Work Text:
You and Damian were clinging to Jason for dear life, that was the only way to describe the way the two of you had latched onto him as soon as he entered the private training room where you’d been teaching Damian.
“Come on, guys,” he chuckled, arms wrapped around you two despite his protests. “I wasn’t even gone long this time.”
“You gone too long, baba,” Damian’s stilted English argued, a pout puckering that adorable face of his.
“Yes, he was,” you agreed. “Talia needs to stop sending you away.”
“I need this training, sweetheart,” Jason sighed after pressing a kiss to your forehead. “It’s the only way–”
“You’re gonna beat the Bat,” you finished for him. “I know. Doesn’t mean you can’t visit, mister. It’s been four months!”
A smile bloomed on his face once more as he hoisted Damian up into his arms to rest on his hip. “Alright, fair enough. I’ll try to visit next time.”
“No next time!” Damian insisted. “You stay here, baba!”
You shared a look with Jason. Then the two of you moved as one to press dramatic kisses to the boy’s cheeks. Any complaints Damian had dissolved with his composure as he broke down into a fit of giggles, his tiny hands pushing at your faces playfully.
