You were contemplating whether or not you should knock on Kaminari’s door. It was 3 in the morning and you couldn’t fall back to sleep, so you thought the next best thing was to go skate in the city. Problem is, you hate going alone, especially at night when you feel the most one edge.
So here you are in front of Kaminari’s door deciding if it truly was a good idea to wake up your best friend, but before you could back out the door opened revealing said friend and a person you weren’t expecting to be there.
“Oh hey what are you doing up?” asks the human charger while trying to not open the door too much to show he had a guest with him. Said guest didn’t even try to hide, he just stood to the side watching how the interaction went.
“Y’know, I could ask you the same question and also what is Shinso doing at your dorm at this magnificent hour? You boys weren’t doing something, I don’t know, not school appropriate maybe?” You replied while lifting your eyebrow and having a small smirk form on your lips.
Kaminari was clearly too flustered to answer, which was rare to see, but you enjoyed making him feel flustered because you enjoyed messing with him.
“W-Well, I a-a-asked you first, so you answer.” He said back while trying to hide his face with his hands. All you did was laugh a bit and so did Shinso. Now that was the most rare thing to see, Shinso laughing and looking a bit more alive than he usually does.
“Come on Y/N. Stop teasing him or else he’ll short circuit before school even starts” says Shinso.
“Alright alright I’ll stop. Anyways the reason I came to your door was to ask if you wanted to skate with me since I can’t sleep. And since Shinso is here, he can join too after all, the more the merrier.” You were avoiding looking at their eyes the entire time you were talking. Afraid they would reject the idea and you’d have to think of another solution to your problem.
“Oh, well why didn’t you come sooner? It doesn’t matter now, but yes I’ll join you in your skating adventure. What'd you say Shinso wanna come with us too?” asks Kaminari while giving puppy dog eyes to Shinso.
“Sure I’ll go too.”
“Great! I’ll meet you guys in the front of the dorms then in five minutes. See ya soon!” You say while quickly walking back to your dorm to pack your backpack with a speaker to blast music, wallet, keys, and snacks in incase you guys get hungry. You then grab a hoodie to put on, your skateboard, and you're out the door and in front of the dorms joining the human pikachu and insomniac to start an adventure a little past 3 in the morning.
“Let's get this party started!” You fist bump the air while quickly running through the UA gates, leaving school grounds with your best friends in tow.
“YEAH!” yells Kaminari matching your energy with his skateboard tucked under his arm.
“Be quiet unless you want to get caught before we even get started.” says Shinso with a very small, almost invincible smile.
After leaving the gates behind, you all get on your skateboards and ride through the city blasting music through the speaker you brought with you, laughing at anything, and just having a blast. There were people that yelled through their window to be quiet, but you guys ignored it and just kepting skating until you saw the sun start to rise again.
“Hey guys, I think it’s time we return to the dorms before Mr. Aizawa and the other teachers notice we aren’t there.” Says Shinso, the responsible one of our little trio.
“Aww. Okay fine, let’s go back.” Me and Kaminari say at the same time. You both stare at eachother then burst out laughing at how in sync that was.
“It’s creepy when you guys do that. Please stop.” says Shinso looking creeped out by us.
“Well we can’t control it, it just happens” says Kaminari while you’re just crossing your arms over your chest and nodding along with your eyes closed.
“Okay whatever, let’s head back before it gets later.”
“Don’t you mean earlier?” You say with a smirk.
“Don’t you be a smartass with me right now, now c’mon let's go.” says Shinso getting his board ready to skate away at any moment.
“Okay okay sorry.” You say with a smile and chuckling a bit at the end with Kaminari just laughing at the show happening in front of him.
You all skate back to the dorms, but it takes a while because you guys went pretty far without even realizing it. When you arrived at the dorms, the sun was already above the horizon, and Mr. Aizawa was there in the dorm’s common room waiting for you guys when you arrived.
“Where have you three been?” ask the underground hero while looking to each of you waiting for an answer.
You respond with, “We were skating around the ci- ”
“ Campus. We woke up early and we went skating around the campus.” Says Shinso, saving you guys from almost ratting yourself out with what you guys did. You were tired considering you haven’t slept at all, so your mind was all over the place.
‘Thank you’ mouths Kaminari and you to Shinso while Aizawa wasn’t looking. Shinso mouths back with a roll of his eyes ‘You guys owe me’.
“At 3 in the morning?” says Mr. Aizawa looking back up from his phone.
“How did you-?” before Kaminari could finish his question, Mr. Aizawa shows us what he was looking at on his phone.
“The school has security cameras all around the school and dorms and they let me know when one of my students leaves.” Sure enough, you can see yourself along with your friends leaving the school at 3 in the morning with the date and everything on the security cameras.
“Sorry Sensei” You all say looking down at the ground with apologetic expressions.
“(Sigh) Just promise you guys won’t do this again without letting me know first that you are leaving. Doesn’t matter how you’re going to let me know, just do it. Now go get some rest, Problem Children, you have a day full of tests today.”
“Wait tests?!” You three reply looking at your teacher with confused looks and eyes wide open with your mouths hung open too.
“You guys do remember that today you have tests right? The teachers and I have told all our classes about this for 2 weeks now.” says Mr. Aizawa with an eyebrow raised.
“Oh yeah we remember. We just forgot for a second, right guys?” You say while chuckling nervously and looking at each of them either side of you. They clearly didn’t remember either and you knew, but they played it off as if they did as to not get in more trouble.
“Yeah it totally just slipped our minds for a moment, but we remember.” says Kaminari while scratching the back of his neck.
“Mhm. Okay well go to your dorms and rest until it’s time for school, got it?” says Mr. Aizawa while giving us the evil glare that clearly states he doesn’t believe us.
“YES SENSEI!” You all say and quickly run back to your individual rooms to catch some sleep before you start school in 4 hours. As soon as your head touches the pillow, you're out like a light.
