"Hey everyone!" Jimin smiles, waving at the webcam attached to the top of his monitor.

The omega giggles as his chat starts to fill up with thousands of people excited to see him. That was one of the things he loved most about streaming—his audience was more of a community that shared so many of his own interests. Although he would never be able to really know each and every person who interacts with him, he can always feel the overwhelming love and support radiating from the members of his chat.

jimbles: what’s on the schedule for today?
"What's on the schedule for today?" Jimin reads the question. "Well, we'll probably chat for a bit and then play some Tenacion with the usual squad." Jimin, his boyfriend Jeongguk, and his friends Taehyung, Seokjin and Yoongi recently gained a lot of fame from playing Tenacion, a first person shooter game. They each already had decently sized audiences before Tenacion’s release, but now they were almost popular enough to be considered mainstream.
When Jimin first started streaming, he was simultaneously trying to finish his college degree. It was important to him that he did that, if not for himself then to please his parents, who were definitely skeptical of Jimin’s new career. Their worries were not misplaced—it was a grueling job, especially in the beginning. He wasn’t used to putting himself out there, and suddenly people across the internet could see and judge his every move.
One year after starting to stream and just a couple of months away from graduation, Jimin seriously considered giving up. His chat was not the supportive and peaceful entity that it is today and it was taking a toll on Jimin’s mental health, yet he forced himself to put on a smile every time he talked to his webcam. It was exhausting, and the omega eventually came to the conclusion that it was too unhealthy for him to continue. He fully intended on gradually decreasing the number of times he streamed per week from 5 to 0, but unexpectedly, he became hooked on a new game: Zona. Instead of his weekly broadcast hours dwindling down to none, he streamed longer and longer each day, waiting eagerly for college to be over so he could stream full-time and with no other responsibilities.
Zona was an online multiplayer role-playing game, where players made roles for themselves and lived in the virtual world. In a series of wild events, Jimin eventually found himself as the leader of a gang. He had so much fun playing his role that his positivity was contagious and reflected in the people that flocked to watch him. As his audience grew, Jimin was able to hire moderators, and began to love streaming and interacting with his chat once more. Although he doesn’t play it anymore, he’ll always cherish the memories he made on Zona. After all, that’s where he met the love of his life, Jeongguk, and by extension, his best friends as well.
Jimin continues to respond to a few comments and questions that popped up before he hears, "Bye baby!" from outside his room, though it was too quiet for his microphone to pick up.
"I'll be right back!" Jimin says before quickly dashing to the living room where Jeongguk was zipping up his bag. He had slept over in Jimin's apartment after they spent one of their rare days off together.
"Do you really have to go now?" Jimin asks sadly. "Can't you stay just a little longer?"
"Baby we're literally playing Tenacion together in 15 minutes, I have to get ready and start my stream." Jeongguk laughs fondly. Jimin was always a bit clingier after they were physically together for a while. Jimin claims that it’s because his Omega is happiest when his Alpha is near, but Jeongguk knows that Jimin himself loves being close to him just as much, if not more.
"Okay you've got a point, but Yoongi is always late anyway so you can hang out with me for just a few more minutes," Jimin pouts, knowing that Jeongguk would not be able to resist.
Jeongguk sighs, "You know I can never say no to you, especially not when you pout like that."
"Which is exactly why I do it every time," Jimin grins cheekily before pecking Jeongguk on the lips and grabbing his hand to guide him to his room. "Come say hi to stream!"
As Jimin plops himself back on his chair, Jeongguk sits behind him on his bed. "Hi guys!" Jeongguk waves with a smile.

Every time Jeongguk appears on Jimin's stream, the chat is immediately flooded with comments about how handsome and perfect Jeongguk is. Of course, this makes Jimin proud because praise for his alpha is praise for him too, but he can never really fight the urge to remind all those people just who Jeongguk belongs to. He turns in his chair to face Jeongguk, then grabs his chin and pulls him in for a kiss.
"I have to agree with all of you—myaAlpha really is perfect," Jimin looks back at his webcam. He can smell the happiness in Jeongguk's pine scent bloom.
"Nah, you're the perfect one." Jeongguk leans forward and gently noses the scent gland at Jimin’s neck. "The best omega."
Jimin can’t help the blush that spreads across his cheeks at the show of affection. Even after two years of hearing Jeongguk say similar things, his heart skips a beat each time. It was still unbelievable to him that he managed to find an alpha who loves him for who he is.

“Chat, you’re so funny,” Jimin laughs, intertwining his fingers with Jeongguk’s as Jeongguk stands and picks up his bag.
“I really have to get going now, I’ll talk to you later baby,” Jeongguk says, bringing Jimin’s hand to his lips.
“Uh no, I don’t think you’re leaving yet,” Jimin looks up at him with a grin and holds onto Jeongguk’s hand with both of his own, preventing Jeongguk from walking past his chair. Jeongguk is forced to sit down once more and mouths “he’s crazy” to the webcam, which Jimin clearly sees as he watches the stream on his monitor.
“Did you want to say something to me?” Jimin asks with a sickeningly sweet smile.
“You’re beautiful,” Jeongguk responds immediately, “and I love you.”
Jimin rolls his eyes, “Now you’re just being sappy.”
“What, you don’t love me too?” It’s Jeongguk’s turn to pout.
“Of course I love you, you big baby,” Jimin couldn’t hold back the giggles that spilled out of his mouth—Jeongguk makes him so happy. “Actually, could you entertain chat for a bit?” Jimin asks, rubbing his stomach. “I don’t really feel like getting takeout today and I’m a little hungry, so I’ll heat up some of the leftovers from last night.”
“I’ll do that for you, you can stay here,” Jeongguk suggests, trying to stand up again.
“You’re not leaving this spot until I say so,” Jimin says, pushing Jeongguk back down. “Be good chat, don’t say anything weird.” Jimin points at his webcam in an attempt to look threatening before leaving the room.

“Oh wow, we’re heading into some deep questions already,” Jeongguk laughs lightly. “Do I think Jimin is the one? Yeah, of course I do.” He moves to sit in Jimin’s seat. “I’ve never loved someone as much as I love Jimin. We’ve gotten along so well since the very beginning, both as people and as our alpha and omega. I’d also like to believe that we’ve helped each other become better people. Honestly, I could talk about how much I love Jimin and what he’s done for me for days, but I’ll spare all of you from that.” Jeongguk chuckles again as he pushes his hair away from his face.

“How did we meet? Well I’m sure most of you know because you were probably there for it, but Jimin and I met while role-playing on Zona three years ago,” Jeongguk smiles fondly at the memory. “He was the leader of the Kitty Gang and I was a police officer, so we’d run into each other almost daily. Our characters just happened to have this crazy enemies-to-lovers story arc before we even met in person. And then, after months of acting as lovers on screen, we finally met up and I swear it was love at first sight. I think I knew right then and there that he was it for me. He looked so beautiful and his scent was so comforting that it felt like I was coming home.”

kooluv: are you guys planning on mating soon?
“We’ve talked a lot about moving in together, mating, and other aspects of our future though nothing is really set in stone for now…” Jeongguk trails off. “But I’d like for us to get mated soon. There’s nothing I want more.” Just as Jeongguk finishes speaking, Jimin walks back in with a bowl of rice and meat in one hand, and chopsticks in the other.
“Hey, I thought I told you not to leave your spot until I said so,” Jimin says as he places his food onto his desk and puts his hands on his hips, giving Jeongguk a stern look.
“I mean, I could go back to sitting on the bed, or you could just sit here,” Jeongguk grins playfully, gesturing to his lap.
“Well obviously I’m not going to choose the first option,” Jimin mutters as he sits and Jeongguk’s arms wrap around his waist. “It’s easier for me to keep you here like this too,” he adds triumphantly, continuing to make himself comfortable in his Alpha’s embrace as he begins to eat. “Anyway, what did you talk about while I was gone?”
“I just answered a few questions about how we met and our plans for the future,” Jeongguk says, opening his mouth when Jimin offers him a bite.
“I love talking about when we met!” Jimin chuckles, “Jeongguk was so nervous when we met up in person for the first time, I could smell it all over him. He got so flustered whenever I looked even slightly in his direction.”
“I couldn’t help it—have you seen yourself? You’re gorgeous, baby!” Jeongguk protests. “Plus, we only ever really talked as our characters before that day, I didn’t know if you were actually going to like me.”
“You got the leader of the most notorious gang in Zona to fall in love with you as a cop, and you really thought that I wouldn’t be charmed the moment you smiled at me?” Jimin looks at Jeongguk with a raised brow. “Either way, we ended up together and that’s all that matters,” Jimin pauses for a second and smiles, “though I don’t think there’s a universe that exists where we aren’t together.”
“Look who’s the sappy one now,” Jeongguk snorts.
“Hey, I’m just trying to be cute!” Jimin huffs, shoving another bite of food into Jeongguk’s mouth.
“I know, and you are indeed very cute,” Jeongguk says after swallowing, placing a kiss on Jimin’s cheek.

TAEGER: HELLO ?? WHAT HAPPENED TO TENACION AT 1PM ??
“Oh shit baby, Tae’s looking for us,” Jeongguk points to where Taehyung’s message in the chat is highlighted on the screen.
“The sooner we play, the sooner Jeongguk has to leave me, so you guys can wait just a bit more,” Jimin says defiantly.
“What he meant to say is that I’m leaving now and I’ll get on as soon as possible,” Jeongguk lifts Jimin as he stands up, then seats him back down in the chair.
“No, that’s actually the opposite of what I meant,” Jimin folds his arms on his chest before lighting up with an idea. “What if I just end stream and go home with you?” He turns to face his webcam and asks, “Would you guys let me end now so I can be with Jeongguk?”

“You’re so silly sometimes, baby,” Jeongguk says with a smile. “We can hang out tomorrow, okay?”
“All right,” Jimin sighs in defeat, a hint of bitterness seeping into his honey lemon scent. “I’ll walk you to the door.”
Jeongguk retrieves his bag once again and takes Jimin’s hand in his as he stands and they leave his room.
“I’m sorry I’m being so clingy today,” Jimin closes his eyes and hugs Jeongguk, fitting his head perfectly into the nook at Jeongguk’s neck and rubbing his nose on Jeongguk’s scent gland. “I’m pretty sure my heat is coming soon, and my omega can’t bear the thought of you leaving.”
“I know it is, and it’s okay,” Jeongguk says as kisses the top of Jimin’s head. “Once we confirm everything with the realtor I’ll never have to leave you again.”
“I can’t wait to share a home with you,” Jimin takes a step back so he can look into Jeongguk’s eyes, and places his hand on Jeongguk’s face to stroke his cheek lightly. “I love you.”
“I love you more, baby,” Jeongguk smiles, lifting Jimin’s chin to kiss him.
They quickly scent each other one last time before Jeongguk leaves. As Jimin closes the door and locks it, he sighs as he imagines living in the house that he and Jeongguk have settled on buying. It’s a future that feels so close and yet so far, but he can’t dwell on it like he does so frequently—his stream is still going and he’s been gone for too long. He makes his way back into his room and sits in the chair, finally puts his headphones on and clicks on Tenacion to get it started. He joins the voice call with his friends, and is immediately yelled at by the others for being late.
“Minie, I can’t believe that you were the one who said that we should play at 1 PM and yet when 1 PM rolls around, I click on your stream and see you and Jeongguk canoodling!” Taehyung exclaims as Jimin turns down his volume. “And now we have to wait for Jeongguk to get home and get everything started. What do you have to say for yourself?”
“Oops?” Jimin giggles as he knows his friends aren’t actually mad at him.
“Even Yoongi was here on time,” Seokjin inserts.
“The one time I make it on time is the one time when Jimin doesn’t, so I just feel like there’s no point in trying to be punctual,” Yoongi says.
“I’m sorry,” Jimin apologizes with a laugh. “You know how I get when Jeongguk has to leave.”
“Well now I’m going to have to hear about how Jimin is so beautiful and how Jimin smells so good for the next day,” Seokjin snorts. “I can’t wait for you two to move in together so I don’t have to see this brooding alpha mope around until it’s time to see you again.”
“Trust me, that’s exactly what I want too,” Jimin can’t help but smile at the thought.
Yoongi pretends to gag. “The two of you disgust me.”
“Please, as if you and Hoseok are any better,” Taehyung rebuttals. “You’re not the one who’s single but surrounded by couples all the time—even Seokjin and Namjoon have that weird thing going on.”
“Aw Tae, you know we all love you very much,” Jimin says as Seokjin splutters.
“I know, I know,” Jimin has a feeling that Taehyung was rolling his eyes. “Anyway, where’s Jeongguk? I want to get started, the new map looks really interesting.”
As if on cue, Jeongguk joins the call. “Hey guys, sorry I’m late!”
“Hey babe,” Jimin grins.
“Hi baby,” Jeongguk responds, and Jimin’s heart flutters.
Yoongi, Seokjin and Taehyung sigh audibly into their microphones.
