Claire hadn’t intended for herself to fall in the half-full glass of whiskey, or for her makeshift grappling hook to snap just as she’d stolen another sip from the glass. The cold liquid made her skin grow cold with goosebumps. She cursed internally and paddled half-heartedly to the farthest side of the glass, scrambling up and trying to grasp the rim, to no avail, she slipped into the alcohol every time
She froze suddenly as she felt gravity shift, and a quick glance around would reveal that the glass was being lifted to the man’s lips, and in a panic, she clawed to slip out of the glass before, in a stroke of bad luck, the liquid sloshed and slipped past the man’s lips, carrying her with it. And then she was met with warm darkness, and the scent of whiskey burning at her lungs. She...for once, she had no clue what to do, her mind had blanked in her panic
Her heart was in her throat the second three, successive gulps sounded around her, it dawned on her very quickly the man was swallowing her with the whiskey, and she was hardly given time to scramble her way back into his maw before the esophagus ensnared her entirely. The throat kneaded and squished her, and she could hardly breathe as she was dragged further into the pred’s gullet
Minutes later, the compressing muscles had opened up and allowed her to spill into the taller’s middle, she cringed at the gurgle that announced her arrival as she warily pressed herself into the fleshy walls farthest from the center of the organ, her breaths were uneven and shaky...She...she’d been eaten, and...and the human didn’t even notice her
She bit her lip and exhaled deeply, squeezing her eyes shut for a moment before warily dipping a hand in the liquid, expecting a tingly, stinging feeling to meet her skin but...the liquid merely sloshed at her hand, and when she lifted her hand to her face, even in the darkness, she could tell her hand wasn’t burned from acid. Sighing in relief, she leaned against the wall, glad that her surroundings were harmless to her. Though unease settled in her belly at her situation
Leon winced inwardly at the warm weight that passed his collarbone, and eventually spilled into his stomach
Then, he realized abruptly, the weight currently in his core, was moving, and very much alive, panic seized a hold of his heart at the realization. He was quick to tip the bartender before swiftly heading outside, a hand rested over his middle protectively, his path set straight for his apartment, so he could hopefully cough up the poor creature nestled deep within his gut and...the both of them could forget this ever happened.
A few hours would land the man, and the tiny hidden beneath his skin in his drab, relatively small apartment in a corner of downtown Raccoon City, Leon rushing to his bathroom sink the second he’d shrugged his coat off, heaving heavily so that maybe, just maybe, the stomach muscles would push the smaller of the two up into his esophagus Claire yelped as the stomach muscles collapsed in on her, kneading at her roughly. Her heart picked up a beat, was digestion finally kicking in? Was she wrong about her surroundings? In an act of panic, she shoved her boot and hands into the walls, so they’d stop squishing her so tightly
Then she realized, digestion wasn’t commencing, and her life wasn’t in danger, and the lungs above her shuddering proved that, the human that had swallowed her down was trying to spit her out, get her out of his core She counted how many attempts the human around her had attempted to cough her up, four, four times. He was...oddly concerned about her safety, for someone who just ate her alive
On the fourth try, with nothing to show for it, Leon had given up, flopping gingerly on his bed in defeat, he settled a hand over the tiny’s form and kneaded into her, gently “Hey...I’m sorry this happened, I—” A pause “Should have been more careful, I’m really sorry.” A few comforting kneads followed the man’s apology Claire could hear the guilt in the man’s voice, and grimaced. She got them both into this mess in the first place, she exhaled lightly, before she traced over the stomach muscles lightly with a hand “Hey...hey, I’m not hurt. Ya don’t have to be sorry. I’m okay…” Leon shuddered at the small hands running over his innermost flesh, and couldn’t help the relieved sigh that escaped his lips “Okay, okay. That’s good.” He murmured softly, kneading at the woman’s shape “The name’s Leon, by the way.” “Claire.” A pause “Claire Redfield.” came the woman’s response, patting at the flesh, before she settled into the soft, warm walls surrounding her. The man around her hummed in response, before gently shifting so that he was on his back. He prodded at her, this time, curiously “What...even landed you in there anyways?” he inquired
The small woman winced slightly, swallowing before speaking up again “Might’ve uhh...fell, into your drink. Grappling hook kinda...snapped” she added, sinking deeper into the flesh, as if in embarrassment. Thinking about it, she could have easily prevented the line from snapping if she’d tightened it around the rafter. Damn her stubbornness
Leon froze for a moment as the smaller of the two applied more pressure to his innermost walls, it made him shiver. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it felt odd nonetheless, though the oddest sensation was when the woman tucked away, began kneading, tracing little shapes into the walls The loud purr that pulled from his throat made him widen his eyes in surprise, for a moment he assumed it was thunder, but when the noise made his chest buzz, the assumption was quickly shot down
Claire paused for a moment, confusion riddled her features before she traced subtly over the drool coated flesh again, applying pressure to where it folded beneath her hands, and kneaded, smiling softly when the purrs rolled around her and made her chest thrum like she was in the middle of an earthquake “Wh-prhhhhhhrh-what are you doing—” Leon was cut off by another rumble pulling from his throat. Claire was quick to shush him, and knead further into the flesh like a cat kneading into a soft blanket, not even flinching at the PRHHHHHHRHHHHHRHHRHHRH that rolled around her in the darkness “Jeez, that bad, huh?” The woman teased, softly, giggling warmly at the barely audible ‘Mhm’ from above
Drowsiness came swiftly to Leon, the warm weight of Claire tucked away within him made his middle feel stuffed, and he couldn’t help but curl around her protectively. He gave a gentle prod into her shape “You sure you’re gonna be okay in there?” he inquired, awaiting the woman’s response idly
Claire, half-succumbed to the warmth, perked up. Pressing a hand into the flesh with a content sigh “Yeah, I’ll be okay. Don’t worry.” she assured, her safety had been attested to, the organ cradling her never threatening once to harm her, it merely caked her in slime, which was admittedly a little gross but given the comfort of her surroundings, she wasn’t complaining
The man around her patted at her lightly, stretching carefully, as to not compress her further within his confines “Alright...just, wake me up if anything happens. Okay?”, and at that, Claire rolled her eyes “I’ll be fine, stop worrying so much, ya dork.” Leon let out a sheepish rumble at the woman’s words “Fine...fine, but still-” “Shush, just go to sleep” Came the brunette’s somnolent reply, snuggling into the flesh as if it were a pillow, and the blonde huffed in amusement, shifting on his side before curling around the other again, before sleep soon dragged him under
Claire listened as Leon’s breathing became soft and even around her, that paired with the rhythmic sound of his body’s inner workings, made her follow soon after in sleep, nestling contentedly into the flesh before she became practically dead to the world, tucked safely and surely beneath flesh, and bone.
