Work Text:

Felix had a pout sat firmly on his lips as he shuffled to his room, his wet hair dripping onto a pink towel that Changbin had thrown over his shoulders and Seungmin’s too-big pyjamas hanging drowsily off Felix’s body.

His strawberry-shaped slippers were soft against the floor, his blond hair stuck to his face and making his freckles shine. His eyes were half-closed with exhaustion, his feet taking him to his bedroom on pure muscle memory alone as he prayed that no members had left themselves or any of their possessions in his path where they could be bumped into.

Thankfully, Felix’s journey was pretty uneventful as he finally made it to his room, sticking out a tiny hand to push his door open and shuffle inside.

He heard the tell-tale sound of a laptop closing and a few blankets shuffling in place before a smile worked its way onto his lips at the giggle that echoed its way around the room at the no doubt comical sight of a bundled up, exhausted Felix trying to walk with his eyes closed.

“Hello, little one,” came the friendly voice wrapped in the homely accent, “Did you have a nice shower?”

Felix just pouted at question, throwing himself forward to collapse stomach-first on where Chan was already waiting on Felix’s bed.

“Binnie-hyung and Minnie made the water cold and they were torturing me with it,” Felix answered in English, his voice more a whine than its usual low-pitched brassy tone, “They were mean.”

Chan responded with another chuckle, Felix whining again at the feeling of a big hand reaching out to tangle in his wet hair, tickling at the strands.

“Aww, my poor baby,” Chan cooed from above him, “Do you want me to beat them up for you?”

Felix just snorted from where his face was pressed into his blanket, “Seungmin’s too smart and sneaky for you to beat up,” he said, “And I’m not sure what chance you have against Changbin-hyung’s giant arms.”

“Hey!” came the whine from above, a finger flicking playfully into the back of Felix’s head, “I have giant arms too!”

“Yeah,” Felix said dreamily, shifting his head around so he could press his cheek against the blanket and smile up at Chan, lifting up a clumsy hand to wrap around one of his biceps, “My big, beefy boyfriend.”

“How flattering,” Chan grinned at Felix, flicking him again on the forehead this time, “You want me to dry your hair?”

Felix whined into the blanket, “Will I have to move?”

“Well, if you don’t want to drip water all over your own bed then, yes, probably,” Chan said, his voice half-amused, half-serious, “You can sit on my lap if you want.”

“Well, I guess that’s a fair deal,” Felix muttered happily, lifting up a hand and squeezing it in Chan’s direction to signal that if Chan wanted Felix to move, he was going to have to make that happen himself.

Chan rolled his eyes, but made no other complaints as his strong arms moved to Felix’s waist and pulled him up, Felix groaning loudly as he was manhandled onto Chan’s lap.

“There you go, little troublemaker,” Chan said once Felix was finally settled, reaching down to pick up the hairdryer from the floor where Chan had left it after drying his own hair, “Hot or cold dry, baby?”

“Hot,” Felix turned to pout at him, “I’ve had enough of boyfriends teasing me with cold stuff today.”

Chan giggled as he fired up the hairdryer, the sound warm and wonderful and beautiful and making Felix’s heart swoop in his chest, even when Chan completely disregarded everything Felix had said to send a giant blast of cold air right into his face.

“Ya!” Felix cried out, batting at the hairdryer, “Don’t be mean!”

“I’m sorry, sunshine,” Chan said mischievously, his voice suggesting that he wasn’t sorry in the slightest, even when he pressed a playful kiss onto the back of Felix’s neck, “I couldn’t resist.”

Felix continued grumbling, but fell silent when Chan finally switched the hairdryer to a hotter setting, using one hand to blast it at Felix and the other to run his fingers softly through Felix’s hair.

The exhaustion Felix had already been feeling and Chan’s tender touches were enough to have Felix dozing again as Chan continued to dry his hair. He felt himself go boneless in Chan’s lap, his head clearing and face relaxing as he welcomed the warmth and contentment spreading all through his body.

Chan continued to hum from behind him, a soft smile staying on his face as he scrunched his fingers in Felix’s hair, running the hairdryer over the wet strands and feeling his chest warm as Felix gradually relaxed more and more against him.

By the time Chan was done, Felix was borderline comatose in his arms, his eyes closed and chest running steadily up and down. The only sign he was awake was the small humming escaping from his lips, a familiar tune that Chan recognised to be one of the Day6 songs Seungmin liked to blast on a daily basis.

“There you go, little one,” Chan said as he powered down the hairdryer, rubbing a hand over Felix’s forehead and back through his now fluffy hair as he planted a kiss on the top of his bed, “Better now?”

Felix just hummed in response, his lips pulling up into a smile at the feeling of Chan’s soft eyes staring into him from above, “Thanks, hyung.”

“You’re very welcome,” Chan said in satisfaction, his Australian accent thick as he spoke in English, Felix cracking open to his eyes to see his dimples poking out on his cheeks and eyes pulled proudly into crescents.

Felix was about to reach up to poke his finger into a dimple when suddenly they both jumped at the door being thrown open, Chan having to dart his hands around Felix’s waist to stop him from falling off his lap.

The door smacked against the wall, Felix’s eyes opening fully to see a very wet Changbin stood in the doorway, his face pinched in irritation.

Seungmin was stood just behind him, a look on his face that beamed with ominous pride, the same expression he got whenever he’d just pulled off some mischief.

Felix couldn’t help but grin. Whatever teasing he had gotten with the cold water, apparently Changbin had just gotten it ten times worse.

Good ol’ Kim Seungmin. Felix could always rely on him to be a glorious nuisance to Changbin

“Give me that!” Changbin gave no warning as he stalked into the room, ripping up the hairdryer from next to Chan and Felix and whipping round to point it at Seungmin like a gun, not hesitating to instantly turn it up full-power and blast cold air directly into Seungmin’s face.

Seungmin choked and spluttered, his hands batting and face scrunched up as he turned and dived onto Felix’s bed, instantly squirming himself around to hide behind Chan and bury himself into Felix’s mountain of plushies.

Unfortunately, Changbin followed Seungmin with the hairdryer the whole way, which meant that when Seungmin was behind Chan and Chan was holding Felix in his lap, the makeshift hairdryer-gun ended up being pointed right in Felix’s face.

“Hey!” Felix exclaimed, his voice deep and menacing at yet another attack from one of his boyfriends, “Why are you all attacking me tonight?!”

“You’re protecting the traitor!” Changbin yelled back, still relentless with the hairdryer, “Let me at Kim Seungmin and you will be freed!”

“With pleasure,” it was Chan who responded this time, giving no other warning as he suddenly yanked Felix up against his chest and stood up from the bed like a titan readying for battle, sending a whole mountain of blankets and plushies flying to the ground and barging directly into Changbin as Felix could only grip onto Chan’s arms and scream.

Changbin was sent to the floor in all the mess, getting Seungmin right in the face with the hairdryer as he went down. Both of them yelled as they were hit, the noises joining Felix’s continued shrieking as Chan swung him around and threw him onto his back on Changbin’s bottom-bunk-bed.

Felix let out a loud oof as he landed, thinking he was finally free until a swoosh of air was all the warning he got before Chan was suddenly throwing himself stomach-first on top of him.

All the air left Felix’s lungs, a loud whine leaving his throat as Chan burst into laughter from above him and immediately shoved his face into Felix’s neck.

“Hyung!” Felix squirmed from underneath him, “Tickles!”

But that only seemed to excite Chan more, his hands instantly coming down to jab into Felix’s sides as Felix let out a high-pitched noise that even he didn’t know he could make.

“Changbin-hyung!” Felix screeched, “Save me!”

The hairdryer suddenly turning off was the only indication Felix got that Changbin had heard him when suddenly there was another swoosh of air and the sound of mattress springs squealing as Changbin leapt himself into the fray.

Changbin landed directly on Chan’s back, sending shock reverberating through the three of them as Felix wheezed so hard he swore his lungs shrivelled into a tiny little ball.

“No, you ginormous beasts!” Felix managed to exclaim at them, “Get off me!”

But Felix should have known better than to think his boyfriends would ever listen to him, and he also should have known better to think that their other boyfriend would see them all causing trouble and decide not to get involved.

Felix could only close his eyes and pray for his life as Seungmin’s footsteps echoed across the floor, a single second of silence encompassing the room before suddenly the giant tower of people flinched as Seungmin crammed himself into the bottom bunk directly on top of Changbin.

A giant, ugly snort left Felix’s lips as his entire body was flattened under the weight of three people. His eyes widened so hard he thought they were about to bug out his head, his lungs practically screaming at what they thought must have been a truck sitting on him.

“Guys,” Felix wheezed out, “You’re going to kill me.”

Felix could only manage to speak in a whisper, but fortunately all three of his boyfriends were pressed so tightly against him that they could all hear him loud and clear. They all spent a second gracefully laughing at his misfortune before Chan was suddenly staring down at Felix and giving him a wink that filled him with a mischievous kind of hope.

It was only a second later that Chan was suddenly roaring like a gladiator and using strong arms to push himself up and off Felix. Seungmin and Changbin both screeched like children, clinging to one another as they were thrown off Chan’s back and sent rolling and tumbling down onto the floor next to the bunk bed.

Felix could only watch them fall with wide eyes, thanking whatever miracle it was that had stopped them from hitting their heads on the top bunk.

“Hyung!” came Seungmin’s voice once he’d landed, muffled by the fact that Changbin was splattered on top of him, “What was that for?!”

“I think you’ve caused enough trouble tonight to deserve that, Kim Seungmin,” Chan merely responded, shifting so that he was no longer lying on top of Felix and instead curling around him, “I heard about the cold water incidents.”

“I’m surrounded by snitches,” Seungmin pouted, but breathed a sigh of relief when Changbin finally got off him, both of them staggering clumsily to their feet.

“And you two get off my bed!” Changbin exclaimed once he was upright, reaching out to whack Felix in his stomach and make him choke.

“It’s not my fault I’m here!” Felix exclaimed back, pouting, “Chan-hyung threw me here and then you all tried to crush me to death!”

“Aish, I guess that’s true,” Changbin relented, tilting his head as he moved his hand up from Felix’s stomach and instead gripped at both his shoulders, “I’ll help you then, baby.”

That was all the warning Felix got before he was lifted into the air for the second time that night, this time bridal style as Changbin secured him in his grip and Chan whined loudly at the loss of Felix’s warmth.

But Felix couldn’t hate the new development, not when Changbin was carrying him carefully to his bed and lowering him down onto it, directly in the middle of the pile of plushies and blankets that Seungmin had since picked up from the floor.

“Thank you, hyungie,” Felix smiled once he was settled, reaching out to ruffle Changbin’s still wet hair.

Changbin just pretended to still be annoyed at him, utterly failing when a smile worked its way onto his face and he reached down to pinch Felix’s cheek with a coo.

“Sleep well, my little Lixie,” Changbin said, turning to make his way back to his own bed now that Chan had pulled himself up to his top bunk and Seungmin was settled cross-legged on the floor drying his own hair.

The sounds of the hairdryer and Seungmin’s accompanying hums was enough to have Felix relaxing again as he turned over onto his side to face the wall, happily nosing at his pillow. His body relaxed into his sheets, the background noise fuzzing contently in his mind as sleep starting to gradually work its way around him.

Felix had almost dozed off when he heard Seungmin pass the hairdryer off to Changbin and stand up from the floor. Felix briefly wondered if Seungmin was going to go back to his own room before suddenly he felt his bed dip from behind him and another body worm its way under the blankets.

“Move over,” came Seungmin’s voice, soft but mischievous as Felix shuffled closer to the wall, making a happy little content noise when Seungmin moulded himself to Felix’s back and snaked an arm around his waist, “Goodnight, angel.”

“Goodnight, baby,” Felix said back, his voice deep and tired and making Seungmin shiver as the bass tone worked through him.

Felix just smiled sleepily to himself, closing his eyes to the feeling of Seungmin’s warmth across his back and the sound of the hairdryer as Chan and Changbin chatted quietly at the other end of the room.

No matter how much they teased him, Felix always found himself having sweet dreams when he went to sleep surrounded by his boyfriends.

That, of course, didn’t mean that Felix wasn’t going to wake up first and get them all back with a morning pillow fight, though.

Felix grinned to himself as he finally nodded off. His adorable boyfriends truly had no idea what was coming.
