White Star is dead. Western continent come to peace again. Everyone is relieved. Finally they can beat White Star and his subordinates.
But young master silver light is dead. The price paid for peace is very high. No one is happy when Crown Prince Alberu announced that they're win at this war.
Because they're lost their commander. Their hero. Someone who brought peace to Western continent especially Roan Kingdom.
Cale Henituse sacrificed himself at the last second of final battle. His body was never found. But everyone saw when his body shattered into pieces like glass and faded away, those memories imprinted on the heads of the citizens, especially his friends who fought on the front lines with him.
Its been one week since the final battle.
When the battle end, that doesnt mean that Alberu had time to be lazy, the proof was, that Alberu was up early in the morning to organize the documents piled on his desk, busying himself.
He just slept for 2 hours last night, no, after the final battle, he cant have a good sleep because he's always dreamed something.
In his dream, there was Cale.
Alberu shook his head. He dont have time to be sad, he's the crown prince. He must thinking about his citizen first. And then there's a lot that he has to do because the war is finally over.
Knock knock.
Someone knock his door. Alberu let out a sigh and said, "Come in." to someone who knock his door.
"Your highness."
Alberu looked up, he saw Rosalyn and Choi Han in front of him.
Rosalyn and Choi Han were someone who fought at the front line with him and Cale. They saw that moment too. Alberu know, by judging their looks now, they will never forget that moment.
They look terrible. Especially Choi Han. Alberu cant describe how they look but, at the first sight, Alberu knows why are they like this.
"Yes. Please have a seat, miss Rosalyn, instructor-nim."
Rosalyn and Choi Han sat on the chair. Alberu stood up and walked over to the tea set.
"A tea?" Alberu offered them.
Rosalyn and Choi Han nods. "I'll like to, your highness."
Alberu brewed a tea for three of them. After that, he put in on table and take one.
"So?" Alberu ask.
Rosalyn smile. She take the tea and drink it. "Your highness, you know, about the alchemist tower, we have finished it earlier."
Choi Han nods.
"Alchemist tower. I know you will be capable to finished it, miss Rosalyn. Anything you need?"
"Nothing, actually." Rosalyn let out a deep sigh. She stare at Alberu, who smile like usual himself in front of them.
"Your highness."
"Yes, Choi Han?"
"You should get enough sleep, your highness. A sun like you couldnt look so terrible like that in front of the citizens."
Alberu let out a chuckle. "Instructor-nim, you really speak like my dongsaeng, doesnt you?"
Suddenly, the atmosphere change. Alberu and Choi Han start to frown, and Rosalyn let out a deep sigh.
"I dont believe that he's dead." Said Rosalyn.
"He will not dead." Choi Han shook his head.
Alberu smile for a bit. "It looks like we cant let go of him if we're like this."
"But, your highness," Rosalyn look at him with teary eyes. "I believe he is live somewhere. We just dont know. You believe that too, right?"
Alberu shook his head. He looks at the window, he can hear the sound of bird singing and the wind blowing.
Alberu still remember when Eruhaben told everyone with a shock face that he couldn't sense Cale's existence anymore. Like Cale just disappeared. Everyone was in shock. Some of them do not believe it and have a little bit of belief that it is a lie. But dragons never lie.
On and Hong was crying. The siblings dont believe it. They're told Eruhaben was lying. Eruhaben doesnt angry, but he hug them and pat their head.
He still remember what Raon do after Eruhaben told them that, he goes angry at Eruhaben and told him that he dont believe it. Raon dont believe that his human is disappeared.
"Goldie gramps! My human is always kept his promise to me! How could he disappear and break our promise to travel together!"
"You highness." Rosalyn call him.
"Maybe... he's really gone."
Right. Three of them remember when Cale sacrificed himself. That was a nightmare that they're always have when sleep.
Choi Han pounded the table. "You highness, how can you be so pessimist?!"
Alberu ignored his disrespectful attitude. He looks at Choi Han. "But you saw that, right? I dont know why he did that but i saw it with my own eyes that he was disappeared."
Rosalyn grit his teeth. "Choi Han was right, your highness, how can you be so pessimist? He is your own dongsaeng."
"I am not pessimist butー"
Choi Han grabbed his clothes. Alberu can tell from his eyes that he was angry.
But nothing can they do. Even if they fighting, it wont make Cale back.
Choi Han sigh. He let go of his grip.
"I will be leaving, your highness." And then he said that as he bowing and leave his place.
Rosalyn stood up. "I should take a leave too, your highness. Please take care of yourself." Then leave as well.
Alberu felt a headache.
He go to his desk and open the second locker at it.
Alberu not being pessimistic, he never want to forget that moment when Cale disappeared. In a small corner of his heart, he believe that Cale was alive too.
But he cant forget how Cale's looks that day.
He was bleeding all over his body, also his body was cracked in several places, yet he still smile when he looks at Alberu. Cale whispered to him.
But Alberu dont remember what he whispered.
Alberu rub the picture of Cale. Actually, this is a picture of their subordinates, but Alberu only focused on Cale. He doesnt smile on that pict, but Alberu could imagine how beautiful Cale would be when he smiled.
If only he can save him...
Alberu doesnt want to cry. He cant cry.
But he felt tears flow from the corners of his eyes.
Alberu cried for the first time after he lost Cale. He cried until he cant breath. Maybe, he's the last person who cried when Cale disappeared.
One week. He think he was letting Cale go. Even if he told him that he believe Cale was gone, he had always hoped that Cale would one day show up in his room, eat cookies with raon and say that alberu looked really bad after a week.
He also hopes that cale will come and demand for his slacker life in Alberu. So Alberu would gladly give him.
But that didnt happen.
Alberu wiped his tears.
"If only i can meet you again, then i will guard and pocket so you dont go anywhere and make such a big sacrifice."
Alberu fall asleep.
He's dreaming.
In his dream, he saw Cale Henituse, he wear the outfit he wore the day he sacrified himself. His outfit was still covered with blood, just like Cale's face. But Cale's eyes were very clear.
Cale Henituse was smiling. Alberu felt his heart ache. He looks at Alberu and Alberu remember this smile, that was smile when Cale want to scam someone.
"Hyung."
Alberu had a shock.
"Dongsaeng?"
Cale said something, but Alberu cannot hear what he said. Alberu panicked. He feels that Cale said something important but he cant hear anything.
He suddenly saw that Cale Henituse suddenly disappeared. He still smile at Alberu while disappear like a dust.
"Wait, Cale!"
And he suddenly woke up.
Alberu hold his head. He feels like he had a headache.
Ting.
Alberu think he nudge something.
When Alberu looks around, he realized that he was not in his office. He still remember that he was fell asleep in his desk.
But where is he now?
Alberu looks at his own reflection in the puddle. He was in his dark elf appearance. Dark skin and dark hair...
Alberu shocked. He try to change himself, and it finally works. Now he has his crown prince appearance with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Alberu relieved. Now he look around again. He was in a small alley. He was alone. And when he exiting the alleyway, he could see high-rise buildings everywhere, busy pedestrians, and streets filled with vehicles.
"Oh, do you know, we live on earth, dear. It is the third planet from the Sun." A mom talked to his child. And Alberu can hear them.
Earth?
But the last time he travelled to Kim Roksoo's earth, it was terrible.
But look at it know, it is so beautiful. The buildings, the vehicles that he doesnt know, everything is beautiful.
Does this mean that he was transferred at another earth?
Will he meet Cale?
Alberu's heart skipped a beat. He start to running. He want to find Cale. It doesnt matter when everyone look at him with a strange look.
He is looking for everywhere. But he cannot found Cale. He cannot found that beautiful red hair that always haunt his dream.
Alberu tired. He sat on a chair near the park. He is alone. He is hungry. He is tired. But he need to found Cale.
That was raining. Alberu dont know where to shelter from rain. He still sat on the chair and he think he will passed out.
Suddenly, he cant feel the rain anymore. Alberu looked up, to find someone umbrella him and he is shocked.
Caleー no.
Kim Roksoo...?
"Hey."
That person call him. Alberu look at him with a horror face and like a person who could pass out at any moment.
"Looks like i've met you before."
And Alberu passed out.
