Chapter 1: Force sensitive Hunter and Tech 1

Chapter Text

Hunter cautiously reached out his senses, the blue energy sparkled around him as he went through the Kaminoans newest test's. They said it was electrical fields, that he was unique because he could see them.
Months later when he saw grass for the first time he wondered why it had an electrical field too.

~~~
Tech calmed his mind, bringing order to the chaos as he sank into himself. He saw images with the numbers, different out comes and possibilities. The Kaminoans said it was because he could process more information then the average clone, that he was unique.
When Tech was placed with Hunter and he saw him fall into a similar state to see the electrical currents, Tech realized he wasn't as unique as the Kaminoans thought
~~~

After a few months in the field Hunter froze as he sensed the blue energy pulsing towards him. He couldn't avoid that blast. He was startled out of his daze as Tech tackled him under a nearby crevice that had been covered by a large rock.
The pulse blasted over them, energy burning at Hunters mind, but not physically hurting them.
"What the kriff did you think you where doing? You could have killed yourself!" Hunter snarled as Tech froze.
"I saw the blast and projected there was a 60% chance there was a fissure under that rock considering the terrain and seismic activity." Tech rattled off, still slightly spooked by the close call.
"Tech, you knew exactly which rock to go to." Hunter realized as Tech shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.
"Sometimes I see things, that do not make sense by the numbers." Tech mumbled. "And that was a sonic blast. You should not have been able to sense it." Tech added thoughtfully.
Hunter blinked stupidly.
"What?"

~~~
Tech poured over the information again. Everything looked solid, the informant was verified and had been providing good intel for years. He had been able to corroborate most of the details through his own research.
He pushed down the nausea as he tried to find something that gave credence to his gut feeling. Something was wrong, but he couldn't find ANYTHING wrong.
He felt Hunter sit next to him as he scrolled through the informants dossier one last time.
"What's wrong?" Hunter asked after Tech didn't acknowledge him. Tech frown and threw the datapad across the table.
"Nothing. I can not find anything wrong." Tech sighed as he took off his goggles to pinch the bridge of his nose, trying to fight the headache that been brewing since they received this mission.
"But-" Hunter's voice prodded Tech gently. He knew something was wrong or Tech wouldn't have been reviewing the datafiles for the past several hours.
"I have a bad feeling. I can not explain it." Tech admitted in a defeated tone. He hated anything that flew in the face of logic, his 'bad feeling' was illogical.
Hunter frown and ran a hand under his chin thoughtfully.
"This one of those doesn't make sense by the numbers things?" Hunter inquired. Tech nodded morosely rubbing his tired eyes as he reached for the datapad he threw. Hunter caught his hand and took the datapad from him.
"We'll do our own intel when we hit the ground. You take a nap, it's late." Hunter ordered and he powered off the datapad.
"Thank you." Tech murmured as he went off to go sleep.
When they landed Hunter went out with Crosshair to scout the area. When they went to scout out Crosshair's planned snipers nest, Crosshair spotted another sniper setting up across from it.
When they got back Tech didn't look green anymore and the mission went off with out a hitch.
