Chapter Text
Katsuki Bakugo was the most FUCKING demanding literature teacher at UA High School.
He was so strict that his entire group of 3rd years knew they were going to fail the moment That Man walked into the classroom.
And he wasn't one of those typical teachers who wore a tie, suit and brought a briefcase to school with all his notes and his own markers to teach the new generations via hitting them... No. He was a man who wore leather jackets, blue jeans, band t-shirts both new and old, and possessed a GOD level sense fashion, who will break your spirit just with fucking words, and had a fucking angry aura all over his body that just made his students feel chills just by looking at him.
"You all are fucking late, idiots. Two points less. And don't dare to complain cause I'm on a fucking good mood today and I don't want to hear you whining."
You see, the students had to be silent: No talking unless he asked you too, not even sneezing was allowed. They must be paying attention to absolutely everything that Doctor Bakugo's told them and read entire books from one class to another if the class made him angry, and if he was on a good mood he might just let them a chapter of a book as boring as looking at a wall waiting for the paint to get dry... And of course, he always asked for a written summary in Times New Roman point 12 spacing of 1.5 without spacing between paragraphs, all written by the sudents. With Every. Single. Book.
It was a total torture, especially because the other literature teachers that class 3A had in the past three years, were the typical ones who spend hours and hours talking about themselves and let them just chill in class.
And it didn't helped that they barely knew ANYTHING about the man, making him look like anything but human to those kids. They just knew he was... barely 26-28 years old, graduated with honors from the University of Tokyo (according to what he said at the beggining of the year), with a Ph.D but they didn't knew in what (some speculated that he was a doctor in languages and others that he was a doctor in philosophy and letters), he liked rock music (knowing this just because of the whole aesthetic the man had), he liked order and silence (and if you didn't gave him order and silence, he would fucking end your life in the spot), and that he is gay AND single...
From then on, nothing.
But hey, not everything was so bad. At least after that tortuous class they had physics with the kindest teacher in UA: Izuku Midoriya.
Midoriya was the complete opposite of Bakugo, except maybe on his demand for the students... But his classes were so enjoyable that all the students did their best to keep his good mood and keep the fun in classes. I mean, Which teacher asks you to BUILD a catapult with trash? And then make a competition on which one throws balls of paper the farthest?! Or which teacher makes you do physics excersises with SUPER HEROES!? Like "All Might jumped high enough to get into the top roof of a 200 meters building.Calculate the force he had to use to reach the ceiling". For real he was the best.
Also, they knew more about this man with green curls and freckle,s so they at least knew he was a human (a really brilliant and gentle and kind one, by the way): he was 28, graduated with honors from Kyoto University with a Ph.D. in astrophysics, had studied at UA high when he was their age and came back to teaching for love of art. Also he was a tutor in several important projects for the physics department of JAXA (basically, the Japanese NASA). And he loved superheroes, if it wasn't noticeable for his typical superhero t-shirts he always used on school. And he also was a very helpful person... Enought to actually know Katsuki Bakugo and not be hated by the gremlin teacher.
"Doc Midoriya!" A girl with white hair greeted the teacher as soon as she saw him enter. She had a book in her hands.
"Hello everyone! Hi Eri!" He greeted his students kindly, arriving at his place. He saw his students and frowned, none of them looked up from the book they were holding. "Uh... Are you guys okay?" He raised an eyebrow. A boy with brown hair and freckles was on the verge of tears as he tried to jot something down in his notebook. "... Did something happen with Kac-I mean, Dr. Professor Bakugo?" None of them answered. "Eri?" He turned to see the white haired girl, who looked up from her book again pouting.
"Well... I would say it was the usual but..." She closed her book, passing a hand through her long hair and starting to tie it in a messy bun. "W-We have an exam in two weeks but Professor Bakugo got angry today because Katsuma-kun didn't read the chapter of the book that he left us and now he made the whole class read the entire book for tomorrow"
"Oops, that sounds bad..." He bit his thumbnail for a few seconds. "Katsuma-kun, why didn't you read your book? Did you do your homework for this class?" He turned to see the kid who was about to have an anxiety attack right there.
"I-I... Eh ... I-I couldn't do homework yestarday..." He said looking away.
"Do you have any explanation?" The greenette raised an eyebrow.
"I-I had to take care of my dad yeste-yesterday" Little by little as he spoke, he heard his sobs.
The freckled greenette ocouldn't help but pat him on the shoulder to try and calm him down.
"Easy, Katsuma-kun, it's not the end of the world."
"Oh, yes it is, that moron is going to make us all screw in the exam we have in two weeks with the explody-boy we have as a teacher" A voice was heard near them. The murmurs of the students started louder to the point that Izuku raised his posture in front of everyone and said:
"Quiet." Automatically everyone fell silent. The man turned to see the kid who spoke: a boy with black hair wearing a red cap. "I want to know why you said that, Kota-kun?" The boy rolled his eyes shamelessly.
"Everything that doctor Bakugo makes us read comes in his stupid exams for what I've heard. If he makes us read more, I know that no one is going to pass this exam, neither the second nor the third, and we will ALL have to repeat, just cause the freaking teacher likes to make his exams in a compilatory way" The boy grumbled, leaving the book on his bench.
"Uh, that doesn't sound very good, but don't loose hope, you just gotta study your notes very well... What book did he made you read now?"
"Shakespeare" The girl with white hair answered, handing him the book: It was a compendium of 3 plays by the playwright: Hamlet, The taming of the Shrew and a midsummer night's dream.
"Do you have to read all this for tomorrow?"
"Yeah..."
"At least I've already saw the lion king movie so I know what Hamlet is about" Kota said.
Izuku couldn't help but laugh at the boy's comment. 'Well, it is an adaptation to the original work, it will surely make it easier to read. Although I recommend that you start better with the Taming of the Shrew, it is a little easier, there are also movie adaptations and they are not so bad"
"Uh, Midoriya-sensei, do you like Shakespeare?"
"Who doesn't?"
"Could you please tell us what that one is about? Professor Bakugo just tells us "read it so we know what it's about" and always leaves us like that"
"Uh well... It is about a man who has two daughters, the eldest is a very angry young lady that doesn't accept any man who can marry her, and the second wishes to marry but her father forbids it until the oldest gets married. A boy falls in love with the youngest and tries to conquer her, and in the process he finds out about the situation and meets another boy who wants to make the older one fall in love, so they end up helping each other and the older one ends up calming down her attitude and they all marry each other. It's actually a fun story". Hearing that, Eri opened her eyes... Uh, this gave her an idea.
When it was time for recess, she gathered her friends on a table. "Guys we have to do something to make Professor Bakugo lose his temper and get fucking calm"
"I don't have time for that. I already screwed up my day and-and now I have to make my sister take care of my dad today so I can do all the homework..." The brown-haired one said with a frown.
"That's exactly why we have to do something!" Eri said, pointing to the brunette.
"And how the hell are we going to do that? Surely the bastard is going to find out or something" Kota said, rolling his eyes.
"Well, Midoriya-sensei unconsciously gave me an idea today thanks to Bakugo-sensei's book" The girl said, smiling a little. Both boys stared at her, Kota frowned while Katsuma cocked his head. "Remember the summary he gave us about the taming of the shrew?"
"... You wouldn't dare" Kota said automatically, frowning in disgust.
"Yeah I dare. My dad is going to kill me if fail, and my other dad is going to yell at me if I screw up this class" Eri clenched her fists. "We need to pass the subject! I mean we don't do a bad job but the teacher seems to need some dick to calm the fuck down!"
"Ew don't say it that way, Eri!" Katsuma covered his ears in disgust.
"Eri you went too far with that phrase, ew, don't fuck around" Kota made a gesture of wanting to vomit, but then... "Besides, what kind of person would like to go out with Professor Explosion?! And above all to calm him down?!"
"We shall find someone" Eri shrugged. "There's always someone crazy enough to want to love someone as crazy as prof B, we just have to find someone... Maybe someone from the school or someone outside"
"And what would the other person win with this? I mean if the person breaks prof B's heart don't you think it would be worse for us? And him?" Katsuma made a grin.
"Well, the lucky one will get a boyfriend. And our undying thanks" Eri blinked ultra-tenderly. Kota outed thibking.
"If I'm honest, this sounds like a bad idea... but that man isn't going to leave us another choice" Katsuma said, sighing. "We have barely been two weeks on this school semester and I already feel that my dark circles are worse than when the doc Mido made us do that catapult that left us without sleep for two days"
"Aaaaah but that project was really fun~" Eri smiled sheepish.
"And it was also our fault to do it last minute" Kota shrugged his shoulders.
"Yeah..."
"... Speaking of Prof Midoriya, do you think he is a good match for Prof Bakugo?"
"Whut?"
"I mean, he's super nice and sometimes I've seen them together in the hallways..." she pouted.
"... Uh, now that you mention it... Do you remember what Doc Midoriya told us the other day?"
"What?"
"Prof B and him have been friends since childhood. He said he used to bully him but that now they were really close friends again..."
"... And he said it with a dreamy air, didn't he?" Kota's eyes widened.
"Yes Yes Yes" Eri smiled.
"And doesn't it seem that Prof explody-boy always blushes when they are together?" Kota smiled a bit sinister.
"YES" Eri nodded. "He's always correcting himself when calling him, it's as if he had a nickname for him"
"I heard once calling him 'Kacchan'" Kota pouted.
"... Wait wouldn't this mean that they already know each other? That would make Doc Midoriya not be suitable for this thing you're making..." Katsuma frowned.
"You mean, like they are already dating?" Kota raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah? I mean..."
"They're both single" Eri said, checking his cell phone. "Doc Midoriya has on his Facebook profile that he's single" She showed them the screen smiling. "And everyone in school knows prof B is single. And gay."
"And if they were in a relationship, the rumours would be really wild" Kota smiled. "To be honest, it does seem like the prof explody-boy lacks some love in his life" Kota smirked. "... Then, Will we tell Prof Mido to try to conquer him or what?" "I say yeah, he might think it's a joke but I don't think he'll get mad at us for asking him... And what do you think, Katsuma-kun?"
He pouted. "Well... II might not have anything to lose now..." Katsuma played with his fingers. "M-Maybe it could be a good-good idea... No it's a bad idea, but... It could be at least fun?" he sighed. "But I'm still not sure... how will we do it?"
"Oh, with the K.E.K team up mission! Our mission will be called..." Eri thought for a few seconds and then smiled sideways. "Mission Bakudiya!"
"Ew that sounds horrible" Kota said with a mocking smile.
"Do you have a better idea, watery boy?"
"Uh ... I think I once heard Prof B call Doc Midoriya, Deku..." Katsuma replied, smiling a little.
"... Mission: Bakudeku!" Eri said, getting up from her place and raising a fist, smiling.
"Mission Bakudeku!" Both boys responded instantly.
