Good morning, diary! It is always a good morning at the Happy Hotel! I know that everybody is calling it Hazbin Hotel now but I still prefer the old name.
It has already been a while and I know that everybody is doing their best to reach redemption. But that unpleasant voice of doubt periodically comes up in my mind with a terrible question: “Are we doing enough?” But my friends don’t give this voice a chance, and I am deeply grateful to them for that.
Vaggie… my friend for as long as I can remember. We went together through thick and thin and I am grateful to the powers above who brought us together. I will never leave her. And I know she will do the same for me.
Alastor – he’s complicated. I wouldn’t go so far as to call him a friend. Currently, he is more of a business partner. He had really helped by bringing Husker and Nifty to the hotel. But his true motives are still a mystery to me. Still, I am glad that he is helping.
Angel Dust – out first and only official resident. I know he is trying his best but he is still a heap of trouble. He still goes to “work”, he still hangs out with the demons like that Cherri Bomb character. And he still gets into little fights with Vaggie and Alastor. I do my best to defuse such situations, but I feel that it is slowly getting to me. Sometimes I find myself questioning his dedication. But I can’t blame just him, especially with that bastard of a boss that is known as Valentino. Maybe I should talk to my dad on his behalf.
The plus side about Angel is that I have seen him interacting with Husker in an unusual manner. It would be interesting to see how that works out. And that pig of Angel’s, Fat Nuggets, is so cute! He won a place in our hearts without even trying.
Ah yes – Husker. He is the one that Alastor brought to manage the bar. Unfortunately, we haven’t talked much yet. He is the strong silent type and a heavy drinker. And a chimera. I can feel he is hiding something, perhaps a bleeding heart, but I don’t want to push. Still, he is now a resident of the Hazbin Hotel, so I am tremendously happy to have him here. Plus, his interactions with Angel Dust can bring interesting and unexpected results for all of us.
And last but not least – Nifty. She is the second of Alastor’s companions that he brought to help keep this place clean. She is a little eccentric, but otherwise, one of the sweetest demons that I have met. And she has been a great help already. I am happy to have her here.
I think it is enough for now. It is a new day, full of opportunity. And I need to seize it. Till next time, diary!
