Chapter Text
The light is pouring into your room, even though you had closed the blinds last night — though it interrupted your sleep, it looked aesthetically pleasing and refreshing after a night filled with twists and turns, along with some nightmares.
You prop your head up. You start scanning your eyes to the left — where Uraraka’s bed was set except.. she wasn’t there, yet again.
A sigh slips from your mouth and you quickly get out of your bed. You make your way to the bathroom door trudging your feet as you go; you rest your hands on the silver door knob, it slightly glistens and reflects your reflection although it was a tiny bit blurred and stretched.
You roll your eyes, somehow hoping that you’d be a different person today. With another helpless sigh, you finally open the bathroom door and scurry in. You carefully turn on the sink, cold water first — then hot, that’s how you liked it. You hated the feeling of hot water, but never knew why; maybe it was due to a past memory?
Grabbing your blue toothbrush, you quickly apply some toothpaste.. except that it had ran out. Shit, this day couldn’t have been better; you hastily whispered to yourself. Instead of brushing your teeth like the usual, you chugged some mouth wash and left it as that, it’s not like you’re going out any soon, right? After you finished your morning routine, which was mostly cleaning your teeth with either toothpaste or mouthwash, and washing your face. Even if your “skincare” routine was short, your face always seemed radiant somehow. Soon after, you felt a small headache coming in.
———————————————————————
Moments had gone by after you had brushed your teeth, now you were laying on your bed. Although you had expected it to be calming, flashes of memories take over your mind, memories of the worst day of your life — the day you had been dragged out of your house in handcuffs. . . you had been convicted of car theft, though you were completely innocent... after a while “those” memories finished flashing by. You feel another headache coming back and winced in pain.
———————————————————————
You yet again tried to take a another short nap — but you couldn’t. So you try doing the one thing you always calmed you down, cry yourself to sleep. Soon hot, salty tears escaped your sparkly [desired eye colored] eyes.
After a couple of minutes, the tears stopped. But you still had felt empty, something is missing, but you don’t know what. You slowly sat upright from your bed and picked up your phone from the night stand beside you, it wasn’t a fancy phone or anything, it was an old iPhone 5 that you stole from the lost and found section of your old school, Jirou (your old classmate) somehow found a way to hack it.
You opened up your phone, there were no new messages; but of course, you were expecting that. The only people in your contacts list was Uraraka. You had deleted all the old contacts after, well, after your “crime”. You didn’t want anyone to keep in touch with you, even if they knew that you weren’t the one that was involved in the school robbery. I mean you did steal some things. . . but you would never have thought of stealing some teacher’s car, let alone actually do it.
Many people accused you of stealing some student from class 1-B’s new sports car, but you hadn’t. But that doesn’t matter now, it’s all in the past. You have bigger problems to worry about now, such as getting a job and to move out of Uraraka‘s apartment.
You sigh again, but for the last time this day. You feel your eyelids get heavier and droopier; soon you fall down to your bed and doze off — this time, with no nightmares or a restless body.
