"everybody make sure to listen up to the details of..." The monotonous voice of the teacher blended into the background, covered by the murmering of listless students.
George was sitting at the back of the class, trying to distract himself with whatever he had. His desk was covered with random pieces of papers planning for the upcoming holidays.
He tries to keep focus on the valuable information about next week but all he could think about is how tired he was.
Lazily scanning the room, his eyes land on dream, who was sitting beside him. His eyes filled with anxiety and exhaustion, from numerous sleepless nights and the never ending piles of essays. Dream was fiddling with his hands, shoulders hunched and tense with his eyes focused on a random wall.
Instictually, George put out his hand in front of dream, almost like a wordless offer. Dream noticed this and and immediately took it, placing his hand in George's. George took his hand and started mindlessly playing with it. Massaging it or drawing random shapes onto his palm. He could visibly see the tension in dream slowly dissipate.
"I hope you all took note of the details, remember to check into the cabin with your respective buddies when you land and have fun"
George took note and looked at Dream, being met with his yellow (but green) eyes. Dream gave George a tired smile. George laid his head on dream shoulder, the heat and humidity of the afternoon worsening his tiredness.
They laced their hands together, content with their break being accompanied by each other.
