The first time their hands met it was when Jake almost slipped off a large stone, Felix reached for him, taking his waving hand and pulling him to safety. At first Felix believed magic was the reason behind the tingling sensation, but knew deep down it wasn’t the only reason.
The second time it was when Jake handed him food, their fingers met briefly, but the tingling sensation was still there. Felix could see Jake noticed it as well, his eyes focusing on their fingers before he slowly pulled his hand away.
The third time was different, they were both standing near each other, their hands not even an inch apart. Felix could feel the hand next to him, but he knew there were limits, and he wouldn’t cross those lines. However, he didn’t have to cross any line as the next thing he knew was Jake’s fingertips brushing against his hand. It shocked him, but in a good way, and before he could help himself he turned his hand and brushed his own fingers against Jake’s. Their fingers traced each other a few seconds before they twisted into a grip, the tingling increasing as they continued to hold hands, their fingers constantly caressing each other. They continued to hold hands until someone interrupted them. The instant they heard footsteps both pulled their hands away.
