Gojo and Utahime had just started dating and he wanted to show her something amazing. Utahime was currently in Tokyo to submit some documents and why not spend the rest of her visit with her annoying boyfriend.
“Hey Hime, since it’s not work time anymore, and the sun is starting to set, can I show you something?”
“Hmm? Sure, wha-“
Gojo grinned and swooped her up in his arms, carrying her bridal style. Utahime was about to ask what her inexplicable boyfriend thought he was doing when they abruptly teleported to the sky. High above the city, overlooking hundreds of the buildings and towers that made up Tokyo, the two of them levitated in the air.
“G-Gojo, why are we up here?!?” Utahime was shocked and gripped Gojo’s clothes tight, eyes closed and face snuggled to his neck.
“C’mon Utahime, open your eyes, you’re safe in my arms~” Gojo teased. He then positioned himself more comfortably, casually sitting in mid-air on a nonexistent chair, Utahime tense in his hold.
She could feel the wind from up there and shes’s scared. She’s not afraid of heights but she's still startled, as anyone would when they're suddenly teleported to a high place. She’s seriously going to kill Gojo if he started letting go of his grip on her, even as a joke.
After a few moments and Gojo’s hand on her back, reassuring her that he’s there, and she’s sure he’s not going to drop her, she finally opened her eyes. Her mouth gaped open, she was shocked. What she saw was the most beautiful, astounding view of Tokyo. The sunset visible with the shade of orange to pink. Utahime had never seen a view this beautiful before.
“Like the view from up here?” Gojo snickered.
“This is what you have been hiding this whole time with your powers? This is amazing Gojo!” Utahime’s eyes sparkled in excitement. Gojo smiled to himself, happy that he could make the woman he loves look so joyful.
“The view is indeed amazing, but your smile is way better than this view...” She turned her face to him from watching the sunset and started to get red, she then hid her face on his neck. Gojo starts laughing from getting his girlfriend embarrassed.
“GOJO WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!?” Utahime shouted at him, still flustered. Gojo just kept on laughing while whispering “why are you so cute” which makes Utahime even more flustered. This flirt really knows what he’s doing doesn’t he?
After a few seconds, Utahime finally calmed herself down and absorbs herself with the surroundings, relishing the moment and the view. She appreciates times like this very much since she doesn’t see her boyfriend very much with how busy they both are and living in separate places doesn’t help at all.
“Aren’t you tired? Using your power to hover above the city like this? I don’t see you doing this at all so there must be a reason for that. If not you would just fly instead of walking.” Utahime was amazed by Gojo’s power of being able to float but she's concerned for his well being. Though she did giggle a little at the thought of Gojo just going around the school grounds floating in mid air.
“It is quite tiring but If I just stay still it’s fine. This is nothing for the greatest sorcerer anyway.” He winked at her.
Utahime just stared at him curiously and finally sighed. “If you say so then, the greatest sorcerer of the whole wide world. Just tell me if you want to go back okay?” The first half was said sarcastically but the latter with genuine worry.
From then on, they would do this whenever they have time to spare. Bickering and talking about life and mundane things, sometimes even just looking at the city view in a comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company, snacks at hand occasionally. The gentle breeze of the wind can be felt caressing their skins and the hustle and bustle of the city in the background as they watched the sun set
