I am running towards Malfoy Manor, the place i am supposed to meet you.
It's been 3 months, barely 3 months... Since the second wizarding war ended. the ministry has decided they need to 'wash away' every trace the war left. so they will be on your doorstep in about 14 hours. When i saw your message i ran as fast as i could to get to you. i couldn't leave you alone on your last day.
as i came closer, more of the manor came into view, including you standing on the porge looking beautifull as usual. you counldn't read a single thing of off your face, clothes, stance or behavior. I wonder how you can look so... normal. it pains me to thats what your dad had shaped you into.
as i come to a stop in front of the manors gates i grap the handels and open the gates. i walk up to you, when i reached you you held out your hand, i took it following you inside.
We walk inside and sit next each other on the couch. You lay your head on my lap looking up at me with those deep gray eyes. you stay still, so i don't speak either. i don't want to disturp the piece you seemingly have made in your head. as we lock eyes you sit up wrapping your arms around me, you look me in the eyes and I see you fall apart, for the first time since court. i let you knowing you had been too strong for to long. later on we walk to the backdoor, " to see- to see the sunset" you explain, trying so hard to smile. I follow you, holding on to your hand. Standing next to you i can see your shoulders shake with silent sobs, this time you finally let me comfort you, I wrap my arms around your waist and hug you from behind, you lean into my touch. i turn you around wiping away your tears with my thump.
"Harry?" You say.
"Yes?"
"Promise me you will go when they come"
"Draco i- i can'y leave you here to them alone"
"Promise me"
"I" i hesetate, i know i can't keep this promise, but i decide to give in, for now" i promise".
You lock eyes with me, leaning in, i meet you half way closing the destance completely, the isn't rushed or needy but soft and gentle. we seperate panting, i take your hand leading you to your bedroom. i sit down pulling you into my lap laying my lips against yours once again. we keep it taht way for a long time till you pull away and stand up, walking towards the closet. you pull out a hoodie i know all to well, its the bithday present you bought me last year, although you ended up wearing it more then me, stealing it before i could even get it out of the laundry. you walk back towards me unfolding the hooding holding it out for me to put it on.
"Draco, are you sure you don't want to wear it?"
"yeah im sure, i wanne see you in your birthday present one last time"
i take the hoodie, slipping it over my head. you set your hands on my shoulders pushing me to lay down crawling over and setteling down with his your nose in my neck. thats how we fell asleep.
the magical alarm went off, it meant you still had half an hour.
we slowly sat up, seeing the ministry walk in. you got of the bed following after the guards. i followed after keeping a bit of distance. once at the top of the strairs you stop and turn around. you wait for me to catch up holding up your hand. i take your hands in mine and feel you drop something into my palm.
you walked further down and got into place, waiting for everything to get set up. 5 minutes.
Wand was pointed at draco and now it was waiting until the clock chimes.
That instand i make up my mind, breaking past the guards and running down the stairs and just when the clock ticked and the curse was said I reached draco pulling on this wrist pulling him in for a kiss.
The curse missed, and everyone was in shock. When draco and I parted I didn't let go and pulled him so close he almost got crushed.
"No" I shouted "this is cruel and unnessesary. you'll have to go though me"
But before anyone could respond, the wand was pointed at us and the curse was screamed, I turned us around so fast draco couldn't do anything about it. I pushed him away and the curse hit me.
