Work Text:
The boys were sitting on the floor in the living room, they had pillows and cushions around them and the lights were slightly dimmed, outside the sun was already setting. They had fallen into a routine of gathering together to spend the night before going to bed. And as of recently, they were taking turns in choosing a game to play together, that night it was Jin’s turn.
They were already a little tipsy, Jin spoke to get everyone’s attention:
“Guys, I watched this movie the other day and it gave me an idea….”
“Jin-hyung! it’s your turn to choose a game!” Jungkook giddily announced.
“It is, and I was going to tell you before you interrupted me!”, Jin glared at Jungkook but the youngest ignored him, motioning for him to continue, “let’s play tag!”
When Jin stopped talking, they looked at each other, everyone's faces lit up.
“BUT! It’s not the usual tag, we have to make it interesting! Instead of just passing it by touching someone, you’d have to kiss them instead!”
Jin mentally went through what he had just said, yes, he had said everything he wanted. The idea he came up with while sober idea was to play normal tag, with a tiny bit of alcohol he came up with Kiss Tag.
He looked at everyone, and he was pleased to see their expression go from confusion to anticipation.
“No backing off, we agreed that we’d play no matter the game we suggested.” He said that to make sure the idea of backing off disappeared from their thoughts.
Everyone looked around and nodded, as much as the game sounded a little too much, none of them was going to back off.
“Alright hyung! You go first and try to get us” Jimin spoke up, already moving from his spot on the floor. Everyone else followed suit. They were standing up and ready to run for their dear lives.
“Ready? Go!” Jin declared the beginning of the game. And he burst out laughing when everyone stormed off the room, Hobi nearly slipped but grabbed Jungkook to prevent his fall, and instead, the pair fell down together. They quickly got up laughing and disappeared into their home.
With everyone out of sight Jin started looking around, he gave the others the chance to hide. He went to the kitchen first and he noticed a figure crouched down behind the kitchen island. He furtively approached the figure and when the figure noticed his presence Jin made sure to prevent him from escaping, he quickly grabbed Taehyung’s face and placed a light peck in his lips. Taehyung seemed too shocked to do anything, so he took the opportunity and rushed to get away from Taehyung.
Taehyung was alone in the kitchen, he touched his lips and sighed. He thought he was well hidden! It was his turn to find someone to kiss.
He went through a couple of rooms in their home, and he couldn’t find anyone. The thought of everyone locked up in bathrooms crossed his mind and the idea made him laugh. As soon as he entered the laundry room Taehyung noticed Hobi’s bright clothes giving away his hideout. He made sure his expression was nonchalant as he whispered “Hyung? Hobi-hyung? Is that you? Can I hide with you?”
Hoseok’s peeked out, “Taehyung-ah, come here!”
Taehyung smiled innocently as he approached him, and when he was close enough he reached out to grab Hobi’s hand. As soon as Hobi tried to take his hand to pull him to his hideout Taehyung swiftly held Hobi’s hand in his and clumsily kissed it. Taehyung heard a loud gasp and he smirked before he left the room in a hurry, not without announcing “You’re it hyung!” first.
Hoseok was in disbelief, he shook his head, the others could be so sly when it came to games. Hoseok strolled around their home, and as he walked by the kitchen the light coming from the opened fridge revealed the location from a careless Yoongi.
He casually went towards Yoongi, “Hyung! What are you doing here?” He whispered his question as Yoongi showed him the bottle of water in his hands.
“I was thirsty, I figured the worst-case scenario is that I’d get caught” He stated as a matter-of-fact.
“Oh, mind giving me one?” He got closer to Yoongi with the pretense of taking the bottle of water, and as soon as Yoongi closed the fridge’s door to hand him the bottle of water, Hobi swiftly placed a kiss on his cheek. Yoongi gasped and glared at him, “How dare you- Hoseok-ah… get over here for fuck’s sake!” Hoseok ran off and Yoongi went after him but quickly gave up.
Yoongi found Taehyung laying on the sofa, head resting in the sofa’s arm. His forehead was glaringly exposed. He had a soju juice box in his hand.
“Taehyung-ah, what are you doing? You’re gonna hurt your neck” Yoongi sweetly spoke to him.
“Hmm, Yoongi-hyung, ‘sthatyou?” Taehyung barely opened his eyes to look at Yoongi.
Yoongi leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Taehyung's forehead as he whispered, “You’re it Taehyung-ah.”
Taehyung woke up, he realized he wasn’t in his own room and instead was on the living room’s sofa. And the memories from the previous night rushed to him. It was his turn to be it. Although he wasn’t certain if the game was still on, the idea of being the last to be it didn’t sit well with him so he got up to find a victim.
He tried to open a couple of bedrooms but they were all locked, and he was ready to give up when Jungkook’s bedroom door opened. The youngest was still curled up in his sheets, he climbed up the bed and cuddled next to Jungkook, Jungkook instinctively made space for him.
“Jungkook-ah, wake up” Taehyung spoke softly, he needed Jungkook awake. As soon as Taehyung noticed Jungkook moving to wake up he placed a hand on his cheek and kissed him. Jungkook‘s eyes immediately opened and focused on Taehyung in confusion.
“Hyung?”
“You’re it Jungkook-ah!” Taehyung giggled and hurriedly left the room.
Jungkook couldn’t believe the game was still on, and as soon as he joined everyone in the kitchen to have breakfast he brought up the topic of the game. With everyone sober, the idea of continuing the game wasn’t as appealing as it was the previous night, but no one dared to suggest calling off the game, instead they set rules:
- Bedrooms and bathrooms were safe spots.
- In the possibility of going outside, that would be a safe time.
With ground rules set, everyone reluctantly accepted to go forward with the game.
After breakfast, Hobi and Jungkook were in charge of doing the dishes, and Jungkook decided to make Hobi his target.
“Hyung, you got something on your cheek” Jungkook innocently mentioned. He waited for Hobi to look at him.
“I do? Where? Don’t tell me it’s a bug or something? Jungkook-ah, get it off!” Hobi seemed about a little frantic and looked at Jungkook expectantly.
“Wait, let me take a close look, stay still hyung” Jungkook got closer to Hobi, with ulterior motives. Jungkook opportunistically kissed Hobi’s cheek, who immediately blushed.
“Jungkook-ah! That’s not fair!” Jungkook ran off to get away from Hobi, who stayed in the kitchen feeling defeated and flustered.
Hobi had the mission to find someone to kiss, unsurprisingly everyone was locked up in their bedrooms. So he waited in the living room for someone to appear. His victim was none other than an oblivious Jimin who didn’t notice Hobi laying in the touch.
“Jimin-ssi!” Hoseok got up from the couch and startled Jimin. Jimin flopped on the floor with a hand on his chest.
“Hyung! What are you doing? You scared me!” Hobi laughed and apologized while helping Jimin get up. Right in front of his face was Jimin’s left ear, he didn’t miss his chance and quickly kissed it. He made sure Jimin was properly standing before he hurried away from him.
Jimin waited for nighttime to come to ask Jin and Jungkook to join him in tasting a new bottle of soju he bought online, that was only the pretense, he hoped he could get away with kissing someone. The three of them were drinking and eating snacks in the kitchen, Jimin tried to keep a track of the time his companion would feel tipsy to kiss someone.
Jungkook was sitting beside him whereas Jin was across from him, so he went for Jungkook. He held Jungkook’s face with his hands and hoped they were drunk enough for what he was about to do. He pressed his lips to Jungkook’s and Jimin immediately regretted it, he was definitely not drunk enough. Jungkook froze immediately and stared at him quizzically.
“Jungkook-ah, you’re it” Jimin declared and got up and fled to his room to die of embarrassment.
Jungkook stared into the wall while processing the events that had just happened. He was brought back to reality by Jin snapping his fingers. He stayed with Jin idly taking little sips from his glass while they talked and randomly laughed at their jokes. It was only until the pair decided to go to bed, that Jungkook mustered up the courage to kiss Jin, and although they were drunk the kiss made their skin tingle, “I guess now I’m it, right Jungkook-ah?” questioned an amused Jin. Jungkook simply nodded.
Jin didn’t like to admit it but he was really close to forfeiting the kiss tag game for good if he didn’t catch someone to kiss.
After the sudden start of people tagging people and finding the right time and place to tag someone else, the boys were being really careful and nowadays no one got close to Jin if they could help it.
He had tried to sit next to a distracted Namjoon during one of their rides to an event, but the other had run away as soon as he saw exactly who would be sitting next to him. After several failed attempts, Jin felt like this game would end with him and his pride would end up so bruised because of it.
He walked into their kitchen in a bad mood, pulling out the ingredients to prepare some comfort food.
Yoongi entered the kitchen then, watching him slam pans and spoons on the kitchen counter. "Are you okay?" he asked calmly, moving to the fridge to grab a cold bottle of water.
"I think I'd be better if people stopped avoiding me all the time," he snapped, sighing as he set a pot with water to boil. He sighed. "Someone outside of us will notice and we'll get in trouble," he noted. "And I'm getting tired of doing all things by myself," he quietly admitted, looking down at the kitchen floor.
"That sucks, I'm sorry," Yoongi replied, throwing his bottle from hand to hand as Jin and he looked at each other on opposite sides of the kitchen.
"Are you going to leave or...?"
Yoongi looked at the stove and then shrugged. "Maybe I can help you with that?”
Jin smiled at him. "That'd be amazing, thank you."
It was surprisingly relaxing how Yoongi wasn't afraid to step close to Jin to grab a chopping board to start cutting vegetables. As they set out doing different tasks to prepare a meal for everyone, Jin felt relaxed in a way he hadn't felt in weeks. Once Yoongi finished cutting all the vegetables they needed, he set out to set the table while Jin finished cooking, his hands working almost automatically as his mind wandered at the opportunity he had in front of him.
His acting major better come in handy now.
"Is the table ready? I think this will be ready in another 5 minutes," he said softly, stirring the contents in the pan a couple of times before turning around to face Yoongi.
“Yeah, we just need to bring everyone in,” Yoongi paused before continuing. “This was nice.”
“It really was,” Jin smiled sincerely, “thank you. Hey, could you pour some wine while we wait?”
Yoongi nodded and turned to open one of the higher shelf doors, huffing when he couldn’t reach the glasses they usually used for wine. “Is this some kind of joke?”
“Ah, these boys,” Jin sighed and walked to stand behind Yoongi, placing an arm on the counter, effectively caging him against the kitchen counter. “They forget not everyone is as tall as them.”
He picked two glasses and set them down carefully on the counter. Yoongi turned down and sighed at having Jin so close to him. “You tricked me,” he mumbled.
Jin hummed and leaned in to kiss Yoongi on the corner of his lips. “You’re the best, Yoongi-yah,” he said with a laugh. “As long as you don’t tag me again I won’t tell anyone you’re it so you have it easier to tag someone else.”
Yoongi huffed and smacked his chest, diverting his gaze to look at the empty glasses. “Whatever, now you’ll pour the wine because of what you did.”
True to his word, Jin didn’t tell anyone that he didn’t have the tag anymore, but the others quickly caught on when they noticed Jin seemed way more relaxed than before, and how he didn’t seek to get close to them - no more than his usual at least.
Yoongi made sure to act like his usual, letting the younger members suspect among themselves between shoves and giggles and running away from one another. His poker face was normal to them by now, so they never thought to suspect him.
It was a couple of days after as he prepared to go to his studio when an idea struck him.
“Hey, Jimin-ah, can you come along? I need to record some guides.”
Jimin, who had been lazing around on the couch while using his phone, perked up at that. “Really? You have something new?”
Yoongi nodded. “I might be up to something, come on.”
Jimin quickly got a jacket on and they made their way to Yoongi’s studio. They set up a recording spot near the couch where Jimin decided to settle down. He had to bring up some of the music he had prepared to record so that the younger wouldn’t see through his lie.
They managed to record two guides, Jimin’s voice filling the studio as Yoongi let everything aside to focus on his music for a moment. When they finished, he thanked Jimin and invited him for a late dinner. As they were reaching the studio door, Yoongi hooked an arm over Jimin’s shoulder to drop a kiss on his neck.
“Hyung, what…?”
“You’re it, sorry, I gotta work.” Yoongi rushed to push Jimin out of the studio and close and lock his door. Jimin screamed and started banging on the door.
“Let me in! That was so low!”
“You need a code to get inside.”
“I’ll bring Jungkook here,” he threatened.
“By the time you’re back, I won’t be here. You forgot your phone, remember?”
Jimin groaned at the other side of the door. “What about dinner?”
Yoongi sighed. “Get home and text me. I’ll order takeout for you.”
“...Fine.”
Jimin and Namjoon had taken the time to go out on a bike ride as soon as it was safe for them to do so. Covered in jackets, hats, and face masks, they rode through their usual park, basking in the silence of the early morning hours.
He hadn’t been thinking about his tag at all, he could swear on it, but when Namjoon did the unthinkable and fell off his bike, the opportunity showed up right in front of him. Literally.
“Hyung! Are you okay?” He rushed to tend to Namjoon, pulling on the bike to be able to get closer to him. “Are you hurt?”
Namjoon laughed awkwardly and scratched his neck. “I’m okay, I just scraped my knees, nothing bad.”
Jimin sighed and retrieved his bottle of water from his own bike. “You need to clean that up, hyung. You’ll get it infected if you leave it like that.”
He made Namjoon right his shorts-covered legs, pouring a bit of water over the red mark on Namjoon’s knee to remove all traces of dirt and grass. “Why am I so clumsy?”
He laughed. “I have no idea. Your dancing is better than ever, you’d think your balance would improve too.” He finished cleaning Namjoon’s scraped knee and, taking advantage of his hyung’s calm stance, he briefly took his face mask away to bend his head and kiss Namjoon’s knee, right above his injury.
Jimin stood up with a skip. “You’re it, hyung!” He rushed to get on his bike before Namjoon could finish standing up. “Remember to move slowly, that knee must hurt!”
Namjoon yelled something but Jimin didn’t listen to him, pedalling away as fast as his legs would let him.
Jimin didn’t like playing fair, and he loudly announced that Namjoon had been tagged as soon as he got home. Unfortunately, when Namjoon arrived, everyone was locked inside their rooms.
Fortunately, Jin was just arriving from his own morning walk.
“Hyung! Welcome!”
Jin was surprised but walked inside with Namjoon following closely. “Hi, Namjoon-ah, where is everyone?”
“Still sleeping, I think? I don’t think they’re up yet-”
“HE’S TAGGED, HYUNG!
Jin’s eyes widened and he started running to his bedroom instead, Namjoon rushing to follow and stop him from losing his one chance to pass the tag. “Come on here!”
“Leave me alone!” Jin entered his bedroom, but Namjoon was running so fast that he bumped against Jin and both of them fell on Jin’s bed. “This is a safe space, you can’t do anything here!”
Namjoon pondered that and got up to pull on Jin’s arms. “Come out then!”
His constant workout routine proved effective when he was able to half-pull-half-drag Jin all the way to the doorframe, where his hyung planted his feet on either side to avoid going any further.
“Stop there! I won’t leave this room!”
Namjoon looked up to the doorframe and down to the hand he was holding barely past the frame. “Right.” Namjoon kissed one of Jin’s fingers before letting him go, making the older fall back on his butt. “You’re it, hyung, I’m sorry!”
“Namjoon-ah, that’s unsanitary!” Namjoon shrugged sheepishly and ran to lock himself up in his own room. Safe for now.
“You know I’m not going to let you kiss me, right?” Jimin asked him out loud.
It was the weekend, and Jin had invited Jimin to drink with him. “No one would be able to drink you under the table”, Jin rolled his eyes. “I came to bargain.”
They were sitting on the couch, and Jimin turned his body to look at Jin. “I’m listening.”
Jin pulled out a pack of pepero sticks from behind one of the couch cushions. “Let’s play a game.”
“You know I’ll tag you right back if you kiss me, right?” Jimin said with a laugh. “There’s no way you can run away from me.”
“That’s part of the game,” he replied with a grin. “If I tag you and get to my room before you catch me, you can’t tag me ever again.”
Jimin guffawed at him. “Why?”
“I’m tired of being it!” he whined. “Everyone stays away and it’s near impossible to get anyone to tag!”
“And you think I have it easy?”
“Easier than me, yeah!”
Jimin sighed and shook his head. “And if I do catch you, what do I win then?”
“I’ll leave you alone so you don’t have to worry either.”
“This is really not a great deal,” he commented. “But I’m in.”
Jin took one pepero stick out of the pack. “Good, let’s begin then.”
The stick was between them and Jimin sighed before holding one end between his lips, Jin doing the same on the other side. He started biting into the stick, getting closer to Jimin as he did the same. When they got so close that Jin could feel Jimin’s breathing against his skin, he bit off the pepero stick and leaned back with a grin.
“How’s that?!” Jimin pulled the remains of the stick after he bit off too, a tiny piece that almost disappeared between his fingers.
“Wait, I thought you were…”
Jin didn’t let him continue. “Let’s go again!”
“I don’t know what you’re trying to pull, but I’m watching you,” Jimin mumbled, accepting yet another end of a new pepero stick when Jin pressed it against his lower lip.
He moved slowly again, and Jimin seemed to get impatient, because he moved forwards swiftly, leaving them close , their noses touching. Jin closed his eyes and ate the rest of the pepero stick, his lips pressing against Jimin’s. He felt Jimin was about to pull away so he held his face to keep him close, still kissing him.
Jimin made a surprised sound on the back of his throat, but he stopped trying to move away. Their lips kept moving together, even if neither made a move to deepen their kiss. Jin registered on the back of his mind that kissing Jimin felt good, in the same way all of the kisses he’d given before had felt. Huh.
He finally stopped kissing Jimin, pulling a bold move and biting on the other’s lower lip before releasing him completely. He didn’t give himself or Jimin any time to come back to their senses, flying off the couch to run to his room, his ears burning red.
Jimin didn’t even try to go after him, sitting back on the couch with a hand touching his lips.
Jimin’s last kiss with Jin left him baffled, not because it was bad or that it made him feel uncomfortable, but it rather made him aware that all the other kisses probably felt good; and he figured it shouldn’t feel nice, he was kissing his members and he also felt curious as to what the rest felt.
He wondered how long the game was supposed to last, they had never set a time limit and what it’d be like for them after the game was over. So instead of hunting any random member to kiss because after all, he didn’t want to be the last to be it, he chose Taehyung as his target.
“Taehyung-ah, would you do me a favor?”
They were in the living room watching a variety show together, Jin had made sure everyone was informed about Jimin being it and they were all keeping their distance, except for Taehyung.
“Do you want me to be it?” Taehyung asked without a hint of surprise in his voice.
“I do, actually. Will you please help me?” He thought to himself, “I don’t want to face any other member to kiss.”
“I’ll do it Jimin-ah, but you gotta do something for me in return” Taehyung smiled brightly.
“I can take care of your chores for a week,” Jimin offered.
“A month” Taehyung replied.
“Two weeks, and that’s my last offer.” Jimin wasn’t about to take a month’s work just to kiss him.
“Fine! Just so you know I would have done it for a week” Taehyung teased him playfully.
“Shut up! Now come closer so we can get it done.” Jimin laughed nervously and he cupped Taehyung’s face in his hands. He gently rubbed his nose against Taehyung’s nose, and he smiled as he let go of Taehyung.
“Now you’re it!” Jimin declared relieved.
“What was that?” Taehyung looked at Jimin with a puzzled expression.
Jimin sighed, “It’s a thing, okay? It counts as a kiss too!” Now go on and find your target. Jimin felt his cheeks blush and he pushed Taehyung to go elsewhere.
Taehyung giggled on his way to find someone to be his target, he thought that Jimin sometimes was too cute for his own good. He heard voices coming from their makeshift home gym. He went inside and was pleasantly surprised to find Namjoon and Jungkook doing their routines.
He grabbed a towel and a bottle of water from the room’s entrance and approached Namjoon who seemed to be about to finish.
“Hyung! Are you about to finish?” Taehyung asked innocently and Namjoon nodded.
He sat down on the floor and waited for Namjoon to finish. When he saw Namjoon putting down his equipment and wiping some sweat from his forehead, he got up and offered the towel and bottle of water to his hyung.
“Ah, thank you!” Namjoon was out of breath and Taehyung wasn’t about to waste his chance, so he stood on his tiptoes and kissed Namjoon’s nose. He immediately retreated and laughed.
“Hyung! You’re covered in sweat!” Taehyung helped Namjoon wipe the sweat away from his face.
“Oh, by the way, you’re it!” Taehyung scurried outside before Namjoon had the chance to say anything.
Namjoon was at a loss for words, he couldn’t believe how easily he was made it. He figured they’d need yet another talk to discuss the game before it blew up in their faces. But first, he needed to stop being it, and his exercising partner was the perfect target. Jungkook was laying on the mat about to do sit-ups and Namjoon decided to take the opportunity.
“Jungkook-ah, can I help you with that?” Namjoon approached him.
“Oh, no don’t worry hyung. You can go on and shower first. I’ll be done in a while!” Namjoon realized Jungkook was unaware of what had just happened.
“Let me help you Jungkook-ah, it’s fine by me” Namjoon sat on his knees and firmly held Jungkook’s ankles in place. Jungkook’s knees were bent and he nodded. Namjoon gave Jungkook time to finish the sequence, when Jungkook’s eyes were closed and Namjoon kissed the youngest when he got closer to him, Jungkook’s eyes shot open and he seemed startled.
“Hyung! What was that!?” Jungkook stared at Namjoon waiting for a reply as Namjoon let go of his ankles and shifted to a more comfortable position.
“Jungkook-ah, you’re it,” Namjoon said as-a-matter-of-factly.
“Huh?” Namjoon saw how Jungkook’s expression changed from utter confusion to fully understanding the situation.
“Oh, I see” Namjoon saw Jungkook lightly touching his lips and that made him feel something he hadn’t felt before. The pair left the room together and went separate ways.
After exercising with Namjoon and being kissed sneakily, Jungkook stayed in his own room. He couldn’t quite understand the emotions he felt, it felt like nothing he felt before, and he felt embarrassed to discuss it with anyone else. Kissing and being kissed was getting to him, and that made him feel confused. So he decided to take his mind off the situation and instead work on his music. Until he reached a point where he wasn’t certain of anything he was doing, was his melody good or bad? He couldn’t tell anymore so he texted Yoongi to ask for his opinion. Yoongi asked him to go to his studio, and once Jungkook got there he didn’t bother to knock since he already knew the password. He entered the room and the room’s dimmed lights and screens brightly glaring at him, made him squint.
“Suga-hyung, I sent you a couple of files before I came”. Yoongi turned around to look at him and smiled at him.
“I know, I’m going through them Jungkook-ah.” Yoongi patted a chair next to his asking Jungkook to sit.
The pair listened to the melodies and read Jungkook’s lyrics, they stayed like that until Yoongi announced they probably needed to eat or drink anything before continuing, Jungkook volunteered to get snacks for them, and once he was back in the studio he found Yoongi sitting on the couch with his eyes closed, he stopped himself from talking to him, as to avoid waking him up. He sat down next to him and stared at Yoongi’s lips. It felt as if he was seeing Yoongi with different eyes, his skin looked soft and his lips were partly parted.
Before Jungkook could stop himself, he cupped Yoongi’s cheek with one hand and kissed him. He was about to let go of Yoongi when he was pulled closer and kissed. Jungkook went through the motions as if it was the most natural thing to do, he changed his position and sat on Yoongi’s lap, caging him against the sofa. Yoongi pressed against him and continued kissing him, Jungkook placed his arms on Yoongi’s shoulders mindlessly playing with Yoongi’s hair, he gasped when Yoongi’s hands wandered down Jungkook’s back and rubbed his sides. Yoongi immediately caught his lips and kept kissing him.
Yoongi ran out of the study out of breath, his lips swollen after making out with Jungkook for who knows how long. When they had finally pulled away, Jungkook had gasped out a small “you’re it” before Yoongi groaned and told him to call everyone to their living room for a meeting.
He walked straight to Namjoon’s studio, since he knew he was working and wouldn’t check his phone until he finished. He knocked quickly on the door, crossing his arms as he heard Namjoon fumbling around on his way to the door.
“What do you… Yoongi-hyung? What’s up?”
“We’re meeting at home, come on.”
Yoongi pulled on Namjoon’s wrist but he resisted. “Hyung, I’m working, I can’t just leave everything.”
He pulled harder. “Yes, you can. You can come back later.” When Namjoon kept fighting against his grip, Yoongi sighed in frustration. “For God’s sake, Namjoon-ah.”
Instead of pulling on Namjoon, he got himself closer to Namjoon and kissed him. Namjoon sighed in surprise, but Yoongi moved a hand to caress his cheek, trying to get him to keep kissing. It didn’t take long for Namjoon to relax, and he soon started kissing back eagerly.
Yoongi opened his mouth and let his tongue brush Namjoon’s lips, sighing when Namjoon soon did the same and their tongues met while they kept kissing for a while longer.
Remembering he had arrived at the studio with a different plan, he broke the kiss, both of them more than a little breathless. “What was that?”
“I told you we had to meet in the dorm,” Yoongi sighed, nodding towards Namjoon’s computer. “Turn everything off, I’ll wait.”
To no one’s surprise, Namjoon complied immediately.
“What is this about?” Taehyung asked from his seat at the couch, sandwiched between Jimin and Jungkook.
“This game has to stop,” Yoongi stated, and he tried to hide the smirk at the disappointed expressions sent his way. “Either we stop or we figure this out, because we can’t just keep kissing each other pretending it’s all for the game anymore.”
“I haven’t kissed everyone,” Hoseok commented.
“Yeah, me neither, surprisingly,” Jin muttered.
Yoongi waved them off. “Close enough.”
“What brought this on?” Jimin asked him with a laugh.
Yoongi felt his face reddening, but he shouldered on. He pointed at Jungkook. “He just made out with me, and he,” he moved his hand towards Namjoon, “just made out with me.”
Namjoon spluttered. “You started that!”
“I was making a point,” Yoongi replied. “And I also wanted to do it.”
Someone gasped and Yoongi turned to frown at all of them. “What’s so wrong about admitting it?”
“Nothing really…” Jungkook said in a small voice. “I also wanted to kiss hyung.”
“Which hyung?”
“Uhm… all of you?”
Everyone sat in silence as they processed what was going on. “So… what do we do now?” Jin asked the room.
Yoongi looked at Namjoon. “I guess you can call the shots, Namjoon-ah, the tag is on you. Is it game over or…?”
Namjoon looked at everyone, at how they seemed expectant and excited more than anything else. “Is it really okay?” He received several nods in affirmation and he turned to Hoseok with a gulp. “Can I?”
Hoseok smiled at him and nodded. “Go for it, Namjoon-ah.”
They leaned closer, no one tricking or pretending for the other to do so, and when they kissed, it was soft, and it felt more secure than the kisses they’d had beforehand. They kept it short, remembering everyone was around them, and as soon as Namjoon could speak again, he said,
“The game is off.”
“So we can kiss if we want to, right?” Hoseok asked with a giggle.
“You better,” Jin said. “I think you owe me a little something.”
“Oh, do I?” Hoseok stood up and walked towards Jin. “Come here, then.”
Jin shook his head, standing up as well. “It’s my turn to run from all of you.”
Hoseok ran after Jin, not before smirking at the sight of some of the other members taking full advantage of their now free-for-all kissing reign. He finally caught Jin, hugging his waist from behind as he left kisses all over his neck, turning him around to kiss him on the lips.
“Want to return to the couch?”
Jin hummed and shook his head. “The couches must be occupied by now. Let’s go to my room.”
Hand in hand, he let Jin walk him down the corridor.
