It was just like any other day, or how it's supposed to be whenever they got the chance to hangout. Xiao Zhan was excited, him and Yi Bo haven't seen each other in months, but nothing really prepared him for this...
"You're joking right, Lao Wang?" Xiao Zhan questions, he had the urge to fist his hands, anything to keep himself steady, 'cause nothing really will ever prepare him for this.
"No, Ge. I only came here to tell you this, I know how cruel it'll be if we've talked about this over the phone, and that's why I'm here." Yi Bo answered. Xiao Zhan can see the other person trying not to sound so done about their talk, but failing. He can feel the younger fidgets, like he doesn't really want to be there, but needs to, because Yi Bo is nothing but an honest person.
"You mean all this time, you were thinking that I-," he stutters, "that I'm only also acting?" Xiao Zhan is at lost, and suddenly he felt a jab of pain somewhere in his chest, when realization hit him, "Were you? Lao Wang, were you just acting? Was everything," Xiao Zhan cleared the lump in his throat, he was stunned but found himself laughing instead, a laugh he wish he'll only ever do while in set acting a role that is so hurt he's laughing mockingly at himself - "So it was, huh."
"The show's long been over, with it ends the fan service, Zhan-ge. You don't have to pretend now. We don't have to anymore, Ge." Xiao Zhan was never into hitting anything or anybody, but the urge to punch something cursed through his veins at that moment.
Xiao Zhan was the older one, he knew better not to let his emotions take over. But before he can collect himself, his arm moved on it's own, and clutch at the collar of Yi Bo's shirt.
"I never was, asshole!" He was mad, he used the hand that was clutched on the younger's shirt to push him away, as he added, "So much for being an honest person, huh, Wang Yi Bo?"
Yi Bo was stunned. It was not the first time he saw Xiao Zhan angry, but the pain and fury he saw in the older's eyes, made his gut ache, he scrambles for words, "I- Listen- Good- Ge- No-" He tried to reach out.
The words Wang Yi Bo heard next made him lose feelings all together.
"Rest assured," Xiao Zhan uttered, as he fixes himself, "I understand, the act is over now, so will everything else. You can see your self out."
