Draco and I have been together for 16 years.
After the war Draco got married at the age of 18 to Astoria Greengrass, and she fell pregnant right after. She gave birth to Scorpius Malfoy but unfortunately died while giving birth due to a family blood curse. Draco become a widowed single father for the first three months of Scorpius’s life until we met in a muggle London supermarket.
My relationship with Ronald never came to be because we thought we were better off as just friends. We didn’t want to take the risk of losing each other if our relationship didn’t work out. After the war I bought myself an apartment in muggle London. One day when I was out picking up a few things off my grocery store list, I came into contact with the one and only Draco Malfoy.
I was minding my own business and picking up my items when I heard the sound of a baby’s cry. I heard shushing and cooing sounds to calm down the baby but the little thing wouldn’t have it. I made my way to the baby aisle of the story and was met with the most precious, beautiful blond baby boy. His hair was the lightest of blondes almost white , and the most stormiest silver eyes. The moment I saw him I think I was in love. When I looked up to meet the parent it was none other than Draco.
From that point on the rest was history, I helped Draco with his baby crying problem and we have been together ever since.

16 years later and now here we are
I was reading a letter from professor Mcgonagall when Draco walked in through the door of our house.
He slid his hands around my waist and gave me a kiss to my cheek. “Hello love, what do you have there”. He murmured into my cheek
I turned around to face him and gave a small smile. “Well I was reading this letter I got from professor Mcgonagall about Scorpius”
Draco groans and says “What did he do this time”, while I frown a bit
“Well it seems as though our son and Albus decided to steal from the trolly on the train the day they left for spring break” I fold my arms and wave the letter.
Draco scoffs, and takes the letter to read for himself. “Honestly I have enough galleons in the world why would he steal”
I humm to agree. “My thoughts exactly, Scorpius and Albus have been quite the duo lately and I think he deserves to not be able to go out to the Quidditch game tomorrow”
Draco smirks and says “Well aren’t you quite diabolical, now that my love will teach our boy to behave, you know how he is with quidditch”
I nod my head to agree. “Scorpius” I yell, “Your father and I would like to have a word with you”
We hear footsteps coming down and then comes our teenage boy looking quite too tall for my liking, thank you very much. Couldn’t he have stayed little forever? I ask myself
I have my arms folded while raising my brows, “Well hello there Mr is there anything you would like to tell your father and I”
Scorpius looks at me with a face of confusion
“No? Well to my disappointment I received a letter from professor Mcgonagall telling me that you stole from the trolly?”
Scorpius winces at my words
“ I mean what were you thinking you have enough galleons, what would make you do such a thing”
“Mum it was just some sweets” Scorpius says , “We just wanted some sweets but we were to lazy to get our galleons out”
I frown, “ i did not raise you to be lazy young man or a thief for that matter”
“You and Albus have been misbehaving lately and I think it would be best that your actions finally have consequences, you are not allowed to go to the Quidditch match tomorrow with Albus”
He looks at me with anger, “ But it’s the biggest match of the season , you can’t not let me go, it’s not even a big deal it was just a few sweets!”
“No! You will not be going because you are grounded” , “This is your punishment you should have known better”
Scorpius scoffs “Dad say something!!”
“I think you should listen to you mother on this one” Draco says
Scorpius narrow his eyes at me and says “ Well why the hell should I listen to her , she not even my real mum “ he yells
Everything becomes quite.
The moment he says it he can’t take it back.
Draco looks at him with anger, while I’m standing here with tears welling up in my eyes.
I never felt so hurt in my life. And I think he just broke my heart.
The boy I raised with all my love , doesn’t even think me to be his real mum
“Mum i-i “ he whispers with regretful eyes
“I- I think it’s best I stay with my parents for a while” I whisper with tears falling freely as I back away from Scorpius and Draco
“Granger, come on you-“ he starts with despair in his voice
“I’ll be going now” I say while wiping my tears that won’t stop falling, I leave there as fast as I can because I think if Scorpius says one more thing I might not be able to bear it
“Mum wait “ is the last thing I hear before I floo to my parents house

Dad turns around to face me with eyes full of anger, “What the hell is wrong with you, why would you even think to say such a thing “he says
I shut my eyes, and whisper “ i didn’t mean it, I was just so angry that she wouldn’t let me go”
“Why would you say such a thing to her, she has done nothing but love you!”
“You know from the moment she saw you she told me she fell In love and I think that’s what made me fall in love with her . You were all but 3 months old and it was just you and I . I had no idea what I was doing but then she came along and she changed our lives! You have no idea the shit she has faced to prove to everybody how much she loves us or the sacrifices she made to keep you safe. She didn’t have to stick around and act as a mother figure for you but she did because she loves you!!” he says with anger
I listen to him with teary eyes , “ I know, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it . I wish I could take it back I didn’t mean to make her upset. She’s is my real mum, I have no idea why I said such a thing, merlin I’m so stupid” I say with hatred for myself
Dad looks at me and says “ I’m not the one you should be apologizing to, fix it because I think you just broke her heart”
With that he leaves and floos out of the house

Once I floo to the Granger home I’m met with Hermione’s sobs.
I look over to see her curled up on the sofa crying while no ones home.
“Granger” I say and she turns around to look at me with a tear stained face.
I walk over to her to hug her while she cry’s freely.
“shhhh, Granger he didn’t mean it”
She sniffles ands whispers “ He said I wasn’t his real mum. I know I didn’t give birth to him but he was always mine. I thought I could be good enough to raise him but now I know he doesn’t think me as him mum” she cries.
“No, my love you are his mum. Your his real mum, no matter what anyone says . You have been nothing but amazing to him but he’s being a little brat that can’t see all that you done for him”
She sniffles and whispers “ I love you”

Moments later Scorpius floos into the Granger home. He looks around and then sees his parents locked in an embrace on the sofa
“Mum , i- I’m sorry” I say while moving a step closer
I look at her with her tear stained face and realize how much I actually hurt her
“ I didn’t mean it mum. I’m so sorry, I don’t think anyone else is my mum but you. You’re the best and I don’t know what I would do without you. I love you please forgive me” I say with a softness in my voice
Mum gets up with tears welling up again to hug me
I bend down a bit to hug her so tight I think I might break her
She whispers “ I love you scorpius”
And I whisper “ I love you mum, I’m sorry “
