My love,
I have no words to describe what you mean to me, but I will try my best to do it anyway. When you came crashing into my life, I didn't know I needed you. Needed you more than anything. You are the missing lyrics to the melody you've been humming since you've entered my life. Your smile is the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever had the pleasure to witness. Your eyes as deep as the ocean, your hands, though so rough, yet so sincere. When you are with me I feel no more fear, when you are with me I know that everything will be fine. The first kiss, the first touch. The city was at our feet and if that's what you want, then I will bring it to its knees before you. I have lived many lives and loved many people. But no one can give me what you give me. I had nearly given up on me and you still love me unconditionally. You have answered a call that I did not even call out.
You drove away the shadows that had imprisoned me, in a cage of gold and glory. And loneliness. You are what makes my life worth living again. I want to change places with you, just for a second, so you can feel what I feel. So you can see what I see, hold what I hold.
The earth is quieter when you are not with me, is emptier when I don't hear your laughter. I want to give you what you give me. Want to guide you when you're stuck, want to be your destination when you're striding down your own path, want to hold your hand when you falter. I want to be your sun and your moon, I want to be with you in good times and in bad. I want to see you get your first gray hair, to see the freckles on your nose get darker. Want to be the one that causes the wrinkles at your eyes, want to be the one that can kiss any pain away. I want to be the first person you think of when something great happens to you, the shoulder you can lean on when you're not feeling well. I want to be everything for you. Just like you are for me. Dark Matter. You draw me in, never let me go, and if I drown in you, I do it with a smile on my lips. You saved me. Now let me save you.
"What is that my love?"
"Nothing", Kerry says as he closes the notepad. "Just some nonsense."
V smiled and kissed Kerry softly.
Oh, how he wished Kerry just knew how much V loved him.
