1. Watch out for big black dogs. Even if said dogs aren’t really demonic in nature, they could be a cover-up for dangerous humans. For example: Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.
2. If you suddenly run into an autosave (or a save point), something big is about to happen.
3. Same thing for an increase in “random” drops of ammo, health packs, and flashlight batteries.
4. And for random shifts in music.
5. Contrary to logic, following trails of blood, especially when they show up out of nowhere, is a good idea. You’ll probably find something extremely plot-relevant.
