Work Text:

Jin pulled out some juice boxes out of the cooler next to the picnic table and put one down in front of each of the four hybrids. They all thanked their hyung and continued to eat their sandwiches and potato chips.

“Hyung, can I have more juice?” Asked Yoongi as he sipped the last drop of liquid from his juice box.

“I’m sorry, kitten, but no. It’s really hot out and I don’t want you to get a heat stroke so I need you to drink some water.” Cooed the human. He reached back down to the cooler and pulled out an ice cold water bottle.

“Here, precious.” He handed the bottle to the cat. The hybrid gave a small pout, but nevertheless he took the water and drank half the bottle in one gulp.

“Hyung, can we go play now?” Excitedly shouted Jimin as he finished the last bite of his sandwich.

Hoseok smiled at him and gave a quick nod. “Okay, but no running. I don’t want you to make yourself sick since you just finished eating.”

Jungkook and Jimin both nodded in understanding before standing up and running to the playground near the picnic table.

“No running!” Shouted Hoseok making his hybrids immediately freeze and slow down their pace.

“Can I go too?” Asked Tae as he looked over at Namjoon. The youngest human smiled at his pup and nodded. Taehyung jumping out of his seat and took off running after his friends.

Yoongi quickly shoved the rest of his sandwich in his mouth and quickly chugged the rest of his water to help him swallow the half chewed food before looking over at Jin eagerly.

“Yes, you may go too.” Laughed Jin before the kitten could ask the question.

Yoongi smiled happily and quickly got up to catch up with his friends. He walked over to the swing sets where the rest of them were already sitting in the moving seats.

“Hey, hyung!” Cheerfully greeted the others when they saw Yoongi. “Come swing with us!”

The older cat hybrid instantly hopped into the empty swing next to Jungkook and began swinging.

Over the course of the time Yoongi has been living with Seokjin, the cat hybrid has grown very attached to the three younger hybrids, and has become very eager to spend time with them.
At first he didn’t like them because they were too loud and energetic. But now their energy easily rubbed off on him and made him just as hyper and willing to play with them.

The four hybrids happily swung on the swings, having a competition on who could swing higher for about 15 minutes before getting bored.

“Come on, let’s go play on the slide!” Shouted Taehyung as he jumped off the moving swing and landed on his feet.

Jimin did the same as Tae and jumped off his swing. Yoongi and Jungkook, on the other hand, stopped their swings before getting off. They walked over to the castle shaped slide, ignoring the perfectly working stairs and instead chose to climb up the complicated net to get into the house like area. They ran across the wobbly bridge and finally made it to the top of the slide.

The hybrids all stood in a line behind each other, waiting their turn to go down. Jimin and Tae gave each other knowing looks as they watched Yoongi march in place as he crossed and uncrossed his legs while he waited for Jungkook to make it to the bottom of the slide.

Once Jungkook was off the slide, the older kitten bent down and slid down the triple loop slide. Jimin and Tae followed after.

“Let’s play freeze-tag.” Spoke Jimin just as Tae stood up from the edge of the slide.

“That’s a great idea!” Agreed Jungkook and Tae. Yoongi nodded his head as a uncomfortable shifted his weight from foot to foot, squeezing his legs together in the process.

The three other hybrids looked at their hyung for a few seconds, but ignored it. Ever since his birthday part a few months ago, the younger hybrids knew that Yoongi liked to hold it and sometimes have accidents on purpose. This didn’t bother them at all, they would never judge their hyung. As long as he was happy, they were too.

But little did they know that Yoongi wasn’t doing it on purpose. A few months ago, a little after his birthday, Yoongi began having accidents very frequently. And not the accidents that Yoongi does on purpose, but actual accidents.

For some reason his body would start subconsciously holding it, and Yoongi wouldn’t even realize he needed to go until it was already too late. He would be so immersed in the activity he was doing that he wouldn’t feel his bladder filling up and wouldn’t realize until he began leaking into his pants. The second he felt himself leak, the hybrid would run to the bathroom as fast as he could, sometimes he would make it and sometimes he wouldn’t.

The four energetic hybrids began playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who would be ‘it’ first. Jungkook ended up losing the game.

“You’re it!” Shouted Taehyung as all the hybrids took off running in opposite directions.

The game lasted about ten minutes before everyone was frozen in place. “I won!” Announced Jungkook. The other hybrids groaned.

“Who did you tag first?” Asked Jimin.

“Yoongi hyung.” Replied Jungkook.

“That means Yoongi hyung is it now!” Shouted Jimin and Tae at the same time before taking off running. Yoongi playfully rolled his eyes before chasing after them.

He was in the middle of chasing Jimin up the slide’s stairs when he gasped loudly and doubled over to shove his hands between his legs. He small leak pushed its way out from the tip of his member and soaked into his underwear. The oldest cat quickly turned around and began making his way down the stairs to get back to the ground.

He was leaking with every step that he took, so by the time he was on the ground their was a noticeable stain on the front of his pants. Yoongi let out a sad whimper and whipped his head over to the direction of the picnic table that the humans were sitting at. He tried to shuffle over at best as he could, but he only managed to take two steps before his dam bursted.

The warm liquid gushed out of him at full force, instantly soaking the front of his pants and running down the side of his pants leg. The cat quickly crouched down so the liquid would fall directly on to the ground and not soak into his shoes and socks.

He looked down and watched the huge puddle forming below him. Yoongi made sure to push ever drop of urine out of him before finally standing up and looking at his ruined pants.

His lower lip began to quiver and then he bursted into loud sobs. The other hybrids immediately became concerned and ran to Yoongi to make sure he was okay.

“Hyung, what’s wrong?” Asked Jungkook as he ran to Yoongi’s side.

When all the hybrids arrive to Yoongi, they looked down at the puddle that was slowly being absorbed into the mulch, then back up to him.

“I-I-I h-had an a-accident!” Wailed the poor distressed cat.

The other hybrids looked at each in confusion.

“B-But I though you liked having accidents?” Said Jimin.

“Noooo!” Sobbed Yoongi. “I o-only like h-having accidents w-when I p-plan to do th-them. I d-didn’t plan this o-one.”

“Ohhhhh!” Hummed the three younger hybrids as they realized what Yoongi meant.

“So this was an accident accident, like an actual real accident.” Voiced Taehyung. Yoongi sadly nodded his head.

“It’s okay, hyung.” Comforted Jungkook as he stepped closer, being careful to avoid the puddle. The bunny wrapped his arms around his hyung and hugged the kitten tight. “Accidents happen sometimes, but it’s okay.”

“Do you want me to go tell Jin hyung?” Asked Jimin. Yoongi nodded his head as he continued to sob into Jungkook’s shoulder.

“Okay, I’ll be right back!” Shouted Jimin before taking off running in the direction of the picnic table.

“Hyung!” He yelled as he got closer. All of the humans looked over at the source of the noise and saw Jimin running towards them.

“What’s up Jiminie?” Asked Hoseok, as Jimin approached the table.

“Yoongi hyung had an accident.” He whispered sheepishly, feeling second hand embarrassment from having to say it out loud.

Jin sighed tiredly and rubbed a hand over his face before getting up from the picnic table and walking towards the play ground to check on his hybrid.

When he arrived to where the hybrids were all waiting, Jin saw his hybrid forcefully crying into Jungkook’s shoulder, while Jungkook hugged him tightly and Taehyung ran his fingers through the cat’s hair.

“We’re here.” Informed Jimin as he rubbed a hand on Yoongi’s back. The older cat instantly pulled away from Jungkook and turned around to face his hyung.

“H-Hyungie, I had an a-accident.” He sobbed loudly as he slammed into his hyung’s chest.

“I know, baby, Jimin told me already.” Sighed Jin as he scooped his hands under Yoongi’s armpits and lifted him up on his hip, not even caring that his own clothes would get pee all over them.

The human was exhausted from having to deal with accidents. He tried not to get mad, because he hated seeing his hybrid so distressed. But it was so frustrating seeing Yoongi’s pants all wet. The cat was having at least one accident a day and some days he would wet himself up to four times.

Jin didn’t know what to do. He had thought that he potty trained Yoongi well, since the hybrid had used the toilet fine without a problem for about two months. But a few weeks after his birthday the cat began having accidents nonstop.

And the accidents weren’t so much of the problem, Jin knew that Yoongi didn’t mean to wet himself. But it was very irritating having to clean up all the messes, and the amount of laundry he was doing in a day was also very tiring.

He had tried to take Yoongi to the bathroom every hour again, like he use to do when he was first potty training the cat. But Yoongi would throw fits about how going every hour was too excessive. So instead Jin began keeping an eye on the cat 24/7 and whenever he showed the slightest sign of discomfort Jin would force him to go to the bathroom.

But this quickly became a problem since Jin couldn’t always keep an eye on Yoongi. The human had responsibilities, he couldn’t afford to sit on the couch and watch Yoongi like a hawk all day long.

The human looked down at his still crying hybrid. The cat had calm down significantly now that he was wrapped in his hyung’s arms, but a few tears still fell from his eyes.

Jin walked back to the picnic table and picked up his book bag. “I’m gonna go ahead and head home.” Said Jin as he looked at his two younger friends. “Can you guys drop off my cooler later?”

“Yeah, no problem, hyung.” Smiled Namjoon and Hoseok. The gave their hyung a sympathetic look and watched as he walked towards the direction of the parking lot.

When they got home Jin immediately took Yoongi to the bathroom, he stripped the cat of his soiled clothes and started up the shower. Once the water was the perfect temperature, the human place Yoongi in the bathtub and washed him as quickly as possible.

After finishing the shower, Jin took Yoongi to his room and got him dressed before changing his own clothes and crawling into the bed with him. The cat had exhausted himself with all the crying, so he looked ready for a nap.

Jin laid in bed with him, rubbing his back and cuddling Yoongi until the cat finally fell asleep. Once Yoongi’s breaths were even and soft, the human slowly got out of the bed and went to the living room to watch a little tv.

It was about two hours later when a soft knock was heard at the door. Jin got up from the couch and walked over to the front door and opened it. Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook all stood there with huge smiles.

“Hi guys!” Greeted Jin as he moved out of the way so they could walk in to the apartment.

“We brought your cooler!” Announced Taehyung as he ran into the living room and jumped on the couch.

“Thank you!” Smiled Jin. The human reached over and took the medium size cooler from Namjoon and walked it over to his kitchen.

“Where’s Yoongi hyung?” Asked the bunny hybrid.

“He’s taking a nap. He was very tired after his bath.”

Jungkook frowned and made a disappointed sound.

“But he’s been sleeping for about two hours, so I think you should go wake him up or else he’ll have a hard time falling asleep at night.” Quickly added Jin when he saw the hybrid’s disappointment.

Jungkook’s frown instantly disappeared and got replaced with a huge grin. He nodded his head and ran in the direction of Yoongi’s room to wake his hyung. Taehyung and Jimin got off the couch and curiously ran after Jungkook.

The humans smiled as they watched their hybrids disappear down the hallway. Once they were out of view the three humans sat at the kitchen table and began talking.

Jin was in the middle of telling his friends an embarrassing story that had happen to him at work that week when Taehyung walked into the kitchen with a worried look on his face.

“Hyung.” Shyly said the puppy hybrid to get the humans attention. All three men turned and looked at him.

“Yoongi hyung...had an accident.” He said sadly. Jin closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose to stop the frustration that was rising in his chest.

“But it was our fault, we’re sorry.” Quickly informed Tae.

“How was it your fault puppy?” Asked a confused Namjoon.

“Because we scared him. We thought it would be funny, but he had an accident.” Mumbled the puppy with a pout.

“It’s okay TaeTae, it wasn’t your fault.” Sighed Jin as he reassured the puppy.

The eldest human was about to get up to clean his hybrid’s mess, when Hoseok quickly stood up.

“I’ll take care of it, hyung.” He said.

“No, it’s okay, Hoseokie. I’ll do it.” Replied Jin.

“No, it’s fine. You look tired, I don’t mind at all.” Smiled Hoseok before jogging to Yoongi’s room with Tae.

When the human and the puppy hybrid walked in, they saw a sad looking Yoongi sitting up on his bed. Fortunately, the kitten wasn’t crying. He looked more in shock than sad. The cat had never wet his bed before, not by accident of course. So accidentally wetting his bed, left him both stunned and sad.

“Hey, kitten.” Cheerfully cooed Hoseok as he walked next to Yoongi’s bed.

“TaeTae told me you had an accident?” Said the human while looking at Yoongi. But the cat stayed quiet while he avoided eye contact.

Hoseok gently removed the thick comforter off of Yoongi to reveal a the cat sitting in a large puddle with soaked pants. Luckily the comforted was completely dry, so Hoseok carefully placed it aside before slowly helping Yoongi out of the bed. He stripped the bed of its sheets before taking Yoongi’s soaked clothes off. He then used the dry part of the sheets to dry the mattress protector and then used the other side of the dry sheets to dry Yoongi off.

Once Yoongi was dry, Hoseok walked to the cat’s closet and pulled out clean underwear and pants. He handed them to the cat, but Yoongi didn’t take them. Instead it continued to look down at his feet with a sad look in his eye.
Hoseok gave the cat a sympathetic look before putting the clothes on him himself.

“There!” Smiled Hoseok when Yoongi was fully dressed. “You’re good as new.” The human pulled the cat into a tight loving hug before letting go of him and taking all the sheets and clothes to the laundry room to wash.

When Hoseok walked back into the kitchen, his other two friends were silently sipping their drinks. Hoseok sat down in his chair and stared at his friends.

“It’s all cleaned up.” Informed Hoseok.

Jin nodded. “How’s Yoongi?”

“He’s a little upset, but he’ll be okay.” Reassured Hoseok. Jin nodded again.

They sat in silence for a full minute before Namjoon finally spoke up.

“Hyung? Have you ever consider maybe putting Yoongi in...diapers?” He asked just over a whisper.

“Diapers?!” Gasped Jin. “Namjoon, he’s 27. I can’t put him in diapers.”

“Why not?” Asked Hoseok. “It would be a good idea.”

Jin looked at his friends with a look of disbelief. “Guys he’s 27! He can’t where diapers, those are only for young untrained hybrids.”

Hoseok frowned and looked down at his own drink. “Hyung if they are only for young untrained hybrids, then why do they make adult hybrid diapers? They clearly make them because some hybrids need them. And it’s not a bad thing. Some hybrids just need a little extra help is all, it doesn’t make them any different than other hybrids.”

“Yeah, hyung.” Added Namjoon. “Many hybrids need them. Yoongi has been trying his very best to use the toilet, but something is just not clicking yet. That’s not your fault, you’ve done a great job training him. But maybe he just needs a little extra help. Putting him in diapers is a good way to help minimize the messes until he finally grasped the concept of going to the bathroom.”

“I think it would be a good idea to try out. Changing a diaper is easier and cleaner than having to clean the furniture or floors.” Said Hoseok.

Jin sighed. “But what if the other hybrids make fun of him.”

“They won’t.” Quickly assured Namjoon and Hoseok.

“I promise you that I will not allow my angels to belittle Yoongi in any way, shape, or form.”

“Yeah me neither.” Agreed Namjoon. “Besides, Taehyungie has no reason to make fun of Yoongi, since he wears pull ups.”

“What?!” Jin’s eyes grew wide in shock.

“Yeah, you didn’t know?” Said a confused Namjoon. Jin shook his head.

“Do you remember how Tae would pee every time he got too excited?”

Jin nodded his head. “Yes, my floors and furniture were victims to his happy pees.”

“Well it never stopped. I just started putting him in pull-ups to stop the messes. I can’t believe you’ve never noticed.”

Jin continued to look at Namjoon in disbelief. He couldn’t believe that Taehyung wears pull-ups.

“The other hybrids never made fun of him for it.” Added Namjoon.

Jin faces soften as he thought. It made him feel better that one of the hybrids also had a similar problem as Yoongi. He always worried about his kitten feeling insecure or different.

Maybe he should try putting Yoongi in diapers.
