"Appa, can we eat spaghetti tonight?"
A nod of the head. The little Jooheon looked very pleased with the answer.
"Can Kyunie eat with us too?"
Another nod. The child was ready to go back to his room when his father suddenly turned around, eyes wide open in fear.
"Wait, who's Kyunie?"
"My friend, appa. I met him at school today, and he said he didn't wanna eat vegetables tonight so I bought him here!"
While Jooheon was smiling, Kihyun's face fell completely. What? There was another child in his home and he didn't even notice?? How did the child even get in his car without him noticing?
Ah, right. He had been in his thoughts all day long. The job was taking over him a lot, lately.
"Sweetheart, is your friend still here?"
Jooheon nodded, pointing to his room. Kihyun sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. What a pleasure it was, to have a 7 years old child who could apparently befriend anyone.
"Okay, he can eat with us. But I'll have to call his mom, is it okay?"
"He has two dads."
Oh.
"Well, one of his dads, alright?"
The little kid nodded, and Kihyun only sighed internally. This was gonna be a long, long evening.
