Work Text:
Keigo was in his 2nd year at UA and was excited to finally be invited to his best friend's house for the first time. Touya Todoroki was elusive as he was a smartass. It took a lot to be there with him and show the older teen that he wouldn't leave to get Touya to trust him finally. Keigo knew that many people tried to get closer to the Todoroki's because of how Endeavor was the No.2 hero in Japan. But that wasn't the case for Keigo.
No.
He genuinely was interested in Touya as a person. Keigo saw him as an individual who had been hurt a lot but still strived to be the best he could be. It was something that Keigo, himself, looked up to.
So here he was, a year later from meeting Touya at the entrance exam, standing in front of the Endeavor guest house (since the main house was hidden from the public for obvious reasons). Keigo took a steadying breath before knocking on the door. It only took a few moments before the door swings open.
Keigo's jaw dropped.
Standing in front of him was an angel. A shirtless angel. Freckles dusted along this man's soft pale skin, making trails all over his body. The angel had prodding hip bones with a matching set of collarbones decorated in a pink flush. Eyes straining upward, the angel had a soft smile on bow lips, thick and plump. And those eyes, holy shit, those eyes were beautiful; a green hazel color with speckles of blue. The angel's hair was fluffy, messy even, with streaks of red in the soft white color.
"Uh, can I help you?" The angel asked with a small chuckle.
Keigo realized he had been staring for an uncomfortable amount of time and swallowed in embarrassment.
"I-I am SO sorry!" He bowed in a frantic attempt to beg for forgiveness.
"Who's at the door?" Another voice asked, this one now familiar. Spiky red hair came from around the corner of the staircase near the entrance, and bright blue eyes landed on Keigo. "Oh, it's bird boy. Let him in."
"Awww, but he's so cute when he begs," Angel giggled, stepping aside for Keigo to walk in.
Touya rolled his eyes and stood next to the angel, arms crossed over his chest. Immediately, Keigo could see that the angel was a good few inches taller than his friend, and instead of the boyish features Touya still had, the angel was more chiseled, grown up. Keigo slowly entered, eyes not leaving the white-haired beauty.
"Takami, this is my older brother Izuku."
Wait...what????
"Older brother? But, I thought you were the oldest Todoroki child?"
Izuku snickered and shook his head, the white hair falling into his eyes. "Nah. I am technically the oldest, but when I was diagnosed as quirkless, I became useless to daddy dearest. So Touya is now technically the heir to the Todoroki household."
"Until Shoto is old enough, anyway," Touya snorted.
Izuku sighed but couldn't help but agree with his younger brother. It was sad but true. The youngest Todoroki was only 8 years old and already had the pressure of Endeavor against him. Izuku did his best to protect his baby brother, but their father truly was a monster. Thank Recovery Girl for being able to heal all the burns before they turned to scars.
"Anyway, hi! I am Todoroki Izuku, but you can call me--"
"Problem child," A new voice called out from the living room area.
Keigo peeked over the Todoroki brother's shoulders and saw two familiar faces. It was Yamada Hizashi and Aizawa Shouta, new graduates from UA. They were third years in Keigo's first year.
"I am not a problem child! Just because you are a few months older than me doesn't mean--"
"You always get into shit you aren't supposed to. That makes you a problem child," Aizawa continued blandly.
Izuku pouted, looking extremely adorable. It caused Keigo to flush and look away in embarrassment. Touya snickered at his friend and nudged him further inside.
"Go back to your boyfriends, Izu, and leave my friend alone."
Izuku, Yamada, and Aizawa all sputtered at Touya's words, one look of mock outrage and two looks of betrayal. As if their attraction to Touya's older brother was a secret. Sheesh.
"Get outta here, you brat," Izuku huffed fondly, shoving Touya to the stairs making the teen laugh.
It was nice. Touya never laughs at school. Keigo couldn't help but smile, following his friend up the stairs and into one of the five bedrooms.
"So...." Touya started, smirking over his shoulder at Keigo.
"Y-Yes?"
"You stared pretty obviously at my big bro. Do I need to give you the shovel talk? Our dad sure as hell ain't gonna do it."
"W-WHAT?! NO! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT! HE'S JUST REALLY COOL LOOKING AND NICE!" Keigo denied, arms flailing as his wings twitched from behind him.
Touya hummed in disbelief but let it go...for now.
