Eugene stared at the cottage in front of him and Rapunzel, and as he kept looking at it, he noticed how old and messy it looked. He commented, “Well, it certainly looks like a place where she would hide."
“I just don't get it. She's dead! I saw her fall! And I know that I didn't let a tear fall on her body, because I didn't cry when she fell...And when we walked down the stairs I had calmed down already and she...wasn't there anymore. But she couldn't have survived the fall, she couldn't have...How can she possibly be back?", Rapunzel muttered, narrowing her pretty green eyes thoughtfully.
“That witch was full of surprises. I wouldn't be shocked if she had the power of coming back to life, she managed to trick me after all. ME!", he shrugged, trying to lighten up the situation by joking. He was nervous himself though. Who could blame him? That woman had killed him! Literally! That wasn't something that happened every day...Gothel had been a very dangerous woman, and he should've realized that before just running into the tower carelessly. The man shook his head to get rid of his thoughts, he didn't want to show how uneasy he felt, so he simply said, “Let's go inside and find out."
“Fine...But if she's really there, please let me handle the situation. She'll listen to me rather than to you...", Rapunzel told him and grabbed his hand, staying at his right side protectively. Then the couple went to the door and opened it, slowly stepping inside.
Eugene quickly looked to the side, fearing she might be hiding in the shadows again. No one was there. He let out a quiet sigh of relief and turned his head, seeing a path ahead of them, and a few doors. One was open, so Eugene quietly pointed at it, grabbing his sword as they walked over to the opened door. When the couple looked inside, someone rushed towards them, the man pointed his sword at them and his eyes widened when he recognized the person's face. That was indeed Gothel, but why wasn't she moving anymore? Shouldn't she have attacked him with her dagger by now?
He narrowed his eyes, when Rapunzel suddenly took a step towards the unmoving Gothel and frowned.
”She's...not real. That's a wax figure...", the princess muttered, looking just as confused as Eugene felt as he carefully pressed a finger on Gothel's cheek.
It's indeed wax!
“But...who would make a wax figure of her? I mean, not many people know her, right? The only reason I could think of would be to lure you here...I'm just wondering-", Eugene got cut off by a very familiar voice growling, “Why."
The young man turned around and his eyes widened as he realized who was standing behind Rapunzel and him. How delightful to see you again!, he thought, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
Cassandra stepped out of the shadows, taking some weird hood off of her head that Eugene had never seen before. Maybe she'd stolen it from someone when she had travelled back to Corona on his birthday?
“What are you doing here?", Rapunzel spoke up and Eugene stepped in front of her, hearing the nervousness in her voice. The man grumbled, “Yeah, we didn't invite you here. We were just about to make out, you know, it would be nice if we had some privacy."
Their former friend ignored him completely and explained, “My friend told me there were suspicious things going on.", she took a few steps towards them, but Eugene didn't move back, lifting his chin defiantly.
Rapunzel lifted an eyebrow as she said, “Your friend? Listen Cass, that little friend-"
“YOU GUYS DON'T BELONG HERE!", Cassandra snarled and took out her sword, pointing it at them and causing Rapunzel to tense up, Eugene could feel how her fingers dug into his shoulder nervously. He knew she didn't like swords being pointed at her boyfriend, especially not if it was someone who was good at fighting with sharp objects.
“Well, to be honest...Neither do you, Cassandra.", Eugene admitted, trying very hard not to smirk, but not quite managing to hide it.
The blue-haired woman glared at him and snapped, “Shut your mouth or I'll shut it for you, Fitzherbert. I will not hesitate to kill you, you should know that by now, shouldn't you?"
“Yeah well, good luck surviving if someone finds out you killed the prince of the dark kingdom.", he smirked a little, and Cassandra lifted her hand, ready to attack him with rocks as she snarled, “Even more of a reason for me to kill you, idiot!"
Before she could attack him though, Rapunzel called out:,,Wait!", and she stepped in front of him, desperately asking, “Can we just TALK about this?!", while she said that Eugene put his hands on her shoulders from behind.
“Blondie, I don't think that's possible anymo-", Cassandra once again interrupted the man by yelling, “I am through waiting!", she grew a few very big rocks right next to them, and suddenly the cottage turned and they all fell, Eugene holding Rapunzel as he yelped in shock and fear. The three of them landed in something hard and Eugene let out a gasp. His rib-cage started to ache terribly, but he forced himself to look up anyway.
“Rapunzel, are you okay?", the man immediately asked, and his girlfriend looked up, nodding slowly. Before Eugene could say anything else, Cassandra tried attacking him, causing the...oh, the mine-cart, to move and they rushed down some kind of roller coaster.
“What is this place?!", Cassandra asked, looking around in confusion as they moved forward quickly.
Certainly the last place I'll ever see if you keep attacking me!
“Worry about that later! Right now...duck!", Rapunzel gasped, and Eugene did, seeing a rock in front of them. The former friends made some turns in their cart, before they were roughly thrown to the ground, much to Eugene's dismay. His ribs hurt even more now.
Great idea to go here...
The man stayed on the ground, trying to catch his breath as he opened his eyes. He saw that Rapunzel was walking to some kind of exit, but Cassandra was behind her and he managed to warn her, “Rapunzel, watch out!"
The princess turned around, seeing her former friend starting to grow some rocks where she was standing. Her eyes widened in shock and she opened her mouth to gasp, “No no no!", when he saw her running away he let out a breath of relief. He saw her stopping in front of him and smiled, then he stared as the exit crumbled.
He rolled his eyes, groaning, “Great job, Cassandra! Now we're stuck in here!"
Being stuck with the woman who tried killing us several times these past few months. This can't get worse, can it?
“Perfect...locked in here alone with you!", Cassandra grumbled, crossing her arms like it wasn't her fault that they were stuck now. Eugene rolled his eyes at her and slowly got up, wincing slightly. Oh, his ribs hurt...All of a sudden, there was some kind of growl, the sound was loud and Eugene quickly covered his ears. The man walked over to some kind of edge, staring down. If someone fell down that thing, they would probably fall forever...
“Oh great, brought a friend of yours, how nice.", Eugene teased Cassandra, knowing it was risky. In response Cassandra glared at him and hissed, “I'm seriously considering killing you right now."
Oh, you'd miss me too much!
“Can we all just calm down? We're not gonna get out of here by killing each other! We WILL get out if we work together though.", Rapunzel said and held out a hand to Cassandra.
”Truce? Temporary truce? Teeny-tiny temporary truce?", she offered, smiling with hope in her eyes.
Eugene suppressed a sigh, knowing she wouldn't agree. And she didn't, of course not. That was typical Cassandra right there. She even snarled, “I don't need your help!", then she tried to clear the exit by using her rocks. His eyes widened slightly at that move as he realized she could bring the mountain down on all of them.
Rapunzel spoke his thoughts as she warned, “Cass stop! You could bring the mountain down on all of us!"
“Oh, and your rocks made rifts in the floor...Which are evidently leaking poison gas...Wonderful.", Eugene commented, looking at Cassandra with annoyance.
The former handmaiden muttered, “Nothing good comes out of a rift, huh..."
“You don't say!", the brown-haired man angrily raised an eyebrow, causing Cassandra to glare at him like she used to do in the past.
Kinda missed teasing you…
Rapunzel turned to Eugene and recommended, “Let's find a way out of here.", and he nodded in agreement, looking around for an exit. A few flies flew into his face and he complained, “Get off of me!", the man turned his head and saw...some kind of exit!
“Hey sunshine, found i-", Cassandra broke his words off by pointing her sword at him and snapped, “I go that way. You go another way."
“I spotted it first, so me and Rapunzel go that way!"
“Who said I didn't see it before you did?"
“You totally did not see it before I did!"
“How do you know I didn't?"
“Because I saw it before you! I'm not blind! You're just saying you saw it first so I'll let you go that way, but no, I'm not falling for that! I saw it before you."
“I beg to differ.", Cassandra's eyes were gleaming with sneer as she kept arguing with him even though she knew he was right, but before Eugene could reply anything, Rapunzel called out, “Guys, there is another way!"
“We have to climb it?", Eugene sighed, clutching his ribs as he and Cassandra turned around, staring up at the 'exit'. He still felt a bit sore from falling onto his ribs, and climbing sounded like the worst thing to do now.
“And on your first guess too!", Cassandra chuckled, knowing it would annoy him. It did. He glared at her and grumbled, “Really funny, Cassandra.", then he started climbing, meanwhile making sure Rapunzel was okay. He didn't want her to slip and fall, because then he couldn't catch her. He also made sure Cassandra was doing fine, it was out of habit. The former lady-in-waiting seemed pretty focused on getting out of the weird place, she had even sheathed her sword.
When Eugene arrived at the top, his ribs were hurting even more and he was ready to complain about it, but before he could he got distracted by a loud roar coming from his left. A huge mole came running towards him and it didn't look like it just wanted to talk at all. His eyes widened with dread as he backed away.
A huge mole...Well, what did I expect!
His thoughts were interrupted when suddenly there was no ground behind him anymore and he immediately lost his balance, falling backwards with a yelp of fear. So that was it, he was gonna die here, because of a mole. Nobody would believe that story, would they? Well, he wouldn't have to worry about it...The young man closed his eyes, accepting his fate and expecting to hit the hard floor any second. But he never did. Instead, he landed on something...It hurt too, but not as much as he thought.
Hesitantly, he opened his eyes, looking down. He was lying on something black-blueish, it was smooth, but hard. Was it a rock?! Had Cass saved him?
“Eugene!", a voice called out, and he spotted Rapunzel looking down at him, green eyes wide in concern.
He smiled a little and noticed that the rock was moving up, towards the girls. It really was a rock...Cassandra DID save him! Arms wrapped around him and he leaned into the touch. It was Rapunzel, he knew that.
“Watch where you step.", Cassandra told him and he looked up at her, muttering, ”T-thank you Cass.". He looked past her and saw a door. That was weird...Yet, he pointed at it and slowly got up as he suggested, “We'll be safe from the mole there I think."
Rapunzel and Cassandra nodded at the same time and they quickly ran to the door, opening it and running inside the room that was revealed. Eugene closed the door behind himself when all of them were safe inside.
“That was close...", the former thief panted, knowing the mole could've easily seen them...luckily he didn't.
“That is going in the journal! 2 pages! That mole is huge!", Rapunzel cheerfully announced and Eugene looked at Cassandra to see her reaction. The woman only looked at Rapunzel and then sighed, “Okay, fine."
“Fine what?", the princess asked, there was hope in her eyes, but Eugene simply raised an eyebrow at Cassandra, crossing his arms.
What is fine? Does she wanna make up? No...that would make no sense, not after all she's done...She didn't betray us for nothing, she didn't kidnap and drug Varian for nothing, she didn't threaten my life for nothing, and she didn't take the mindtrap for nothing. That's not like her, she wouldn't give up now...Even though I wish she would. She seems to have a plan. Is Cass planning to leave now? To continue her plan, whatever that entailed?
The couple's confusion cleared up as Cassandra extended a hand towards Rapunzel and said, “Temporary truce. But just until we get out of here."
Rapunzel seemed hesitant to shake Cassandra's hand, she rubbed her chin and explained, “Well...Now I have a new condition.", that earned an annoyed sigh from Cassandra, she grumbled, “Let me guess, I have to be nice to you and Fitzherbert."
“That's not what I was gonna say...Yeah okay, that is what I was gonna say, but...you just have to not be mean.", Rapunzel told her and held out her own hand, grinning sheepishly.
Cassandra? Not being mean? Oh Blondie, you don't know Cass very well, do you?
“To you? Okay...", Cassandra did shake Rapunzel's hand, and Eugene noticed that his girlfriend immediately relaxed. He also noticed that even Cassandra seemed calmer as she turned around and started walking through the room while remarking, “It was indeed a huge mole."
Eugene looked around, and he frowned when he spotted some kinds of scrolls. He pointed to one of them, the one that looked quite familiar, and asked, “Hey sunshine, isn't that the Demanitus scroll?"
But it was destroyed? Maybe it's a copy...
“Indeed...Gothel was alive for a long time.", Rapunzel muttered as the girls walked over to him and stared at the scroll. It was no use to them anymore though, so they continued walking after a few seconds of inspecting it. Suddenly, the princess stopped walking and pointed at a wall where a mirror wasn't where it belonged. She narrowed her eyes and murmured, “Looks like one is missing."
At that moment, Eugene accidentally touched another mirror and suddenly there was some figure staring at him through it. That was not his reflection...His eyes involuntarily widened and he panted, backing away as he recognized the person in the mirror that spoke, “Good morning, beautiful."
“Mother?!", he heard Rapunzel and Cassandra gasp at the same time and the young man grimaced. He didn't like it when Rapunzel called that horrible woman her mother, she had a wonderful mother in Corona, Gothel was her kidnapper, not her mother...But he understood why she had called her mother, she spent 18 years of her life with the woman after all.
“Well, don't you look lovely today? Smokey eyes definitely work for you.", Gothel continued talking, staring into the mirror. As Eugene stared at her, he realized that she wasn't really there.
Thank goodness she's not! I don’t feel like dying today…
"And she's…talking to herself.", Rapunzel groaned, seeming annoyed by Gothel. She was used to those comments after all, and they had always bothered her, even back in the tower.
Eugene still felt really uncomfortable staring at the woman that had killed him back then. Rapunzel, who seemed to notice his uneasiness, grabbed his hand and he calmed down a little as she gently squeezed it. He hated it here, he'd honestly rather be with that mole right now than stuck here with memories of the knife, the overwhelming pain, Gothel’s cruel smirk and the coldness and darkness that consumed him as he slowly bled out.
Thankfully, they soon continued walking through the room, when Eugene suddenly accidentally knocked over some weird liquid while still deep in thought, but it seemed like nothing had happened, so he didn't tell the girls about it.
Cassandra touched several other mirrors, looked at them carefully, then she spoke, “Magic mirrors."
“Looks like these can trap images and play them back.", Rapunzel added, causing Eugene to chuckle, “Like your journal...in a way."
Cassandra grumbled, “And I thought it was-"
“Napapapapap...", the princess stared at her sternly, and Eugene grinned as Cassandra groaned, rolled her eyes and muttered, “Less...annoying...than this. Happy now?"
“Yes I am.", Rapunzel seemed satisfied, but Eugene knew that deep down Cassandra's words had hurt her very much. She had never seemed to dislike the princess' journal, and she never said anything about finding it annoying either. Then again, there was a lot she didn't tell them, wasn't there?
They walked past other mirrors, and despite Eugene's uneasiness Cassandra kept touching some of them, not caring about him, who kept wincing whenever he saw her. When the girl touched a big mirror, Gothel appeared once again, seeming to put on makeup.
The old woman said, “I was paid the nicest compliment today. There I am picking out fruits-"
You? Being paid a compliment? The only one I'd give you would be: I'm impressed YOU managed to kill ME!
The hag abruptly stopped talking when there was a sweeping sound. She sighed, “Ugh, Cassandra! Would you be a dear and sweep a little quieter?!", it wasn't a question, it was an order. The woman stared at a very young, black-haired girl wearing a green dress and holding a broom.
That's Cassandra! Oh wow…that old hag really was lovely to everyone, wasn't she?
Cassandra looked away as the mirror turned black, seeming upset, so he tried cheering her up by saying, “Hey, she wasn't-"
“Leave me alone before I knock you back into the middle of next week!", Cassandra snarled and a rock appeared next to him and he jumped back, startled. The man looked at his former friend and mumbled, “Sorry that I was trying to be nice!"
“Cass, leave him alone. And Eugene, don't goad her.", his girlfriend demanded, crossing her arms.
“I wasn't even-", he broke off, sighing with annoyance. He shouldn't have come here, all of this sucked. He didn't want to ever see Gothel again, he didn't want to ever be threatened by Cassandra again and overall didn't think that all this was gonna happen today.
Rapunzel went over to a mirror far enough away from Eugene so he wouldn't tense up again, she watched the scene in the mirror and stood up, sighing, “That's typical Gothel right there."
Cassandra lifted her head, narrowed her eyes and asked, “What do you mean?"
The princess responded, “She wasn't exactly the nurturing type...When she was around, that is.", and Eugene looked at her in compassion. Gothel really had been a horrible mother...
“Honey, she was never around for me. I wonder why.", Cassandra muttered, making Eugene frown and growl, “Like she asked to be taken from her parents by a mad woman! Besides, all that old woman ever wanted from her was her hair! She didn't love her, she didn't love you, she didn't love either of you! And the sooner you understand that, the better!"
Cassandra seemed ready to attack him, which didn't surprise him, but before she could, Rapunzel joined in, “The only good thing Gothel ever did was bring us together!"
She's got a point
“Only good thing? You really think THIS is a good thing?", the blue-haired woman stared at Rapunzel, and Eugene knew that those words stung. Especially because they weren't true at all. They had been amazing friends, all of them enjoyed each other's company very much, or at least used to. Cassandra had been happy too, until she'd gone into that room that showed her her past. The house of yesterday's tomorrow had ruined everything...
“For you maybe.", Cassandra whispered, walking towards another mirror.
“Do you really think that woman cared about anyone but herself?", Rapunzel sighed and Eugene asked himself the same thing. It was so obvious that she didn't...How could Cass be so blind?
“Cassandra, what are you doing in here? I thought I told you to make us dinner!", Gothel's voice scolded someone, who Eugene assumed had to be the young, innocent Cassandra he'd seen in another mirror.
Go make dinner yourself then!
Rapunzel continued speaking, “You and I have something in common that no one else could ever understand-"
“Guys!", Eugene called out and suddenly they were surrounded by green fire. Eugene wanted to laugh. This was just getting worse and worse, like they hadn't been through enough already. He took a step back, scared to get burned by the flames.
“Watch out!", Cassandra snapped and a few rocks pushed Rapunzel back before there was a sudden explosion and he was thrown back, hitting his head. He saw stars, shaking his head to clear his vision. The man noticed gross gas coming out of a rift in the ground and crawled backwards while mumbling, “What the-"
“The gas!", Rapunzel gasped, quickly running to Eugene and pulling him further away from the rift.
Meanwhile Cassandra panted, “Please tell me this gas isn't also flammable."
It was. Another explosion came, causing all three of them to fall backwards again, they found themselves behind a mirror, next to each other as they were panting and trying to calm down.
“Moles, rifts, gas...and now fire?!", the blonde girl listed, seeming pretty annoyed by everything that had happened. So Eugene wasn't the only one...
Let's not forget almost falling to death!
Cassandra rolled her eyes and responded, “We've dealt with worse.", her words made Rapunzel smile slightly at the memories, she added, “Yeah, at least there's no savage mermen warriors."
“Or sneeze weasels."
“Or those spider things in the forest of no return.", Eugene joined in, making both of the girls smile. Even Cassandra did!
“Good times...", they all said at the same time, followed by surprised gasps. The former best friends stared at each other for a few more seconds, when Cassandra cleared her throat and asked, “Do you mind if we find a way out of here?"
“There is one!", Eugene pointed at a hole in the wall, leading back to where he almost fell to his death.
“The problem with that way is, that there is a whole mole in it, remember fancy pants?", Cassandra growled, and it reminded Eugene of old times when everything had been fine. When teasing Cassandra actually was fun...And when she didn't threaten to kill him with her rocks all the time.
Rapunzel cheered, “You called him fancy pants! You haven't called him that since-"
“Oh, don't read into it. Now let's get out of here, fast!", the blue-haired woman said, causing Rapunzel to point at a mine cart.
Not this again...
The princess jumped into the cart and announced, “All ashore that's going ashore!", and Cassandra stared at her like she was stupid as she snapped, “How do you expect this thing to go anywhere?!"
Eugene suppressed a groan as he grumbled, “You could shoot a rock out of the floor...to-"
“To push it! I get it, Fitzherbert! But I thought your precious princess said more black rocks would bring the mountain down on us!", the former handmaiden interrupted him, raising an eyebrow.
He replied, “Could! She said could, blueberry-hair!"
Cassandra warningly narrowed her eyes and grumbled, “This is a very bad idea. And you better watch your mouth, Fitzherbert.", she did shoot a rock out of the floor after all though, making them rush forward. There was a lot of shaking, when suddenly they were falling. Out of instinct the three of them wrapped their arms around each other, letting out yelps. With a loud 'oof' they landed in the cart again, continuing to rush forward.
“Watch out!", Eugene cried out as he spotted the huge mole that had almost caused him to die not long ago. He saw Rapunzel grabbing the left edge of the cart and then they were suddenly making a turn to the right, screaming.
“Oh come on!", Cassandra and Eugene groaned at the same time when they noticed the mole was following them. He looked even angrier than he did while encountering Eugene, and that wasn't good at all.
“He's gaining on us!", the blue-haired woman called out, Rapunzel replied, “I think that's your department!"
Cassandra turned around, shooting rocks out of the floor behind them, blocking the mole's way. The huge animal growled in annoyance, just hearing that sound made Eugene shudder slightly.
“Nice move!", the princess laughed and he heard Cassandra thank her happily. At that moment Eugene and the girls fell out of the mine cart again, and the man gasped as he hit the floor and landed on his already sore ribs. He looked up and noticed the girls seemed to be okay. thankfully.
“Mine carts...Who knew!", Rapunzel said and started laughing, Eugene did too and to his surprise, even the dragon-lady did. But then Cassandra's expression changed as she looked at something on the ground beside her.
A mirror? Why would there be a mirror in Rapunzel's bag?!
“The missing mirror? You took it?", Cassandra muttered, looking up at the princess in confusion.
Did she? No, can't be, she was with us the whole time. Besides, why would she take it anyway...
Rapunzel seemed shocked and gasped, “What? No, I didn't! I have no idea how that got in my bag.", Cassandra didn't seem convinced by her words, but she looked back at the mirror and pressed her hand on it to activate it.
“Here, let me show you, sweetheart. Turn the key like this, so whenever you hear this tune, you think of your dear, sweet mother, and the love I have for you."
“I love you, mama!"
That doesn't sound like something Gothel would say at all...it sounds manipulative...
Rapunzel seemed just as shocked as Eugene as she looked up and said, “Cass, I have never seen that."
“Really? The one mirror showing that mother…MY mother...had a shred of affection for me and it just happens to wind up in your bag?!", Cassandra yelled, Eugene noticed that she seemed more hurt than angry. Or she was hiding her anger well, she was good at hiding things after all.
“But Cass, I was next to you the whole time! There is no way I could've taken it without you or Eugene noticing! ", the blonde princess protested, crossing her arms. That seemed to make Cassandra hesitate.
Eugene added, “Besides, why would she do that anyway?!"
The woman's head turned towards him sharply as she narrowed her blue eyes. She pulled out her sword and hissed, “So it was YOU! Could've guessed that, considering how good you are at taking things without anyone noticing, aren't you? You are nothing more than just a stupid thief anyway!"
This is bad!
“I didn't! I promise! I haven't stolen stuff in years, and I wouldn't steal a stupid mirror filled with YOU and Gothel anyway!", he shook his head, lifting his hands. Ouch, her words hurt. He was way more than just a thief, wasn't he?
Cassandra rolled her eyes, groaning, “And how much is your promise worth?"
“More than your promises I guess, considering your stupid behaviour these last few mon-", he broke off when the hilt of a sword hit his head with full force. He heard Rapunzel yell at Cassandra, but he was a little too dazed to really listen. The crazy woman had hit him with the hilt of her sword!
At least she didn't stab me like her mother did...
Eugene had to lean against the wall, panting softly to fight the dizziness. He couldn't pass out now...Slowly, he started walking towards Cassandra, since she had turned her back on him.
“You know, I'm more disappointed in you than angry.", Eugene muttered and she turned around, rolling her eyes at him. She huffed, “And I'M more ready to crush you to death than on your birthday!", she moved forward, roughly shoving him backwards so that he stumbled and fell, hitting his head as he fell to the floor. Well, that hurt...
The young man looked up, seeing Cassandra's sword near his throat. The only thing that kept it from slicing his throat open were strands of blonde hair wrapped around it, holding it back.
“That's enough! This is not you!", Rapunzel shouted, her eyes started glowing and Cassandra was thrown back towards the exit in front of them.
The former handmaiden growled, “Don't you get it? Only I decide who I am! Not you, not my father, not Varian, not Lance, and most certainly not Fitzherbert! And I don't see anyone else here who could've taken the mirror besides a princess and a former thief!"
“What about that weird 'friend' of yours?", Rapunzel huffed, her green eyes were narrowed.
Cassandra rumbled, “She's not here though, is she? Besides, she is the only person that never lied to me about anything so far! She would give me the mirror willingly, not hide it in your bag!"
Rapunzel didn't find a good response in time, so Cassandra simply glared at both of them and demanded, “Out of my way."
Eugene watched her leave, he relaxed slightly and heard Rapunzel say, “She's more lost than I thought.", meanwhile carefully helping him up. He hissed in pain a few times, then whispered, “We were so close...She WAS back! But that mirror ruined everything! Why does she believe a stupid missing mirror and a little girl over her 'best friends'? i swear I didn't take it!"
“I know you didn't. I didn't either. Zhan Tiri is smart, she must've found a way to sneak the mirror into my bag...What I find odd is that there's a piece missing. That means there's a part of the clip that wasn't shown!"
Eugene's eyes widened slightly, her words made so much sense...
“I need to go see Varian.", he decided, but Rapunzel stopped him and said, “After the doctor has taken a look at you."
Eugene chuckled and replied softly, “After the doctor has taken a look at me."
The End
