April 12th marks the day that Kaito and Kazuichi got together, it also was the day that Kaito was born. So since they confessed and got together on that day they both decided to go see the movie, “Paranormal Activity.” As much as Kazuichi hated horror movies or any movies that could give him a shiver down his back, he wanted tonight to be for his boyfriend so he would tolerate it just for tonight.
As night was coming, the two were getting ready and they had to be there at 9 or else they would have to wait until 12 for the next screening of the movie. Once they were up and ready to go, Kazuichi checked the directions to the movie theater to see that the movie theater had to be closed for an incident that happened just thirty minutes ago.
“What the hell?!” The mechanic yelled, bringing his hands to his face.
“What's wrong? What happened?” Kaito asked as he stood over Kazuichi.
Kazuichi looked up at Kaito with a nervous Look, “Um… See… What happened was that some damn incident happened at the movie theater so now we can't go.”
“Also it looks like it was going to rain so that's a plus” he added sarcastically.
“That's Fine”
“Not it's not!, I planned something special for you since you love horror movies and all, but something had to come and fuck it up!”
To Kaito it wasn't a big deal, I mean he could do this any day of the week so why was today so special? But from what he was seeing it meant a lot to Kazuichi and seeing him upset because he wanted to do something special for him out of the many things he did for him showed him that Kazuichi really cared.
“Look.” Kaito said as he lifted up his chin;seeing that his eyes were kinda red from crying a bit.
“I don't care for some dumb horror movie. If you're by my side I don't care what we do, it could be pretending that we are superheroes and I wouldn't care, don't stress yourself out okay?”
“O-okay”
“Alright! So no more crying, I don't like to see my sidekick cry” said the astronaut as he wiped his boyfriend's eyes of those dreadful tears.
Once the two unclothed their outside clothes into something more comfortable, Kaito was preparing the popcorn and getting a few snacks as Kazuichi was searching for the movie they were supposed to watch. Once everything was in place the two snuggled up to each other as the movie began to play.
As the movie was playing, Kaito noticed that Kazuichi was kinda shivering and he kept moving closer towards him. He didn't pay no mind to it since it might be a thing he just does when watching movies, but it constantly kept happening and it was when suspenseful parts occurred and that's when it hit him.
“Are you getting scared?” Kaito asked
“PFF- no, of course not, I'm just cold that's all” Kazuichi replied as he continued to watch the movie.
“But we have the cover on us and you have me”
“Well…never mind then, it's nothing. Not like this movie is sac-AHH”
Before finishing his sentence he got scared and hid into Kaito’s chest. Collecting what just happened he immediately separated himself and tried to brush it off but that didn't work since the Astronaut started to laugh.
“SHUT UP” Kazuichi said as blush appeared on his face.
“That was priceless!, and now who said they weren't sacred?” Kaito teased.
The mechanic pouted and wanted to scare Kaito just for making fun of him but knowing him, that's not an option. Throughout the
rest of the movie, Kazuichi was clinging to Kaito and looked away whenever it was a near jump scare or the tension got too intense.
Kaito thought that this was very cute that his boyfriend needs him to feel safe during a horror movie and will forever tease him about it.
Once the credits rolled Kazuichi gave out a big sigh and thanked that the movie finished, but on the other hand Kaito was falling asleep and knowing his boyfriend he would be paranoid to be alone to fall asleep by himself. So he pulled the mechanic close and gently stroked his hair in order to fall asleep.
It took a while, but Kaito was able to put Kazuichi asleep and fell asleep a few moments after. But what Kaito didn't know was that Kazuichi woke back up again but only to admire the man he had in front of him.
“Happy birthday and Anniversary Mr. luminary of the stars” Kazuichi whispered before going to kiss him on the forehead and falling back to sleep.
