A Shaaking AdVENTress

Summary:

Shaak Ti and Asajj Ventress meet again on Kamino...but will their fight turn into...something more?

Notes:

I'm rubbish at writing slash, but I love this silly pairing and had to spit it out, so if you like it too or think there's something else I should read please leave a comment :)

Work Text:

Asajj Ventress landed silently inside the Kamino cloning station. Skulking through the halls, she avoided patrol guards and creeped up to the the embryo room door, which hissed opened.

“Ventress.” The Jedi stood on the other side of the door, her blue blade held at the ready.

Ventress ignited her first lightsaber.

“Shaak Ti.”

The two stared each other down for a moment, then both struck at once. Ventress reached for her second weapon, but Shaak Ti was too quick and redirected the hilt so it landed far away from both of them.

Ventress force-backflipped, landing near her lightsaber, which shot into her hand, and ran at Shaak Ti.

The Jedi master easily blocked her blows, but allowed the apprentice to press forward, chasing her backward into the next room and adjacent hallway.

Slashing blades whirred through the air, blue and red blending together, until they reached the door Shaak Ti had been aiming for the entire time. Spinning a leg beneath Ventress, then using her body weight to send the Sith-wannabe flying, Shaak Ti flipped and landed with her knee pinning Ventress to the floor, sabers clashing, but the Jedi had both gravity and leverage on her side. Their faces were close enough to each feel the breath of the other. Then suddenly, the Jedi stood and took a few steps back.

Shaak Ti shut off her lightsaber and leaned casually against the doorframe, inspecting her nails.

“Soooo, this is my place.”

Ventress slowly picked herself up from the floor, winded.

“You want to come in?”

Ventress gazed into those gorgeous eyes. She took a step toward the Jedi, her lit lightsaber lowered to her side, and ran a finger up Shaak Ti’s bare arm. Ventress strutted through the door, threw her lightsabers across the room, and turned to face Shaak Ti.

“There’s just one rule.”

“I know, I know,” Ventress said, “No attachments.”
