Chapter Text
It was currently pouring rain outside, but that didn't stop the two little Parkers who were about 5 years old, from having a blast outside, decked out in rain gear splashing in the puddles, looking like the two happiest children in the world. It was only when a loud blast of thunder echoed through the park that y/n shrieked in fear and hid behind her brother, who was giggling at his sister's behavior.
"It's not funny Pete!" She shrieked after another burst of thunder rumbled. Peter's giggling only turned into full blown laughter. Uncle Ben and Aunt May came running towards them "Alright, you both have had your fun, it is time to come inside before you both catch a cold." Uncle Ben said softly. Peter stopped his laughing and started to pout, while Y/N looked like she could jump for joy. As they both got into their car for the short drive home Y/N shrieked once again as thunder rippled throughout the parking lot they were driving out of. Peter looked at Y/N with the most serious face he could muster and said "You don't have to be scared N/N, I will always protect you! Just like Iron Man!"
The mention of Peter being like Iron Man was enough to make her giggle. Though thunder stuck again, and this time Y/N let out a little shriek and grabbed onto Peter's hand. She held his hand like her life depended on it throughout the rest of the ride. Meanwhile in the front seats of the car, Ben and May's hearts where both warmed at how much the two twins clearly loved each other, each thinking "Those two are so cute together! As long as they are with one another, what could go wrong?"
That is what they thought at least.
Y/N woke up to the sound of beeping. Another day without her big brother's hand to hold.
