The Aftermath AU was an AU I came up with in early 2020, and have only developed from there. The story follows all the characters from Nightmare Run, and how they are doing after the event, which, I made a lot more tragic than it actually was in the game because...EdGy. Also it was kinda fun to make it more tragic so, uh, there.
Anyways, here's the main storyline:
The story itself mainly follows Dewey, or as many like to call him as an annoyingly funny nickname, Dewdrop, as he and the other characters wake up in a hospital room. Keep in mind this is all taking place in the cartoon universe in the 1940's, so it's not like it's insanely advanced in medical knowledge like now. However, the doctors did manage to have them at least live through the physical trauma. This came at a price, though, as all of the characters remember everything that happened that day (which will be August 15th because why not), and some of them are now facing emotional and mental trauma while others regret literally nothing. And that's how the first arc of the A U begins basically.
Keep in mind this arc is more dark than any of the others.
With all that out of the way, let's begin our story!
