real hope of finding someone worth spending the rest of his life with. Perhaps, now, things could be different.
“Humans we- when we love someone, we have ways of showing it,” Bennett began, lifting his face from Razor’s to better read his expression. “We do physical things like hugging and- and kissing. Do you know what I'm talking about?”
“Razor does.”
“Do you,” Bennet flushed underneath his hands which covered his face in embarrassment, quickly looking back and forth from Razor to the soil. “Do you wanna do that stuff with me?”
Razor nodded, his sharp teeth glowing underneath the light of the fire, dancing and illuminating the boys in a soft orange hue. In one quick motion, Razor lifted himself up before gently pushing Bennett down into the soil, resting his hands on Bennett’s hips, leaning in slowly before finally, closing the distance between the two.
His lips were uncharacteristically soft against Bennet’s, moving in rhythm against his own. Bennett sighed into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Razor, who nibbled at Bennett’s bottom lip, tracing his stomach with his hands. His lips traced down Bennetts neck, nibbling the tan skin left for display in Razor's wake. Bennett’s shallow breaths and Razor's rhythmic panting filled the air, echoing in the dead of night. Bennett’s hands traveled up and down across Razor’s back, mapping out the tattooed skin.
Bennett had never imagined in his life that being intimate with another human could make him feel so whole. For years he'd wandered Teyvat alone, in search of treasures unlike any- it was his calling. Of course, he'd wished for a companion, someone to travel the world with. To visit Lantern rite with, or to glide with as the sun set across the countryside. With Razor in his arms, nuzzled deep into the crook of his neck, sweet dreams like those suddenly seemed much closer than he’d ever hoped.
