Chapter Text
He didn’t think she was capable of this, no. He always thought only one of them would be the villain in this story, him or Veronica. Not both though. He picked up the small gun and aimed it at his girfriend, using his good arm that wasn’t bleeding out.
The gun was pointed at her stomach, and as much as he didn’t want to be responsible for her death, he didn’t want her to get them both in trouble. He was thinking maybe murder-suicide, or something like that. Something that wouldn’t get one or both of them in trouble.
He listened to the girl ramble on and on, why she was not going to let the school remain intact. Why she needed this to happen, why she wanted to achieve something on her own for once. All while she kept her own gun pointed at him as well.
JD was finally fed up with her bullshit, and then a bang filled the room. She had been shot, right in the center of her stomach. Before she could fall down to the boiler room ground, she let out a weak whine. “I was going to return this dress, JD.” She furrowed her eyebrows at him and he frowned.
He already regretted shooting her. “I’m sorry-“ JD apologized, and she shook her head. And before he could ramble on about how they had to do some good, about how he changed his mind about blowing up the school because of the lack of attention it was going to get, he felt a sharpness hit his side.
She shot him that second time, and he immediately fell down beside her.
This was the end of them. The end of Jason Dean. The end of Veronica Sawyer. And due to a mutual agreement as they lied on their death “bed”, as well as the end of Westerburg High and evey student that belonged to it.
