Notes:

So..... I'm kinda not good with words.

A very short idea.

Chapter 1: Is it?

Chapter Text

Timmy knows he's back the moment he pulled his fishing rod to him. Armie felt the change on his mate and and he eyed him with concern.

It's a cloudy Sunday afternoon. Him and Armie was spending the day by the river when he felt a familiar shift in the air. The sky turned dark. It's as if something big is covering the earth and it's directly above them. Flock of birds flew, fast, like they're frantic about something; and then it's silent.

Too silent.

Timmy suddenly can't hear the flow of the river, the rustling of the trees, or the voice of his mate asking him if everything's alright.

No.

He's back. The most powerful mage in Celestia. And he's coming. Three years after Timmy managed to escape that place, he was starting to learn how to live a normal life.

He knew it was too good to be true.

He was not expecting for the best after coming out of his prison, but that's exactly what he got. And he couldn't be more grateful for the gods for this amazing gift.

He met his other half after a tiring day of venturing the forest. Armie was an unexpected person in his life. Loving him was even more unexpected but it’s one he is most thankful for. But they have to run.

He clasp his mate's hand tightly on his and tugged. "Come on."

"What is happening, Timmy? Are you okay?" He knows he isn't by the way he's crushing Armie's hand tightly, as if he's going to disappear like a bubble if he won't.

That, and he's looking at him with such terror, his eyes were starting to glow bright, and his lips tugged between his teeth.

"No. We have to go. He's back. Hold my other hand."

"Who's back, Tim? You're scaring me."

"Jason."

In two years they've been together, he's never seen Timmy this scared. Sure, he’s not exactly the most powerful mage, but Timmy was brave. So to see him like this is disconcerting.

So Armie took both of his mate's hands in his, and breathed.

He knows that whatever happens, he's going to protect him.
He closed his eyes, and then they're back home.

Armie is already running upstairs, "Get everything we need. Hurry!" and wasted no time packing.

Timmy knows running away will not guarantee safety, but it's the only choice they’ve got.

There was a sudden shift in the place, he kept still. Timmy felt the air thickens, somethin heavy. And then he heard it, growling.

He left everything he was doing and ran upstairs. His heart was beating so hard, one would think he's going to faint. Oh, please no.

A final step, and he saw him.

His eyes were met with the ground full of torn clothing, Armie with his giant black wolf, claws out. And by the balcony, the pool of red eyes of his former mate.
