Work Text:
There are few things Sarawat enjoys more than slowly waking up after a deep sleep; the gentle lull back into consciousness, so gradual you barely register sleep ebbing away, leaving you sated and refreshed - but today isn’t one of the days such a luxury is afforded to him.
Sarawat jolts awake, heart thumping so loudly in his chest it takes a minute for him to register the outraged shriek that had woken him up. He clambers out of bed, feet slipping slightly on the linoleum in his haste to get to his howling boyfriend.
“What’s happening?” Sarawat asks when he reaches the bathroom, holding onto the door frame to stop from flinging himself into the bathroom.
“Wat! Look at this!” Tine shouts as he whips his heard towards the door, index finger pointing at his cheek.
“Your face?”
“This!” Tine repeats, jamming his fingers at his cheek for emphasis.
Sarawat squints, rubs his eyes, and flicks his fringe out of his eyes, but try as he might, he can’t figure out what he’s supposed to look at. “You’re very handsome?” he tries. Perhaps he’s still asleep and dreaming - that would explain the illogic of this situation.
“There’s a pimple, Wat!” and as Sarawat leans into his boyfriend, nose nearly grazing his, he finally discerns a tiny little red bump, skin slightly raised above the otherwise smooth expanse of Tine’s right cheek.
Sarawat can’t help the smirk that forms on his face at Tine’s dramatics; neither can he help but lean in the rest of the way to kiss the offending bump. “You’re still the most handsome guy I’ve ever met,” he declares as he pulls away. A bony shoulder shoves at his chest, but Tine’s pouting lips are tugging upwards in a smile.
“You’re cheesy,” Tine reprimands without any heat, and Wat takes the opportunity to give Tine another peck, this time on the lips, before turning around and returning to bed. A mollified boyfriend before 8 in the morning - he deserves 5 more minutes of sleep.
