So..."
"So what?"
"So it wasn't just the weird love bee magic thing - you really did like me?"
"....Correct, unfortunately I've been infatuated with you for some time now."
"I knew it! I mean look at me, how could you resist?"
Akko gestures dramatically to herself.
Diana sighs.
"How am I still attracted to you?"
"Honestly? I think it's pretty obvious, Little Miss Perfect-
Diana cuts her off.
"Oh really?"
Akko inches closer.
"Wanna bet?"
Their faces are inches apart, they could breathe each other in if they wanted to.
Diana lowers her voice to a hushed whisper.
"Akko-"
And the space between them closes-
Akko's hands wrap around her waist, Diana's head spins and her eyes close as her throat goes dry - it's a whirlwind of emotions as butterflies flutter around in Diana's stomach.
Akko pulls her in closer and Diana swears she can see stars, her hair is tousled and she feels as if she could pass out right then and there-
Diana's hands wrap around Akko's neck as she leans in further and-
She wakes up.
Diana can't afford to feel like that again.
Especially not as a member of the esteemed Cavendish family.
She hears her aunt's shrill alarm in the distance.
"Great," she thinks. "Another day of torture."
Can't be worse than yesterday at least.
Could it?

Students are quickly ushered into Luna Nova Academy - It's Assessment Day.
And whoever does not pass will have to pay the ultimate price - being expelled from one of the most prestigious witch schools in the country.
"Sucy! Where is she? That girl is insane!
Doesn't she KNOW what's happening today?!"
"Don't worry about her too much, Akko." Lotte responded.
"She'll arrive when she feels like it - she hasn't failed an assessment day yet - unlike someone else I know.."
"Oh shut it Lotte, the only reason I failed was for fighting that curse that had taken over the school that day,"
"I was there, Akko. I know."
"Anyways - this year I'm gonna crush it! With the power of Shiny Chariot by my side - There's no way I can lose!"
Sucy arrives in her uniform.
"What's up numbnuts?"
Akko runs up to her and pulls her and Lotte into a group hug.
"Yay! You're finally here!"
"You're..crushing..me.."
"You are hugging us pretty tight, Akko." Lotte blurts out.
The final bell rang.
"Girls!
Come inside immediately!"
They rushed inside.
