Ola lay on the bed Lily straddling her thighs leaning over her make up brush in hand swiping the soft purple powder over her eyelids, she giggled softly making Lily frown.
"Sorry tickles"
"Huh"
At that Lily swapped brushes from the flat round eye shadow swab to a large blusher brush, which she proceeded to run lightly over her forehead her cheeks and chin. Ola burst into even more giggles smacking at her thighs gently.
"Stop, stop it tickles."
"That was the point"
She replied placing a kiss to the tip of her nose.
"Sorry lemme finish up no more tickling pinkie promise."
She stretched out her hand interlocking their little fingers Ola smiled at her as she grabbed a bottle of purple liquid eyeshadow this time. This one felt different wet and cold in stark contrast to tickly powder from before. Ola closed her eyes before Lily even had to ask, the next thing that she felt was Lily's fingers oh so gently wiping over her eyelids smoothing out the makeup she'd just applied covering anywhere that the brush had missed.
"Glitter?"
"Sure babe"
Ola kept her eyes closed feeling more than seeing Lily move her hand away and to the side of the bed where the makeup box sat, she heard it click open some contents being shuffled as Lily looked for what she wanted she pulled it out and sensed Lily holding the pot in front of her face.
"Voila"
Ola opened her eyes Lily had picked a pot of shiny iridescent glitter she closed her eyes again as Lily dipped a brush into the pot it felt like a smaller blusher brush as she dusted it lightly across her eyelids.
"Eyes are done... Unless you want lashes?"
She'd done her mascara earlier already but she wanted to be Lily's canvas today so she nodded then added a "Yeah " for emphasis.
That familiar routing noise happened but for longer this time as she took out more items Ola peeked open her eyes so far Lily had taken out a blusher, lipstick and now long false eyelashes with feathers and sparkles on them she raised them to Ola's eye level as if asking is this, ok?
"They're perfect"
Ola closed her eyes careful not to screw them up too much as Lily pressed the lash to her upper lash line then repeated the gesture with her other eye. Ola fought back the urge to blink at the gentle touch.
"Okay you can open them again."
When Ola opened her eyes she could see her eyelashes it was an unexpected sight she blinked several times getting used to the weight of them, Lily moved on to doing her blusher next, she'd chosen a dusty purple colour and applied it heavily to her cheeks in two sweeping arcs then repeated the gesture again with glitter this time, a different one than on her eyelids this one was silver and Ola recognised it as one of Lily's favourites she made sure not to squirm even as the brush tickled her cheeks.
The final step was lipstick Ola had never had anyone do her makeup before so she had no idea what to expect but when Lily picked up a tube of lipstick silver and shaped like a penis because of course Lily would have penis lipsticks she'd have been surprised to find out otherwise, the way she drew it over her lips felt surprisingly like a finger being dragged across her lips, it was definitely her favourite part of this whole makeover other than Lily sitting on her lap obviously.
"All done"
Lily climbed off of her letting her stand up and walk to the mirror Lily stop beside her waiting to see her reaction. Ola just stared at her reflection in amazement her talented girlfriend had transformed her into some sort of beautiful Alien creature. Her eyes were purple and sparkled like galaxies the blush on her cheeks reflected the light from the bulb in the room refracting it back into a rainbow across her face and her lips looked like mercury floating in a thermometer and she hadn't even looked at her outfit yet.
Lily had picked out a suitably alien outfit to match leggings covered in purple and silver iridescent scales, a purple spaghetti strap top with a silver mesh crop top layered over it, her usual silver hoops were replaced with stars and moons and even one tiny tentacle, a sparkly silver headband adorned with tentacles like a tiara clearly adapted by Lily pushed back her afro curls. None of Lily's shoes fit her so she was still in her black brogues.
"Well, what do you think?"
"I love it I look like an Alien Princess."
She stood on tiptoes to kiss her girlfriend who stood 7inches taller than her normally but in her silver heels she towered over her even more, Lily had to bend over to press their lips together. Ola tried to kiss her more than just the simple peck but Lily was already pulling away laughing softly.
"Don't ruin all my hard work just yet"
She linked hands with her as they left her bedroom ready to go see Barbarella at the theatre with Eric and Adam.
