Hongjoong let out a big yawn. He glanced at his phone, checking the clock.
1.35 a.m
Hongjoong chuckled. "No wonder I'm so sleepy," he thought, and he stood up from his chair. He had been staying at his studio after the group practice ended since 10.00 p.m, and he hadn't take a break from working on his new composed song for the next album.
He walked outside, expecting the lights of their company already turned off but a light seeping through the space under the door of their practice room made him turned his head. He walked to their practice room, wondering who was staying as he thought his members already went back to their dorm. Then he saw someone sleeping on the floor.
Hongjoong walked closer to the figure, smiling when he realized it was Wooyoung. The younger curled himself on the floor, his hands sandwiched between his legs. Hongjoong figured out that the younger probably felt cold, so he took of his jacket and covered Wooyoung's body.
Hongjoong was about to move Wooyoung's bangs from his face when suddenly, he heard a mumble.
"Everything is fine, mom,"
Hongjoong's hand stopped moving, eyebrows raised when he heard another mumble.
"I told you not to worry about me,"
"Is he...sleep talking just now?" Hongjoong whispered to himself. He pulled his phone from his pocket before opening his voice recording app and clicked the record button.
"I'm doing fine but one of the hyungs keep teasing me," Wooyoung mumbled.
Hongjoong tilted his head confusedly. He grinned when suddenly he got an idea, head leaning to Wooyoung's head and whispered to the younger's ear. "Who?"
"Hongjoongie-hyung," another mumble left Wooyoung's lips.
"Why do you think he do that?" Hongjoong tried to hide his laugh when Wooyoung answered his question again.
"I don't know, I'm just trying to get closer to him though," Wooyoung mumbled again, now with a pout plastered on his face. Hongjoong tried so hard not to squeal at the sight, but then he thought he had enough and decided to go back to his studio.
It wasn't even ten minutes passed when someone knocked on his door, he turned around and saw Wooyoung peeked his head.
"Hyung, did you entered the practice room earlier?" Wooyoung asked, which Hongjoong hummed. "Why didn't you wake me up?"
"You looked so tired, I didn't have the heart to," Hongjoong focused back to his computer.
"By the way," Wooyoung walked in and put Hongjoong's jacket on the older's lap, "Thank you, it's really warm,"
Hongjoong hummed, his eyes still focused on his monitor. "Why are you still here? Aren't the others went back already after we finished practicing?"
"I planned to practice a bit more but turned out I'm too tired that I ended up sleeping," Wooyoung said while awkwardly rubbing his neck.
"You should go back to the dorm, then,"
"Can I stay here, hyung? We can go back together later, also...I want to watch you working," Wooyoung plopped himself onto Hongjoong's couch.
"Why are you so clingy today?"
Wooyoung shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, maybe it's because I dreamed about you earlier?"
"Okay, just wait for a bit, okay? I almost done with this part today,"
"Take your time, hyung. I'll just make myself comfortable here," Wooyoung answered as he stretched his body.
"Anyway," Hongjoong spun his chair and stared at Wooyoung. "You need a new background song for your content, right?"
"How did you know, hyung??" Wooyoung asked, his eyes widened.
"Just a guess? You can tell me if you need anything to help for your content, though,"
Wooyoung frowned. "Okay, something's weird,"
"What's weird?" Hongjoong asked.
"Like...you don't usually like if I'm clingy to you and..."
"But I thought you're just trying to get closer with me?"
Wooyoung let out a huff. "Yeah I know but...huh? Wait,"
"You were sleep talking earlier," Hongjoong pulled out his phone from his pocket and played his recording of Wooyoung sleep talking in the studio earlier.
Wooyoung eyes widened, his cheeks started to blush and he covered his face with his hands. "Why did you record it?? That's embarrassing!"
Hongjoong laughed. He stopped playing the recording and turned off his computer, before walking to his couch and poked Wooyoung's arm.
"Now, how about we go back to the dorm by ourselves so we can get closer, hmm?"
