“Minato-san, come closer?” — Sayo said as she stood next to her guitar case, Yukina on the other hand raised an eyebrow but without any hesitation did what the other girl asked for.
“What is it Sayo?” — Yukina looked up at the taller girl who just gave her a little warm smile that would always manage to make her heart race in weird rhythm that she quite didn’t understand herself.
And oh god, Sayo’s smile was beautiful and simply breathtaking yet she didn’t smile often, but the image of those lips that the vocalist always wanted to capture with her own, form into an upwards curve was worth treasuring forever, and if Yukina could she would gamble her soul away to see that smile until the last breath she takes: ironic since she never considered love as something worth investing into, yet there she was planning her life with Sayo, at this point probably every night before she goes to sleep.
“Nothing really” — Sayo’s answer was short and simple, then the next thing she did was brush Yukina’s lavender bangs away, the guitarist leaned in a little closer and placed the softest kiss possible on the vocalist’s forehead.
Yukina was left dumbfounded, crimson blush on her cheeks now certainly visible. She wanted to storm out the studio and never talk to Sayo again: 2 hours maximum. But how could she do that when the teal-haired girl was looking at her with so much love in those emerald eyes.
“V-very well” — vocalist stuttered making her girlfriend let out a small chuckle. Yukina turned around just so she could grab her bag and propose to Sayo to go home but as she was about to walk away the taller girl wrapped her arms around her waist, and with a chin that she placed on Yukina’s shoulder she spoke.
“Can we stay like that for a little longer?” — Yukina wanted to say no: because why would they make their friends wait any longer. Unfortunately the warmth of Sayo’s arms was too inviting, too irresistible.
“Cannot be helped I guess” — the shorter girl sighed out but relaxed in the embrace, it was comfortable and she loved comfortable things.
“Sayo... you was never too keen on physical affection, is there anything wrong?” — and yes you aren’t wrong, Hikawa Sayo would never in her life admit she loved to hold the smaller one in her arms, maybe that’s why she simply avoided physical affection: after all she had to remain as a stoic icon she was.
But she would lie if she said she wasn’t selfish, and most certainly she was when it came to Yukina.
“There is nothing wrong Minato-san” — The vocalist hummed in response and turned around, now facing oh so stunning Roselia’s guitarist, she cupped Sayo’s face and stood on her tiptoes placing a soft kiss on her girlfriend’s lips.
She was certain there was something wrong, but she didn’t want to force the girl stood in front of her to talk: if Sayo was ready she would speak up.
Yukina always believed in Sayo, she always trusted her, and understood her well maybe far too well, they both were similar in so many aspects it was only natural to understand each other the way they did.
Since the day they met both of them formed a strong bond, Yukina fell in love with Sayo’s guitar and Sayo fell in love with Yukina’s voice. Oddly enough it sounds like some kind of a perfect Disney story, and both of them were the type of people to never believe in half assed fairytales nor things like soulmates. But what they had certainly felt like it.
“Very well, but we should get going now... I don’t want Lisa and the rest to wait for too long” — Yukina smiled at the taller girl and before Sayo decided to let go of Yukina’s waist she placed another kiss on her forehead.
“If Minato-san says so” — and as those words left her mouth annoyed Lisa started knocking on the door telling the both of them to hurry up because Ako wanted to get ice creams on the way back.
“Let’s go Sayo” — Yukina stepped away from the taller girl but offered her a hand, the same hand that would guide her through darkest moments of her life.
