Work Text:
Munching on one of Mr. Delmar's sandwiches, Peter happily walks through the front doors of Avenger Tower. He moves towards the reception desk where he is greeted by the smiling receptionist.
"Hello, Peter," she starts, smiling at the boy as he finishes his sandwich. "It's nice to see you in here without an injury."
Peter nervously chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck as he slightly kicks at the ground, knowing that he really did injure himself quite a lot, and it was the main reason he actually went there.
"So what can I do you for?" she kindly asks, laughing gently at the teen.
He smiles and leans on the desk, like he had many times before, getting comfortable, as he knew the visitors pass would need to be found in the heaps of paper work. "I was actually coming to see Vision."
"Oh, that's wonderful!" she replies, smiling brightly. She then smirks and whispers, "Although he doesn't like to admit it, we can all tell he misses you, Pete."
Peter flushes slightly and chuckles again, smiling. The women laughs softly and starts rummaging around to find the pass, eventually finding it and handing it over to the excited teen.
Before the lady could get another word in, the boy rushes over to the elevators calling back a 'thank you!' before the doors closed.
The lady blinks a few times, trying to remember what she was going to say before he ran off, before stating, "Oh yes, I was going to let him know the Rogues were here today too. Oh well."

"Vis!" Peter squeals, his face flushed as he squirms in the arms that were securely wrapped around his waist.
Vision chuckles and pulls him closer to him, against his chest. "What? I thought you loved my hugs, Petey."
"I do," Peter whines, puffing his red cheeks out, like a child. "But not as soon as I walk in."
Vision hums, but doesn't let him go, only pulling him closer and burying his face in Peter's neck. Peter goes red and squeaks quietly, before calming down and gently wrapping his arms around Vision's.
The two stay there for a while, before Vision moves to stand up, leaving a soft kiss on the boy's neck. Peter giggles and turns to him, his head tilting as he looks up at the taller boy.
"What's the plan for today?"
"Well, as you unexpectantly arrived, I didn't have anything planned," Peter goes to apologise, before the synthetic smiles at him and continues. "Which is a pleasant surprise, Peter. So, how would you like to choose?"
Peter's eyes sparkle as he looks up into Vision's synthetic eyes, before making grabby hands as he mutters, "Movies and cuddles?"
Vision watches Peter's hands and his face scrunches in confusion. "What does that mean?"
Peter chuckles and smiles gently at him. The spider gently takes his hands and says, "It means that I want attention, cuddles or I want something. Babies usually do it before they can talk."
"Oh, thank you," Vision replies, smiling happily at the boy who was always helping him understand things, without being condescending or treating him like a machine. He then gently pulls the teen towards the living room sofa, who was giggling gently.
Vision sits down and picks up the remote controller for the tv while he pulls Peter into his lap. Peter smiles and nuzzles back into the synthetic's chest. Vision then turns the tv on to watch Star Wars, much to Peter's excitement.

"And this is the floor you guys will be sharing," Tony explains as he stops at the kitchen on that floor. "Everyone else is on the floor above, while me and Pepper are the floor above that."
The Ex-Rogues nods and looks around quickly, while the rest of the Avengers stand to the side and watch, before Wanda speaks up, "Uhm, Tony?"
"Yes?"
"Have you seen Vision?"
"Oh, I'm not sure where he is, actually," he replies, his eyebrows furrowing, as he would usually ran into his not-child-child by now. "FRIDAY?"
"Yes, boss?"
"Where's the son?"
"Vision is currently cuddling and watching movies, as requested."
"Oh okay-" Tony starts. "No wait, I'm sorry, what?"
FRIDAY goes silent, not giving away anymore information (totally not because the AI had also become attached to the spiderling).
Tony and Steve glance at each other, before they all start rushing towards the stairs, up to the floor above them. They quickly dash through the door and walk to the darkened living room. They spot Vision's shadow, also spotting a head peaking over his shoulder.
Tony signals to FRIDAY to turn the lights on, which she reluctantly turns on. Peter and Vision jump at the sudden light, their heads whipping around, greeted by the sight of all of the Avengers.
Peter's face whitens and his hand subconsciously grips at Vision's shirt, causing him to look back at the spider and gently rub his side to comfort him.
"Uh, who's this?" Tony asks, his arms crossing as he raises an eyebrow at his 'son'.
"It doesn't concern you," Vision replies calmly, still facing away from Tony, trying to keep the now hyperventilating Peter calm.
Tony glares at the back of his head. "Yes, it does. He's in my building and I don't even- Fine, you know what. FRIDAY, who is this kid?"
"Sorry, boss, but it doesn't concern you."
"Seriously, you too?!" Tony growls, clenching his fists at his sides as he lets his arms drop.
"Tony stop," Natasha snaps. "Can't you see the kid's freaking out?"
Everyone's attention then turns back to the two on the sofa, watching as Vision gently talks to the boy who was slowly calming down, only catching slight phrases like 'it's okay', 'you're safe' and 'they wont hurt you'.
Peter shyly looks back at the others and shyly says, "I'm sorry for freaking out like that."
Wanda was cooing at the adorable child, along with Scott and Bucky, Natasha smiling at him, too. Wanda rushes over and squishes the spider's cheeks, which were becoming warmer as his eyes widen.
Peter looks at Vision who nods at him, before he grins and hugs Wanda, making her coo at him more and Scott come rushing over to join them, squatting down beside him.
"is nobody even wondering who this kid is?!" Tony yells, getting angry that a stranger was in his tower. However, he snaps out of his anger as he watches the teen flinch and his eyes widen and water, his hands moving to hold his stomach.
Vision quickly moves to cradle the boy in his arms, looking at Tony with a deadly glare and he pulls him protectively to his chest.
"Shh, it's okay, he wont harm you again, Pete," Vision comforts, leaving a gentle kiss on his forehead, slowly calming down the spider. "Lets get you to the twins, they'll look after you as I explain, okay?"
Peter sniffles and nods, standing up and walking out with Vision, towards the medical bay.
After a few minutes, the synthetic comes back, his face straight and his expression hard. Everyone was sat in the living room, and Vision moves to stand in front of the tv.
"Explain," Tony says, his facial expression unreadable.
"That was Peter Parker. He's been coming over ever since 'Civil War', as the public call it," Vision explains.
"Why, and what did you mean that Tony wont harm him again?" Steve asks, his hands clasped in his lap.
"He's Spiderman."
Silence.
"What?" Bucky's face was pale and sullen, knowing how everyone had treated the spider hero.
"He's Spiderman and he's been coming here since he brought Tony back from Siberia, saving his life, even after Tony and many of you tried to kill him. He had the twins from medical heal him, and has continued to from that day. And he also comes over to keep me company, as so I can check to make sure he is staying safe," he continues. "However, as you now know who he is, I will not be permitting him to come here anymore, and I will not permit you to see him or contact him. If I ever find out you did, there will be consequences. And FRIDAY will make sure I keep that promise. Only Bucky, Natasha, Wanda and Scott are allowed to see him, as they did not try to harm him, and was kind to him. I will not allow the rest of you to harm him again."
And with that, he walked away, towards where he had left the spider-child.
