Bucky looked way too good. Far better than any man should, even a super soldier. A black suit combined with his newly cut hair? Many women, along with a few men, would be swooning over how hot he looked.
A pout crossed your face. It was unfair that Bucky could look attractive in anything he wore, while you had to practically scour the earth to find the perfect dress for tonight’s Avengers gala. With some help from Natasha, you eventually found something elegant and classy, and that also revealed just enough to tease. Why did it have to be so hard for you while Bucky could just throw anything on and look good?
“Awww, doll, what’s that pout for?” Bucky asked with a teasing smile, wrapping his arm around your hip. You pouted even more.
“You look too good, Bucky,” you told him. If you could stomp your foot without looking like a toddler, you would. “It’s not fair that you could just throw something on and look that good while I had to get Natasha’s help to even find a dress that looks good on me!”
Bucky chuckled. “You don’t think I had some help? From Tony, no less! Besides, what if I told you that you outshine everyone in this room?”
You leaned into him. “That might make me feel better. But I might need more reassurances.”
“And I’ll be happy to give you them,” Bucky said before kissing you gently.
Yep, you were certainly starting to feel better.
