Chapter Text
“Cormoran Blue Strike, how dare you keep this from me? And for three whole months!” Ilsa exclaims as she paces back and forth across her living room.
“Ilsa, pl-“, but Cormorans attempts at an explanation are ignored as she continues.
“All I wanted was for you two to be happy and clearly the only way for that to happen was for you to both finally admit your feelings for the other…”
Robin meekly raises a finger to interject but Cormoran covers her hand with his own and slyly shakes his head in warning not to interrupt Ilsa during an argument.
“But do I find out by my dear friends telling me their happy news? No, I find out by catching you two snogging in the cupboard like teenagers. Now what do you have to say for yourselves?”
Cormoran and Robin glance at the other, feeling more like scolded children than two adults in a new but committed relationship. As the ridiculousness of the situation dawns on her, Robin can’t help as her laughter begins and is soon joined by Cormoran until finally a giggling Ilsa launches herself at them for an overjoyed hug.
