It was June first the next day, the first day of pride month, the school had nothing planned for pride. Aizawa was grading stuff late at night when he gets sprung on my his husband
hizashi: “hay shoooo~“
Shota: “what is it sunshine?”
hizashi: “guess what tomorrow is?”
Shota: “first of June?”
hizashi: “and it’s the first day of pride month!!! And I want to do something for the students to make them feel welcome”
Shota: “hmm...I’m in for that”
so that night the pair stayed up all night making idea’s and thinking of things to do the full month with full permission from nezu.
the next morning the bell rang for class, everyone sitting down as Aizawa opens the door, walking in with his normal hero costume but his hair tied up with a rainbow ribbon, his utility belt also had rainbow pride flags and trans flags and other pride flags. He stand in front of the class who were expecting a normal lesson untill he gave a normal but small smile
Aizawa: “this lesson will be a little different, today if the first of June which represents the start or pride month, a month where we celebrate all our LGBTQIA+ friends. I wasn’t planning on doing anything for it this year but as a gay and trans man who is married to the loudest bisexual to ever exist who gets overly excited this month every single year. We wanted to do something for all of you to make you all feel safe and welcome if you are part of the community wether it is your sexuality or your gender”
Before any of the students could say anything mic bursts in excitedly “hay sho!” he kissed Shota’s cheek before standing in front of the class. “Now since I’m more into pride and more excited about it and all that I’ll be taking the class as well as your teach!” He smiles as he had the bisexual flag wrapped around his shoulders connected to the shoulder pads.
the pair do a class on what all the sexualities and gender identities mean, since they were supposed to have English next it turned into a double period, they get the class super hyped up and even Aizawa was having fun. The five then a 10 minute break to talk when the bell goes, aoyama standing up and everyone staring at him
mic: “yo something wrong listener?”
aoyama: “...I...I’m non-binary! I’ve known for a while but I thought nobody would every accept me but hearing all this is makes me proud to identify as non-binary”
the class smile and both hizashi and Shota walk over and give them a hug “we’re proud that you trust us enough to tell us all”
after the 10 minute break they go over pronouns and how to use them correctly and how to use someone’s preferred names, they gave out post-it-notes and let everyone write their preferred pronouns and their name on it so everyone could use the right pronouns and names for each other. Mineta thinking it was all bullshit and got expelled on the spot and Shinso would later take his place.
the pair let the class have pride flags they bought to let the students express them selves. Shinso coming in who ended up talking to denki, denki sitting with his two purple haired partners and talking happily with them, denki picking up the polyamory flag which the whole class agreed it needed a new design.
Shota and hizashi look after their ‘children’ for the day and make sure they feel welcome, hizashi even inviting them all over for dinner as their adopted-gay-parents. Giving them all a good day and would proceed to give them a month full of prideful fun.
Each day of pride represents a different part of the community.
