Makomo looked from the trees, "Sabito, do you think he can do this?" she asked. Sabito looked at her and examined the boy from above.
"He has the mark Yoriichi did, it's the mark of a true demon slayer. If he can break this rock, there's a bigger chance the hashira's will be able to defeat Muzan" Sabito replied, "Say, do you think he might be able to see us" he asked
"um... probably not" she said truthfully, but Sabito didn't care he hopped onto the rock with a wooden sword and the mask he got from Urokodaki. Tanjiro got startled.
Sabito didn't want to be rude, but this boy looked as if he could be knocked out by a flick of a demon, so this training would suck, "What have you been doing for the 6 months you've been given" he said harshly. Tanjiro remained silent in pure shock. "You have the look of child" he spat
"I-... I don't know" tanjiro said. makomo had an idea, she made the rock disappear
"Fight me. that's an order"
"But won't I hurt you" Tanjiro said.
Sabito laughed, "Im glad you're worried, but I don't think you can" he said with a hint of playfulness in his voice
All the hashira lie on the floor, holding their sides in pain. They were ready to live happily every after, though there's always something big that happens in those type of stories. The cleaners were helping tanjiro when suddenly, one let out a shriek of pain. Nezuko and Giyuu immediately shot up, though this isn't what they were expecting. "LET GO OF HER" Giyuu yelled, picking up his broken sword charging towards him.
"You seriously don't know who Muzan is?" Sabito said sweetly
"Nope" Tanjiro replied. Sabito laid down next to him on ground
"He is the strongest demon out there, they call him the demon king. "
"hey..um I've been meaning to ask a question"
"Yea?"
"How'd you die"
Shinobu looked up to Kanao and saw her holding her blinded eye, whilst reading for something. Tamayo looked from the Sade before yelling "GIYUU GET AWAY HE IS A DEMON" Giyuu's eyes widened before realizing he wasn't burning, in the same moment, Tanjiro threw him across the yard, letting out a roar. He'd already gotten a taste of human blood, who's to say he won't try to eat them. Nezuko ran to her brother and jumped his back bringing them both down to the floor. Still having half of her demon strength, she climbed on top of him and tried to hold him down.
"fight it oni-chan please!" she cried, this was her only family left. "we can have a happily ever after, just us and our friends!" she said. there was a flash of regret in Tanjiro's eyes before they went back to the same of Muzan's. "HE HAS MUZAN"S EYES" she yelled as he flipped them over, but instead of harming her, he was in a protective position, giving Giyuu a flashback to an old friend.
"I died protecting Tomioka Giyuu, he's probably a hashira by now"
The growls of Tanjiro were loud and clear, yet his eyes were trying to say something. Inosuke stood up and grabbed a rock, he hurled it at Tanjiro as well as one of his swords, 'I don't want to hurt you, please..go back to normal' he thought to himself. Instead of the sword piercing through his stomach, it only did small damage. "Tanjiro no!" Nezuko yelled, trying to snap her brother out of it. His eyes suddenly turned to a peach haired boy walking towards him.
"s-sabito" Giyuu whispered as he held Shinobu tightly, trying to restrict blood from escaping her damaged leg. The dragging of a dagger was followed by growling from Tanjiro.
"Kamado Tanjiro" Sabito said as stood tall. "Stand up and bring your ass over here" he said harshly, Tanjiro immediately scrambled off of Nezuko and ran toward Sabito.
"Are you crazy! He'll kill you" Zenitsu yelled
"He knows who's boss" Sabito replied. Sabito bitch slapped Tanjiro then grabbed his collar, "You're a fucking dumbass, I told you this would happen" he said before hugging him tightly. Tanjiro melted into the hug and the demonic eyes disappeared slowly. Sabito signaled for Kanao to inject the cure, she ran quickly and placed it in his side. He let out a cry of pain before collapsing onto Sabito. Sabito gently laid him down before standing up. He looked towards Inosuke and Zenitsu "How old are you two" he asked
"16" Inosuke said.
"15" zenitsu said clutching his side.
Sabito looked angry, "WHO'S IDEA WAS IT TO SEND A 15 YEAR OLD AND 2 16 YEAR OLDS TO BATTLE ONE OF THE STRONGEST DEMONS" they all pointed to Giyuu and Shinobu. "Tomioka Giyuu. You realize you almost died at the age of 14 in the final selection and yet you sent them here?!" he yelled.
"Well-"
"pft he almost died in the easiest battle" Iguro said, he could now talk. Both of them sent glares to them. Tanjiro shot up scarring everyone
"THAT WASNT THE DEMON KING" he yelled. Sabito laughed
"I was about to say that. Makomo was researching and there is two Tsugikun Yoriichi and Michikatsu Tsugikun, the most powerful duo of Demon Slayer Corps. Anyways I came to take Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Tanjiro to the hacienda mansion. The rest of you go to the butterfly mansion. I'd also appreciate if you didn't send my boyfriend to the front lines again" Sabito said picking Tanjiro up.
"Who's your boyfriend" Kanao asked.
"Tanjiro" Sabito replied, putting him on his back and held Zenitsu and Inosuke's hands as he walked away,
