Paper Flyers

Summary:

They lived the life they'd wish for, In a beautiful Island, Just the two of them living a peacefully quiet life.

The Island wasn't always this beautiful; They worked hard to achieve what it has now.

And, They still want to add as much nature they can. It still lacked it, In Skeppy's opinion. So he decides to plant a tree; A tall one, perhaps.

Chapter 1: Request

Chapter Text

Even before living with eachother, They did everything together; Loving eachother’s company.

So, It wasn’t that shocking when they decided to buy an Island to live alone; Together ofcourse.

They did lots of things, One of those being Gardening. When they bought the island, It looked rather dry. They tried their best to make it more alive and filled with nature.

Skeppy noticed that even with all the lovely plants everywhere, The fresh smell of the air, and the lively look, Their area still looked plain.

“Bad?” Skeppy took a step back from the window, Eyes on his brunette-haired friend which was busy making their breakfast.

Bad hums in acknowledgement, Mixing milk, flour, sugar and butter inside the bowl with a whisker.

“Our area is looking kinda basic.” He lazily sat down at their window alcove. “I want to grow a tree there.” He says, Pointing somewhere on their lawn.

“Hm.” Bad hums again, Clearly not listening to Skeppy’s desires. He sighs, Peeking out he window again.

He’ll talk to Bad later.

Breakfast was ready, Silence filled.

Skeppy was effortlessly munching on his pancake, It tasted a little too sweet; He put too much syrup on accident.

The little project he had earlier was still in his mind, He repeatedly imagined how the tree would possibly turn out.

Bad laughs at Skeppy fondly; “What’re you smiling about, Mr. Skeppy?” He asks, muffled from the pancake in his mouth.

“Nothing.” Skeppy leans back, His back pressed against the wooden chair. “I was thinking, Could we possibly plant a tree?”

“Ofcourse we can. We still have a lot of saplings.” Bad uses his fork to point at Skeppy, “Since you bought too much of it.” He shakes his head in disappointment.

“I figured that we’d ran out eventually.” —and he’s right. They had limited supplies, Everytime it ran out they had to use a boat back to a city, they had to work their hands off by rowing; Skeppy honestly hated it. I mean, who couldn’t?

“Right.” They spent a lot of money just to provide food. Heck, They even built the house they were in right now. It was a standard wooden house with two floors.

Bad took a drink of his water, “Where do you want to plant it?”

“Anywhere."
