Chapter Text
Hadrian silently watched on his improved Marauders map how Tom enjoyed the pleasure he is receiving. The burn on his chest won't subside and he let it. He let Tom break his heart and their own bond. He let the pain and he just screamed, he screamed because while Tom is enjoying his own pleasure, he feels like dying.
His voice hoarse, his eyes were crying blood, his mouth taste like copper and his whole chest feels like it had been burned by a fire, and he let it. He let himself enjoy the pain, he welcomed it. He watch how Tom moaned somebody else's name, he watch how Tom forget his name, how Tom forget his promise of love on him, he let the man he love break everything.
His vision was starting to swarm, he knows he is losing too many blood. He watched how Tom came on top of the Hufflepuff student and he smiled, welcoming the warm presence of Death.
"Master." Death's gravely voice welcomed him. He smiled and waved his hand. He don't feel anything. He can't feel anything anymore.
"Hi, Death. How's life?" His laugh was a hollow one.
"I didn't expected to meet you soon, Master."
"No one did, not even my group." Death made his way towards his Master, offering some comfort on his hurting master. Death promised some revenge to Tom Riddle for hurting Hadrian. How dare he hurt Hadrian when all Hadrian did was let him know and feel he love him?
"You should go back, Master. I'll visit you when I can. I hope to see you soon again."
Nine students worriedly exited Slytherin common room, glancing everywhere to find their own leader.
"Black, Gray, and Green. The three of you search the kitchen, message us using our rings." Said students nodded their head before breaking apart the group, "Bronze, Yellow and Orange. You go to the entrance of Chamber of Secrets, same instructions, use the rings. Silver and Red, with me. We'll search on Room of Requirements."
After giving instructions, they all parted ways. On the way to the Room of Requirements, Blue bumped into Tom.
"Hey, have the three of you saw Hadrian?" He asked with a smile, making Silver frown.
"No, and even if we did, we won't let you near him." Silver answered, her voice was devoid of emotion. Her eyes glared with hardness.
Blue looked at her with questioning eyes, while Tom only raised his eyebrow. "And why is that, Miss Luna?"He asked politely, trying to use his charm.
"Because I won't let someone like you to hurt my brother, you of all people should know that when you bed someone, your partner will suffer with pain and insecurities. And you just did that." She said with finality before continuing their plan of checking if Hadrian's in the RoR.
"What's that, Silver?" Red asked. Silver frown again, her eyes were glinting dangerously.
"Haven't you noticed? There's a semen in his robe and hickeys on his neck and jaw. And if he did that with Hadrian, he should be with him instead of asking us if we saw him." Red cursed viciously, while Blue silently planning to research different potions to poison someone.
Arriving in the tapestry, Silver calmly paced three times, thinking of her brother. When a door opened, they quickly entered the room, only to find out a passed out and bloody body of Hadrian.
Blue and Red gasped before rushing to Hadrian, cursing viciously. "Red, carry him to the Hospital Wing while I fed him a blood replenishing potion. Blue, tell the others that we found Hadrian and that they need to go and wait for us in the Hospital Wing." Silver ordered, Red and Blue did what they were told to do.
"What happened?" Green asked, seeing Hadrian's body, "Merlin." They haven't thought that it's like this when they're waiting for them. They just thought Hadrian passed out.
They all entered the Hospital Wing while the twins shouted for the matron. Red immediately set Hadrian on a bed.
"Morgana, what happened to Hadrian? Why is he bleeding?" The matron frantically asked, the floor from RoR to the Hospital Wing was covered with blood.
Before they can answer, the door opened, revealing the Headmaster with Dumbledore and Slughorn.
"What happened, children?" Slughorn darted to immediately check if Hadrian's still alive.
"We have found him bleeding like this, we have already fed him a blood replenisher, we tried to stop the bleeding but he won't stop bleeding. Silver, I mean Luna stated we can't do anything but we still tried." Blue explained but she was also nervous.
"There's also no magical residue on where we found him." Red explained, silently clutching Blue's hand. Offering some sort of comfort.
The matron was about to ask where they found Hadrian when Luna spoke, her voice was calm and deceiving, "There won't be magical residue," The others turn to look at her with questioning eyes. "It's his soul bond, broken and damaged because of his soulmate." Understanding dawned on them, leaving the adults confused. The teens' eyes had a dangerous glint on them, promising retribution for their leader and friend.
"Soul bond? Why would he marry someone this young?" The Headmaster asked, he looked at Slughorn who shook his head, indicating he didn't know anything about it.
"He doesn't have a choice with that, Headmaster. It's a natural soul bond." The adults gasped, natural soul bond isn't common, it is rare and treasured. They knew that broken soul bond can severely affect a person, it can cause the person to die or worse, devoid of emotions. Alive but not quite living. Surviving and not living.
"Who would damage this kind of bond! It's a blessing from Lady Magic!" Slughorn exclaimed loudly, fury and horror underneath his calm facade.
"Maybe his soulmate doesn't know about the bond?" Dumbledore suggested, earning a few outrage groan.
"Of course his soulmate will know, Professor." Silver stated hardly. "How can a soul bond form without the other person's knowledge?" She daringly asked the Professor, slightly taken aback from the hardness of her voice.
"But if his soulmate know.. Maybe he doesn't know? Who would dare broke Lady Magic's blessing?" Dumbledore spluttered, not quite believing someone would want Lady Magic's wrath.
"Oh he knows. He so knows." Red declared, remembering Silver's statement earlier. His fist curling tightly, leaving marks on his palm.
"And I am sure that if his soulmate craves a flesh, there's nothing Hadrian can do but let the bond be broken. I am pretty sure that I know Hadrian, he's probably welcoming Death's warm embrace now." The other three girls gasped and cried, they all knew Hadrian's selflessness to the point that he let everyone take everything even though there won't be anything left for him.
Black, Yellow and Red offered the best comfort they could give to their crying friends.
"He? Are you stating that you all know who's his soulmate? How can we stop the bleeding?" Headmaster Dippet asked the distraught and crying students.
The blonde girl called Silver only shook her head solemnly.
"We know who's his soulmate and we would never ever let him near my brother again. If I have to say anything, I will hide Hadrian from the world. He doesn't deserve the world's selfishness and greed." She muttered under her breath. Not noticing the way the adults look at Hadrian's body with pity. "We can't stop it, it will stop eventually. We just hope that at the time it stops, he still have enough blood to be alive."
And right at the moment, Hadrian started to wake up, looking for his sister. "Sil- Silver! Lun- Lu- Luna! Hurts. God, hurts. Make- Make it- stop. Ahhh!"
Silver rushed to his brother's side. "Harry, I am here. Harry? Hadrian? We're here." Hadrian held Silver's forearm tightly, tears started to form on his closed eyes. "It's okay, shh. You're okay. We love you. It's fine." She whispered sweet comforting words on his ear, hugging him tightly, as if afraid that he would leave her.
He whimpered, crying. Silver barely managed to hold back her fury, she hummed a song while patting his back soothingly.
"Can we all stay, Headmaster? I don't think Hadrian will appreciate if he wakes up and find one of us missing and out of his sight." Bronze suggested, earning an apprehensive look from Dumbledore and a contemplating look from the Headmaster, who only nodded his head, knowing full well that even without permission, the teens will still find a way to stay with their friend.
