Moving was always absolute chaos, and this time was no exception.
You and Jason had been given a rather nice, large apartment within Gotham a few weeks before, and now that everything was packed at your old place it was time to move into the new one. The transition had been stalled for several days because of the way Jason kept trying to get his adoptive father to take it back. You couldn’t blame him, though. A couple of street-rat kids like you living in the lap of luxury in a penthouse? Ridiculous.
Nevertheless, there you were, lugging boxes from the elevator to the living room in a strange sort of relay where Jason was the one putting them into the elevator and sending them up.
Now, one might ask how this was chaos if the group of people helping you complete this move were organized enough to have this sort of relay. The answer to that would be simple.
At some point, Titus managed to slip past Damian and steamroll his way to you and promptly plowed you over. So there you were, lying on the ground with a great dane slobbering all over you to show his affection.
“Dami!” you called, hands idly petting the excited animal. “Come collect your beast!”
Of course while you were at this shining display of dignity was when the elevator opened to reveal your boyfriend. Who immediately started laughing at your plight.
“Problems, babe?” he teased, teal eyes dancing with mirth.
“Oh, you know, just the local hellhound seeking to collect my soul.”
“So a normal Saturday, huh?”
