Chapter Text
Sam is a high school student, he is a senior and just wants to leave. Liam, on the other hand, is an "erotic dancer" he has to so he can support his dying mom who has no other family than him. They both wish they can leave their current situation.
Sam Garcia was openly gay, he didn't mean to be but when the woodwork student thought it would be funny to prank Sam and have their hottest guy try to pretend to try to date him Sam said, "I might be gay but I can tell when something is fake," he then thought the others were listening and almost jokingly said, "I can avoid thots when they approach me." Turns out the PA system was turned on and the entire school heard. He was only 14 when that happened, now he's 17 and has been through this hell they call a public school for 12 years only getting worse especially after "The Incident", he's almost out for summer and almost 18. only three months, in July on the 16.
Liam Davis is a dancer for the club called "The Black Ace" and only has a high school degree by chance because he was almost kicked out because of attendance. He is 22, he has had a bad life before currently, but at least he was able to get a well-paying job to help his mom. He loves her and wished he could help her in a way that truly mattered, he feels selfish He knows she is in pain and it would be better for her to pass so she could finally be calm and not have to worry about her wily son that always gets in some sort of trouble.
Boys, always seem to start trouble out of nowhere. At least these particular ones. One always coming home bruised, feeling under-appreciated and not loved. The other never smiling and seemingly emotionless.
They nearly never met. If one person hadn't stumbled out of his path they would've never met. Liam remembers the person's short hair pushed out of their face by the wind, looking up from their phone he met their striking eyes, them then sliding over and saying sorry. Then a sad-looking boy that he saw a second too late, sent them to the ground. He held out his hand to help the small boy up and took him in, he wasn't appealing, as people in romance novels would be, but he was familiar.
Little did either of them know that wasn't the last they would see each other. Sam knew he would have the mystery guy in his head all day, no one had given him attention for that long in a while. He thought it was for a reason because he was bland. he had brown shaggy hair, brown eyes, not caramel or a marble-like color that's appealing, just brown. That's all he was, brown, just a blob of brown.
Liam was a lanky guy not composed of much muscle but he was tall, he was 6'1" and towered over most people he met. He had grey eyes that were formally blue and dulled from life, black hair that he can never make stay styled so he just leaves it. He isn't very social but many find him attractive, which is good for his job but bad for the admirers because he isn't looking for anyone to disappoint or made sad. He had a plan, he would jump, on July 30th.
